The staff is mostly Asian and their tone comes off as rude but that's probably the way they are used to speaking. Overall, the massage by Lidi was very good although she did not ask me what level of pressure I like so at some point I felt the air getting knocked out of me. She was also constantly running in and out of the room trying to get things like oil and hot stones without giving me so much of a warning. The massage and hot stone therapy felt really good after a few stressful weeks and Lidi really made an effort to get knots out. Purchased a Groupon, called to ask if I need an appointment, was asked if I could come right then, so I made my way over. As I walk in, the looks exchanged among the staff was certainly uncomfortable when it was made known I had a Groupon. That wasn't necessarily comforting. I was taken to a room and made my way onto the massage table after disrobing. The massage wasn't any better than average, but I was ok with what I paid Groupon for it. TL;DR: I arrived 11 minutes early to my massage, only to be told it was canceled because I failed to respond to a confirmation text sent 4 minutes ago when I was driving. I was handed off to 4 different people, none of whom I could communicate clearly with, and then was accosted in my vehicle as I tried to leave. ------ Wow, where to begin. I called at 6:12pm and was offered an 8pm same-day appointment. I arrived at 7:49pm (11 minutes early to my appointment) and walked to the front counter, where an extremely confused woman struggled to communicate with me for 5 minutes. After repeating I have an 8pm appointment several times, she asks me to sit down on the couch and then approaches me and shoves her phone at me, asking me to talk to the person on the line. The woman on the other end of the call tells me in broken English that they canceled my appointment because they called me to confirm, but I didn't answer their call. I checked my phone records, and to be fair, they did call me to confirm my appointment...at 7:44pm. They called me twice in a row at 7:44pm and then texted me at 7:45pm (receipts attached), and I showed up at their door at 7:49pm. After trying to explain that I could not answer their calls or reply to their text because, obviously, I was driving and showed up 4 minutes later, the woman got frustrated and started yelling to another man in the background. After 30 seconds of listening to them scream back and forth, the woman puts the man on the phone. I again explain to him that I couldn't answer the 2 back-to-back calls and 1 text because I was driving, and he literally said "well, if it was me, I could answer the phone." We go back and forth for a bit, and he holds firm that they don't have anyone available because they gave my spot away to someone else (keep in mind we are still pre-8pm, so it's still before my scheduled appointment, and again, I showed up 4 minutes after they texted me). Finally, I hand the phone back to a man who was lingering around (the woman I originally talked to was nowhere to be found) and leave. The BEST PART is after I've left the store and am literally in my car driving out of the parking lot, the man I handed the phone to comes running up to my moving vehicle, taps my window, and says "okay" and makes a gesture asking me to come back into the store. Unbelievable. My experience is really a shame because I've been to i Foot Spa several times before and always enjoyed my massages. After moving further away, I stopped coming, and this time, I made the 20+ miles/30-minute drive to come back, and this is what happened. read more

I now know why lol... she was giving me a one handed massage while texting the entire time, I could hear the clicking right in my ear. I will start by saying this is the best massage I have ever had! The male and female couple here did an amazing job and I was ready upon packing up to write a five star review and definitely come back. We paid with Groupon for a 60 minute couples massage (30 minute body, 30 minute foot with aromatherapy and hot stones). I told the front desk when we arrived we had a Groupon for Combo 1 (I pointed to the price list). They scanned our Groupon, and we brought enough cash to tip 25%. Unfortunately however, as we tried to leave, we were told we had agreed to do a 60 minute body massage rather than 30 and therefore owed $60 more for the 30 additional minutes ($1 a minute each). This "add-on" is more expensive than the price of the Groupon itself! We had no idea the massage had lasted 90 total minutes and never would have agreed to this given we only brought enough cash to tip. If we were asked if we wanted 30 additional minutes, neither of us heard that nor understood that. The masseuse was understandably very upset but we tried explaining using Google translate that there had been a misunderstanding. She called the business owner and he was very polite and understood the situation--thank you! However, it was a very uncomfortable situation and makes me feel nervous and embarrassed to return. If your staff are planning to upsell on services, it should be done up front in writing. Further, payment should be made up front so customers who have no way of telling how much time has passed are not blindsided by being asked for extra money at the end. I hope that next time the staff will trust customers to *ask* for what they'd like extra--and if someone pays with Groupon, they probably just want the Groupon. read more

I went to this place based off of a Groupon purchase for a couples massage. It was at an extremely reasonable price. Everyone there was very nice, but there was a language barrier. This made it hard to understand what the masseuse was going to do and since I don't get massages often, there were times when I wish that they could have explained what they were about to do (rather than touching me with no warning). I hate to leave this review my massage woman was very kind. However, I treated myself to a massage tonight because I stand on my feet for work all day long and my back and feet hurt- so I came here. The massage lady had her phone on the massage bed and it was vibrating the entire time. She even went as far during the "foot massage" to just rub my leg with one hand the whole time so she can continue texting with her phone on vibrate on the massage bed the whole time. I have been a customer of iMassage in Cedar Park since they opened. I have never had a bad experience. I am pleased that this location is so close to work. I am not easy to work on as I have had 2 spinal fusions. I have terrible muscle spasms daily. I walk about 7 miles daily. The staff is well trained and believe me, they can feel your trouble spots. The atmosphere is basically dead, no sign of activity at all, no pictures on the wall, no tv, no magazines, no soothing music, no a/c. By the time our appointment time came around the patron notifies us around 4:35 that it'll be an extra 20min wait because the person before us came late. I was so happy to see this place open up in my neighborhood. I've been going to other Asian massage places for years but none of them close to home. What I love about this place is that you don't need to make an appointment, they really "get in there" and do a great fully body massage, they are open until 10pm, and it's super reasonably priced. They have a few private rooms with most of the tables and chairs are in a large communal space. They have an ATM in case you forget to bring cash. Make sure to drink a LOT of water afterwards.
