I am writing this review much to my chagrin - Karl may be a great masseuse, but he is a bad business person. I am experiencing back pain due to an injury and booked a massage with Karl based on Yelp reviews. The night before my appointment he text me to say he was no longer available and I would meet instead with Austin (for which there are no reviews). I asked if I could reschedule to a date/time when he had availability and he obliged. I took time off work, arrived for my new appointment and was told that my appointment would be with someone else *and* not for the time I scheduled. I understand mistakes happen, but twice in a row is just poor business practice. I took time off work and then was told my appointment time was changed (without notice). Karl failed to honor any of my appointments, and instead pulled a bait-and-switch and booked me with another masseuse (again, without notice). I would not recommend him nor will I return despite his offer of a future free massage. Evidently he is not a person of his word. read more

Stop looking! Seriously, if you're looking for a deep tissue massage that leaves you lasting benefits, no need to look any further. I'm always a little weary when looking for a massage because I have a little obsession for the study of anatomy and physiology. I know what's just for show, and what will actually get the job done. I'm also weary of getting a massage done by someone of the opposite sex, especially when I've never met them in my life. However, every question or concern I may have had was completely destroyed by the end of my session. Karl made sure to ask me where I was having pain and did not finish until my pain was lessened. I had a really great experience with Karl. I emailed him on Thanksgiving asking if he could possibly squeeze me in within the next day or two. He emailed me back within hours and made it work - I saw him the very next day! (Responsiveness: GOLD STAR!). He has a parking spot on his property for his clients to use, which is great since he's in a slightly congested downtown area. His facility is cozy and very clean. He used lotion, not oil, which I like - I don't like feeling greasy at the end of a massage. The massage itself was great. I have lower back issues and need very strong pressure to relax the muscles down there. Karl literally got up on the table and used his knees to get in there - it was AWESOME. I've had people use elbows before, but not knees. He also did a really great combination massage / stretching routine for pain in the muscles where my tush joins my back, and for my IT bands. It was my first appointment with Karl and I was looking to pamper myself to something extra. I asked about his aromatherapy option but he suggested a salt scrub instead. He said not many people ask for it but encouraged me to try it. It was amazing! From the instant his hands touched my back I could tell I was going to thoroughly enjoy it and I did. I believe it was a mix of salt and oils which he used to skillfully exfoliate my body. I then was able to rinse off and resume with a massage. The difference between the scrub and the massage was unbelievable. It seemed like my skin was fresh and new and allowed his hands to glide across my muscles. His studio is small, warm and relaxing, Not cold or clinical. I FEEL AMAZING AFTER an iMassage Orlando session!!! I've been experiencing severe pain in my left side-neck and shoulder- for about 10 days now probably from not holding up my head correctly during certain exercises. These last ten days i've been adjusted by the chiropractor- no relief. I had two sessions of acupuncture- no relief. The second one, brought some, but still had no full range of motion and couldn't even go running. I tried a massage- nothing. I knew it was bad when my boss noticed my eyes, "you aren't sleeping are you?" I told her of my pain. She recommended an upper back and neck session coupled with a BEMER session.
