I love coming to here and get my nails done faithfully every two weeks. She takes her time and she does a very good job when she's able to freestyle as well. She can follow along with and but if you really let her do her thing just let her freestyle from a photo you give her and she'll take it from there. I'm never disappointed and I always tip good. She deserves it. Also, her husband is well. He's very good with the feet and hands. He's funny and they keep conversation going very comfortable place. Very clean. I enjoy coming in here. FRIENDS, SKIP THIS NAIL SALON AT ALL COSTS!!!! If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. As someone who rarely reviews businesses, trust me when I say that I truly feel the need to share that, in my experience, this salon preys on making your nails brittle, over-charging and then not distributing refunds when SEVERE chipping happens almost immediately. STORY TIME: I received a "dip manicure" from the female nail technician, Anna, and after a little under two days, THIS is what happened (she only did a few thin dips of the powder and then cured it like a gel manicure). So I decided to take time out of my work day to reluctantly go back to the nail salon to request a refund. When I arrived to show the manager on site, which was the male technician, I know he racially profiled me by BASELESSLY and loudly accused me of "partying too hard and breaking a nail" in front of customers. And then he told me that the owner is the "only one who can issue refunds" and wouldn't give me any contact to get a hold of her (of course). So he rudely told me to come back later to get them redone. However, when I begrudgingly came back in to get them redone, he postponed me and said Monday would work best for him to redo my nails. I told him that I can make 10am on Monday work for me. He agreed and rudely waved me away. Come Monday, instead of him honoring the day that HE chose and the time we BOTH agreed upon, he wasted my time by scheduling all of these other nail appointments then, too, and told me to come back SEVEN hours later. A complete disregard for the time I had set aside. After a second postponing I knew he had no intention of redoing my nails. And, frankly, I hated having to come back to INails in the first place to get them redone since, again, they don't distribute refunds, but MOSTLY because the male technician in the shop was skeezy, inappropriate and rude. How? Well, when my friend and I first visited, he wouldn't stop licking and biting his lips in a gross, suggestive manner, all while mentioning how he flirts with clients and says inappropriate things in front of his wife (Anna) because she "doesn't understand English" (!!!!!). I can't make this stuff up - HE LITERALLY SAID THIS IN FRONT OF HER. We at first, nervously laughed it off and kept TRYING move on, but it was just nonstop from this dude. He only decided to stop when white clients came into the shop... God, such gross, icky behavior. If I never have to see this man again, and save some other women from an experience like this, I'll feel accomplished. P.s. I feel the need to mention that if you look at the reviews you're gonna notice photos that depict a decent acrylic nail set, HOWEVER rewarding inappropriate, skeezy men who have a complete lack of integrity is something we can choose to avoid when it comes to getting our nails done, ladies. This experience was... fine. I got a normal pedicure and dip manicure on my natural nails. PRICE: I'm new to the area and just moved from Boston so I'm used to pricey nail appointments but wow this was up there. I couldn't find the prices anywhere so wasn't sure what to expect. When I picked out my color for my nails, the owner told me $45 so once I was already seated and being worked on I knew the amount. This is no big deal- I should have asked ahead of time. CLEANLINESS: I've heard horror stories about pedicures gone wrong so I was shocked to see them just replace the plastic wrap without cleaning the bowl when I sat down for a pedicure. I went at the end of the day so I'm not sure if it always has this feel but the floor needed a good sweep and the stations were covered in dust and grime. Definitely needs a good deep clean and the employees should be wiping everything down more regularly. (Random side note: they were playing fear factor and so I was getting my nails done and watching people eat rat pizza? Definitely not the relaxing experience I was looking for) Now the the most important part- the NAILS: the dip color selection was good and I chose this really beautiful mauve with gold flecks in it. So so pretty and my nail tech did an amazing job! I was really disappointed when I got to work today after only 3 days of wear and the top coat is peeling off. Someone else did the top coat and I wonder if it was the wrong one? I've been getting dip manicures for several years and this has never happened to me. $95 for a manicure that lasted 3 days. The owner finished my nails and was pretty pushy about me leaving a review so here we go. I saw some girls getting fills and acrylics and they looked really great! This is probably one of those salons that works really well for certain things. I would just shy away from getting a pedicure- I certainly won't again. read more

