We tried to eat here multiple times not realizing that they didn't open until 7pm. We found them open tonight and they did not disappoint. The arribiatta sauce with penne pasta was out of this world. The zuppoli was fantastic, the fried Cod was yummy!!! The steaks were among the best I've ever had and the atmosphere was exceptional and the whole evening was a real delight, topped off only by the great waiter who served us!!! I LOVEDDDDD this place- for the steak and great service. Everyone was so friendly from the moment we walked in the door until we left. There are multiple rooms to sit and even an outdoor area. They even had a bidet-ish situation in the loo (if need be). They're known for their steak, but I'm not a huge steak person so I let my companions order that and I stuck w.the pasta, zucchini flower, and some other mini bites. I specifically wrote this review to highlight the steak. Phenomenal. I tried a few bites and it was succulent and flavorful. They even bring it on a skillet so it's still cooking as it comes to your table, w.a beautiful aroma wafting through the air. If you're looking for steaks in Rome- this is it. Everything else was decent (I even enjoyed the beans which I usually hate) except the zucchini flower bc I hate anchovies. We went for a late lunch on a Monday. It was not crowded, but they had a decent crowd. I would definitely expect a packed house during a popular dining time. The service was great from the beginning to the end. Our server had us laughing several times. We had foccacio as a lead, and it was simple and delicious. The mixed salad was excellent, par for the course in Italy. My wife had a caprese salad, and it was amazing. The tomatoes are gorgeous and the mozzarella was divine. I had a T-Bone and it was good. It had a disappointing amount of gristle, but it was presented nicely. It is played on cast iron and continued to sizzle for minutes. It was seasoned very simply with rock sea salt, and it worked well. It also came with beans and potatoes. The potatoes were simple, and the beans were enjoyable. The beans reminded me of a californian tri-tip barbeque. The sides supplemented the meal nicely without overpowering the entree. We enjoyed our dining experience here and would come back. read more

For meat lovers only! Great for rowdy group dinners, you can order set meals with loads of starters (but careful, it's very easy to get full on those only), and then proceed to the meat. The men in the group invariably then have a competition on who can order the most unreasonably huge size of beef (can go to 2kg) and then we all get very very ill. Yes it's pretty decadent and indulgent. Have not tried anything other than their tasty starters and beef but I'm sure they have other stuff too. Was in Rome on business visiting one of our vendors and they took us out to this restaurant for dinner. Very busy restaurant which was a good sign. Gotta say great food especially if you like grilled meat! Friendly staff as well. Only down side was small and tight tables. read more

This place was recommended by the Hotel Desk clerk as one of the best places around town. I found the food quality adequate, but the restaurant was overly crowded and they made sure to pack you in like sardines. I just ate there last night on July 17 at 9:30 PM. I ordered a beer and the waiter brought 2, I sent the other one back. My friend ordered a pizza and salad, I ordered a potatoe side, salad & their steak Parmesan cheese and cherry tomato dish. 15 minutes later the waiter brought my friends order my potatoes and salad. After 40 minutes my main dish still did not arrive. My friend had already finished her meal. Which was sad because good restaurants usually serve tables together. That's the whole point of going out to dinner with your friends. I went inside to talk to the manager. And when I asked, all of the workers turned and stared at me like I was crazy. She asked me if there was anything I wanted A complimentary drink or menu item at no cost. I told her no, I'm going to leave it up to you to decide what they think is right. I return to my seat and finally my plate was there. At this point I was so irritated I could not even enjoy my meal. All I wanted to do was leave. The manager did not even come up to me themselves to bring the check. At this point, management needs to handle business. The waiter brought it and told me they gave my friends pizza for free. The restaurant should have given me my dish for free for having to wait 50 minutes for it. A very poor experience. I wish I got that waiter's name. I would totally mention him here. I believe the owner should really look into questioning him. I will never return to this restaurant when I visit Rome again. This was a very horrible finale to my day after spending many lovely hours prior at the beach. read more

Quick service, good meals, good prices! We went twice during our stay in Rome and had a great experience both times. The food was delivered hot and fresh, and was very tasty. Our server was quick, and did her best with English. The prices and portions are very reasonable. €8 for an entire pizza! Also tried the pasta of the day which was a ravioli - delicious, but could have been a bigger portion for dinner. The tiramisu and its cream were fantastic (could've eaten an entire bowl of the cream alone!!). Tried the Nutella Pie the next night and wasn't impressed - could tell it was stale. Husband dried the creme de caramel (flan), and found it decent Stays open late! Nice, inviting atmosphere! The gelato shop across street is also delicious! read more

Received a terrible piece of meat, smelled not good. Upon telling the waiter and requesting a new one, he just gave us a bad look and refused to change the meat, saying it was top quality. The said piece of meat was anything but that, abundant in bone and thick hard fat. The smell had that hint of repulsive stench that bad meat starts to have when left too long outside and bacteria starts to form. I had our ''neighbours'' smell the meat too, just to double check if it wasn't me having a funny nose, and they concurred.. the meat did not smell eatable. My girlfriend's stake wasn't smelly, but it was dripping blood even though we stressed more than once that she wanted it well cooked. The potatoes and the beans did not look freshly made, I wouldn't be surprised if they recycled them from past plates. The prices are as high as way better restaurants, with much classier service and much more comfortable seating arrangement. Overall, a very bad experience on all sides. Moreover, they still charged us full price. We had seen the reviews on tripadvisor, and many warned about bad incidents and overall unpoliteness (almost half of the reviews were between 1-3 stars), but we decided to give it a go anyway, being in the area.
