It was perfect for a quick stay where we could bring our special needs pet. No odors in the room considering they do allow pets. Breakfast was nice with a wide spread of waffles, eggs, fruit, yogurt, muffins/breads, cereal, coffee and more. There is a small indoor pool with a few lounge chairs but I didnt use it. Next door is a gas station, McDonalds and burger joint. Overall this was a nice hotel & would come back.

Close to a gas station, there are several fast food and pub style restaurants within two miles or so. Our king bed room was spacious. No hooks by the entrance to hang our coats (like other Hamptons we have stayed with), but plenty of hangers in the closet. The desk area is similar to other Hamptons with a desk on wheels that you can pull out to have more desk top space and push back in for more room space. Fridge , microwave and ice bucket are in the back corner next to the desk. A full dresser with the TV on top is at the end of the bed. A single, comfy chair is between the dresser and the window. Didn't see a space to put/open luggage. Bathroom is large. Good amount of vanity space and a shelf underneath. One hook on back of door and another next to the shower. Multi-use personal care in shower and by sink plus one bar of soap by the sink. Towels were soft and absorbant. There is no switch for the bathroom exhaust fan so the room was super humid after our showers. The heater was quiet and kept us warm. The quilt was a good weight for our December stay. Sheets are soft and comfortable. Mattress firm. Only the pillows were disappointing; fiber fill that would bunch up in one place and almost no padding in another. Breakfast is served in a hallway shaped room off the lobby that is locked outside of breakfast hours. During our stay it included cold cereal, cooked oatmeal, fresh fruit (cut melon), western omlette, red potato mix, toaster items, waffles, hard boiled eggs, juice and coffee. The breakfast layout was very unorganized. Oatmeal is at the front right and cold cereal at the back left. Toaster items are at the back right and the toaster is at the middle left so you select your item, turn around and walk back to the toaster on the other side. Not even 'hot stuff here, cold stuff there'. Cold yogurt was in a bowl next to the hot oatmeal. There is no 'flow' to this set-up. Although no fridge in the breakfast area, they did offer hot sauce and grated cheese to add to your eggs and cream cheese for your bagel, plus butter, jelly, salt and pepper packets, etc. Coffee is by the front door. Luggage carts are located in the vestibule just before the lobby. They are similar to airport luggage carts. The lobby doubles as the breakfast dining room so cafe tables and chairs plus a high top work surface.

Relatively quiet, except some hall noise from doors closing. No noise from outside. Plenty of parking. One of the other reviewers noted that it wasn't renovated... but then it wasn't beat up by the gas industry animals over the past few years either. Carpet, furniture, TV all in very good condition. Close to food, gas, and shopping. Staff is friendly, check in is quick. There are train tracks on the other side of US-15, but I haven't heard any train noise. Other amenities include a pool and gym.

I stopped at the front desk on arrival and the woman working was very kind and accommodating. She gave me a room key in case I had any issues with the digital key (which now showed it was working). They had cookies set out as well, which is always a nice welcome, along with free bottled water. I stayed in room 300 (digital key worked just fine). I prefer rooms at or near the end of hallways away from elevators. I ended up choosing the end of the hall that is closest to the main road so there was occasional street noise but it wasn't constant. The room is very clean - the bathroom looks like it was recently renovated...also very clean. They have all the amenities of a Hampton Inn - gym, free parking, free breakfast. It's my preferred chain for travel. This location has a pool as well so that's nice for families. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Each of the staff in the lobby were helpful, friendly and accommodating each day. The comfortableness of the lobby, meal area access throughout the day with fresh fruit, endless coffee/tea and fresh baked cookies each day was a perfect addition. We met Lisa, who worked in the breakfast area several days we were there and was extremely kind and helpful each morning. She made the experience of being a guest, an amazing event and grateful for her friendliness to my family. The rooms were clean, freshened up each day by request and the wonderful staff who cleaned our room were gracious and friendly each day too. 100% sure you should stay here! Don't make a mistake and stay somewhere else. You will not be disappointed.

It smells clean and fresh with all updated decor and furnishings that are spotless. The front desk was being handled. Perfectly, and even with your busy staff here, they still took the time to greet me and tell me they would be with me. My room is spacious and large, super clean and has all kinds of extra little amenities. Free breakfast in the morning is a perk. I am only five minutes from Bucknell University, so I will be staying here again. The next time I take the trip up.

There is a Bonanza Steak House down the street but they close at 7:30pm. For anything substantial, you are headed to Lewisburg. First stay here was nice. First floor, corner room (137). With hot tub in the room. Very nice. Second stay, same style room, but 209. Hot tub dribbles... does not drain properly so after using it, we got to listen to the draining water all night. No stopping it because it leaks when closed too. The bigger issue was the disgusting sheets and such. Black stains on the sheet. Mattress pad was a mess. Blood, urine stains were all over it. Then there were actually crumbs on the mattress pad. How they got there, no one knows. Front desk gave us new linens. They were upset about how bad the mattress pad was. Second pad was also stained but only one small one. They obviously have an issue with housekeeping and keeping their stuff clean. Management comped the room which was nice.

We travel with our pups quite often and it was heartwarming to see how welcomed even they were here. The room was clean, especially for being a pet friendly room. I really appreciate that. Many hotels seem to take less care of the rooms rented by travelers with pets. I was so happy to see that wasn't the case here. The beds were comfortable and definitely helped us get the rest we needed for the rest of our trip. I'm glad we decided to stop here and ignored some of the negative reviews.

Owners Linda and Bill have created a lovely and calming atmosphere throughout this historic home. Classic and uncluttered, all the rooms are spotlessly clean and appointed with comfortable beds and well chosen simple decor. Certainly not the stereotypical lace, floral wallpapered and wall-to-wall dusty antique kind of B&B. Breakfast is always delicious, as are the frequent evening cookies left on the entry table for guests to enjoy at the end if the day. Will continue to make this our home-away-from-home when visiting our Bucknell student.

Bill and Linda were extremely welcoming and friendly. The home itself is beautiful and meticulously furnished. After a day of work-related travel, coming back to soft music, a glass of sherry, and chocolates was probably among the nicest travel experiences I've had. If you're curious about the history of the home, the rooms also feature a picture book with facts about the home and pictures of all the guest rooms. I enjoyed reading it over while having a glass of tea from the Keurig in the upstairs hallway. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip through Pennsylvania... and next time I might stay longer!
