This week I went to Bloomsburg Staples to mail returns to Amazon…read more While waiting in line I realized I left my phone in my car & needed the QR codes. I turned to the woman behind me and said "my phone is in my car, I'll be right back". I left my cart with 3 pkgs. in it in line. When I came back a minute later I realized she jumped ahead of me so with a puzzled look I asked her "Did you jump the line ahead of me"? Her response was "you left"!?!?! Seriously? As she was going back to her spot behind me an obnoxious fat lady in front of me thought she'd be a smart ass & told the woman she could get in front of her, and so the woman moved to the front of the line now. Mind you, I'm a senior citizen with chronic back pain, I use a cane and a walker and I just had both my hips replaced. I explained this to the woman and it meant nothing to her. So I asked to speak to a manager to explain what just happened. The young "acting manager" listened for half a second before the fat lady jumped in and in a combative tone said "She left the line". When I went on to explain that I didn't leave the line, I went to my car to get my phone & left my cart in line, the manager threatened to "throw us both out"! Her exact words! Why me? Where am I in the wrong here?? So she just let her jump the line while I had to stand there in pain longer than necessary. I thought this was extremely unprofessional and she did not address the issue. She should have kicked them both out! To her credit, she did offer to take me at another register. Today while I was back in the store I decided to speak to the main manager to let her know how this was handled. As I was speaking with her, I could see that every word I said went in one ear and out the other. She just had a blank stare. She made excuses for her acting manager, no matter what I said. She said she was probably busy and had a long line and I told her there was no line in her section but she continued to make excuses Instead of saying, "I'm sorry that you were treated that way and that our manager didn't do anything about it, please accept my apologies on behalf of Staples". Instead she went on to tell me that the other two ladies called her to let her know that the "acting Mng." didn't do anything wrong (in the event I called.) She also said that the "fat lady" told her I "hit the back of her legs" with my cart, which is a complete lie. She probably hit her own fat ass on my cart while backing up to let the other lady in ahead of her and blamed me!!! The "acting manager" as well flat out lied to her superior by saying she told us "if we don't stop she wouldn't wait on us". Uhhh NO, she yelled and I quote "I'll throw you both out"! Due to principal alone, I was compelled to contact the District Manager after that conversation, and he couldn't have been any nicer or more understanding. I'll continue to go to that Staples because it's the only one within 60 miles and because the DM was sincere, understanding, apologetic and said he'd address it. Thanks to the DM, Donnell, I'll continue to be a custome.

Same-day service is not really the same day. In before noon is supposed to be by 6:30 PM, but what…read morethey don't bother to mention is that they lock the doors at 7:00. I ordered online before 10, and I checked the box to notify me by phone when done. Don't count on it. I did receive an automated call at 7:21 PM, well after closing. I'd already stopped by at 7:06 PM. Three others arrived at the same time. All of us expected closing to be at least 8 PM. The boy in the service area wasn't about to budge. Staples' price is ridiculously high for such deceptive policies. I'll leave another review tomorrow when I trek back and actually see the quality.

In my one interaction trying to have something repaired at this establishment I attempted to have…read moremy Apple Macbook Pro repaired on 3/4/17 for a bad hard drive. I was told over a dozen to call back over a two month period by an incredibly rude worker. When I final was told to talk to another employee i was told all that needed to happen was the OS needed to be loaded and that it would take about six hours to do. At this point I told them I would come back at the end of the week. When I returned I was told that it was still being worked on and to call back tomorrow. After another week I came back on a Tuesday because I was afraid that information on my MacBook had been compromised. They assured me that it was not possible. When I asked when it would be finished i was told that it was not started because it keeps getting moved around but it would be finished by the end of the week and that it was at the top of the list. I returned on Friday and during a particularly rude interaction I was given every reason why it wasn't done including the fact that i was talking to him but I was told that it would be done by either Saturday or Monday. When I called on Saturday they told me that it wasn't done once again and to call back on Monday if it wasn't done I could just pick it up. After work on Monday I called again and i was told that he forgot it was Memorial day and to call back on Tuesday. I decided after getting off the phone to stop by and just pick up my MacBook. After yet another rude interaction I was told that I could come back in an hour because it was in pieces and needed to be put back together. When I came back to pick it up I was told that it also had GPU issues and water damage that was not previously mention when a diagnostic was done. He said it could not be in worst condition. Once I got my laptop home and turned it on the hard drive was working just fine. It works a lot slower but it works better than when i dropped it off no thanks to them. That leads me to believe that they did not do a diagnostic in which they would have charged me $25 for but they also would've charged me to replace a part that did not need replacing. If it had not been for there complete failure to complete this repair in a near 3 month period I would have believed them paid and possibly returned. My recommendation based on my experience is to avoid the headache and find a reputable repair center to fix your items unless you like to be disrespected, lied to and have your time absolutely wasted.

I went in for a repair and ended up purchasing a tower that was refurbished by Chris that is much more powerful than the one I was going to repair at literally half the price of the repair quote from another computer business across the river. Glad to see some sharp motivated guys taking some pride in what they do. Center City Repairs has a great vibe to it, and don't make the mistake of thinking it's only laptop/iphone repairs - it is so much more. I'll be going back! - I'm lazy, and I took the time to write a yelp review for crying out loud!
