I'm just going to let the pictures do the talking and give some highlights of our meal. - Great service and ambiance (cozy) - Delicious food (Frutti de mare and pork shank). Both were well prepared and full of flavor - Well priced Definitely not a tourist trap like others in the area.

First time to Rome, first place I eat at. The food is absolutely amazing you can actually close your eyes to eat it's so amazing. My wife and I went twice we go to Rome on Sunday had lunch and went back for dinner the next night. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you want "REAL" Italian food. The staff was very friendly, and remembered us from the previous day. We were given many free complimentary foods which were excellent. The pizza and tiramisu were delicious highly recommended. One thing I will add is we did get a bottle of wine for 15,00€ and later that night went down to the local coop store and found the bottle for 3€. The wine was very good but not worth the huge price gap.

Last day of our 10 day trip in Europe with a group of 19 wonder humans we are leading and we ended up having lunch at Grottino d'Abruzzo. Ordered the Bucatini all's Amatriciana E 9.00. Seriously the best tasting pasta I had the whole trip. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent waiter. Very knowledgeable. Very interesting. Very helpful. Perfect location. Extensive menu. Delicious food. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome, especially if in the Monti area. Will definitely come back when in Rome again.

This has absolutely the best food in Italy [I know it sounds cheesy, but it was the best experience.] The waiters gave us their card two nights before, and were so kind. Two nights later we came back on our very last day, and it did not disappoint. Everyone had great smiles on their faces. We made conversation with the waiters who, I felt like I had known for years. They also gave us a free eggplant and cheekpea marinated in olive oil and white vinegar which was to die for. The spaghetti frutti di mare was loaded with seafood. The pork shank was incredibly tender. -Food is FANTASITC This seemed like a family Italian restaurant with AMAZING servers. I LOVE THIS PLACE! DEFINITELY will be coming back, and I recommend it to everyone.

Doesn't look like much but it's amazing!

This is a small out of the way restaurant for locals. Amazing food and way less expensive than the touristy areas. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

We were lucky enough to grab a table for lunch. We had a margherita, pepperoni, and a burrata with prosciutto pizza. All three were outstanding. The crust, the dough, the toppings - everything tasted fresh and came together perfectly. One of the best, yet simplest meals we've had. They also offer salads, though we didn't try any. The two behind the counter were fun and friendly. They take your order, ask where you're from, and then shout out your location when your food is ready - a really fun touch. Bonus: our table had a USB charging station, which was a really nice surprise while out exploring the city. There's also a small bathroom in the back for customers. This one really hit home. Definitely worth a stop.

Plus, the space is very hot inside, but better to sit near the window or do takeaway. I wasn't very hungry, but wanted one last pizza in Italy. When I saw that this spot does mini pizzas, which means I was able to choose a variety of flavors; I was so excited! Unfortunately, they ran out of the mini pizza dough and only had the large. It really is a shame, because I didn't think the bigger version is worth €15 each. Nonetheless, I ordered the Burrata & Anchovies while the husband got Pepperoni. I really did enjoy the flavor and chewiness of the dough. The burrata also gave it such a nice creaminess to balance the pizza that worked perfectly. Sadly, I had to waste a slice because I couldn't finish the larger pizza, so still a bit upset that I couldn't order the mini. With that said, it's a delicious pizza spot.

We ordered & sipped two glasses of wine outside, then placed a variety of dishes to share while they cleared the table: pasta, two small pizzas, baby octopus, Genovese (stewed beef), Arancino, and more wine/beer. Seating area was very small. I was seated in walk way area and it was a bit busy with people going in and out of restrooms. Ordered Carbonara, Genovese and Aperitivo. I had Carbonara for the first time and I m not a big fan of it. I have to try it again to make sure if it's me or the way the dish taste. Genovese was ok, beef stew was inside of a bread. Aperitivo, I chose spritz which came with refreshing cocktails and three little fried pizza. Overall the food tasted acceptable but wait time for Cabonara was long. It must have been like 30 minutes. I was done eating everything and had to just wait for that. The restaurant was small and this is a classic popular dish. I don't think they should take this long.

( separate menus for tourist with higher prices, plus tourist pays an extra 2.50 euros per person to just be seated, and 4 euros for water) This isn't a high end restaurant to charge 16-18 Eros for a small portion pasta dish, of Carbonara, Fettuccine Bolognese and Penne ala' Sorentina. We were really hoping for things to taste better with a 4.3 rating, especially in Rome. The bolognese sauce had a dirty water tase, the Penne ala' Sorentina sauce was too sweet, and the Carbonara was just okay, portions were just small. Nothing tasted like fresh pasta or sauces. I'm giving them the 2 stars for the Bruschetta, that was on point, the tomatoes were perfectly seasoned. Don't waste your money or time.

Amatriciana had crispy pancetta on top, the best I found this trip. The ravioli was mouthwatering with a sage leave for presentation. Very pleased with our dinner. Reservation made a few hours earlier online. Very easy. But let's highlight the best part, Alfredo. I'm not sure if he is the manager or the owner or just an employee with a lot of heart. But you can tell he loves his job, he loves the restaurant, and he loves the guests. He chatted with each table. Personally delivered our limoncello and check. The food was great, but even if it was average we would still recommend eating here because he was wonderful.