Every time you come they charge you a ridiculous price for your nails whether you're getting a bill or a full set. I tried to get them another chance after I have for nails while I'm off after 2 weeks. And they keep charging the same price for whatever they're doing they're very unprofessional the guy was arguing with me about how I wanted my nails done and how what he was going to do. And then they charged overcharged me for a designs. So I would not go there you will not be happy if you like your nails to look fabulous if you just want some basics stuff you can go there but if you want something that looks extravagant I wouldn't recommend it. read more

I was here with a friend quite awhile ago but I found the service just as wonderful as the previous time. My companion and I arrived at our appointment time (not required though) and were sat down right away. The staff worked efficiently but were attentive to our needs (drinks were offered, checking in to make sure everything was okay, and attention to a small cuticle bleed for my friend). They didn't rush us and they were all around friendly to us and the others who arrived. I'll need a pedicure soon and I will most likely return here! read more

I normally don't leave a negative review on places I have visited but I went in to get my nails done today at 11am. I was soaking my old acrylic for 2 hours while two other people got their nails done. I tried to be understanding considering that it was only three people working and they had a lot of clients. I showed the color and design I wanted to get prior to starting ANYTHING. I was told okay. No other questions asked. I wasn't asked to pick the colors first prior to starting the soaking either so I assumed they'd have the color... 2 hours later, they are ready to do my nails. We got to the color part and they did not have the color I wanted. I decided to adjust to the ones they did and picked out a different design/color. They said it'd be an extra $35 for the design and that I should have been more "detailed" about what I wanted when I showed the picture right when I walked in. I let it slide and decided to pay the extra $35. This was a frustrating experience considering that it took a whole 3 hours to get my nails done, I did not get the design I wanted, my middle finger on the right hand is longer than the middle finger on the left, and payed $100. Decided to stop in on my way home today, needing a gel fill. Wow I wish I had waited! Found this place on yelp and am extremely disappointed. The nail tech was not wearing gloves! (Gross) his nails were too long and hurt while he did my nails. He cut me multiple times while filing them down and didn't apologize once or take money off even when he noticed the blood. My nails do look good ok but the place smelled like death and rubbing alcohol. I wanted to vomit and should have just turned around. The tools and tables and everything were dirty with old nail polish residue. I do not recommend this place. I was there for over an hour and a half for something that should've taken 40 minutes. A good sign to leave would've been the fact there was no one in there and no one calling. The establishment was so quiet I could hear the clock ticking. Nails were good I won't lie. However the service was the craziest thing I've ever experienced. The man doing everyone's nails made numerous racist comments hoping everyone would agree with him. Commented about my race and my friends races and the way we looked. Crossed a lot of lines and was nice to us but rude to other customers while we were there. Went with my friend while we were in town. The nail tech didn't apply her dip polish correctly, broke her real nail, and made her nails look bad. She decided before leaving to return and have him fix it which he was rude about. She then got them removed two days later from how poorly they looked and instead of them becoming jelly like when soaking them in acetone the glitter dip polish fell right off her nails. I called the salon and the nail tech claimed the owner was out of town for two weeks. I would not recommmend this place and would suggest finding a more professional, customer-friendly place in Madison, Wi. read more

I've been getting my nails done off and on for many many years ... These lovely people know what they are doing ... and from what I saw are efficient and talented artists. In addition to wearing these nails for years I also used to apply them for my friends. There is a lot of practice and skill required to do so. I recently had a devastating and stressful event in which I nearly destroyed my poor fingers from sheer stress ... they looked just awful. And Tammy fixed them ... if you could have seen them you would understand. I can take my gloves off without feeling embarrassed and well ... weak ... for chewing my fingers down to nothing. I will say they wete definitely thorough....i was there for quite awhile getting a mani/pedi. Glad i didn't have anywhere to be. I was nicked twice and bled. My polish is already chipped and smeared from normal wear...less than 24 hours. I have a couple big red marks on one leg from too "vigourous" a scrub massage. My heels are tender from the same over-enthusiasm with the scraper thing. It was $50 for the mani-pedi....most places offer a deal for the combo and i was very surprised to hear the price. The new guy running this place threw me under the bus when he did a terrible job on my nails and when i came in after calling to get them fixed two days later he acted like he didnt understand why i was upset. I told him i didnt want them done that way, he did only one dip layer and then covered them with 5 layers of cheap clear so they peeled off! These are not supposed to peel! They cost $50 for heaven sake! So i paid for the dip and got cheap crap... so when i called to come in and he asked who did it .. i said you and he hung up on me. When i went in another customer thought i wad being rude to him when i said no i wouldnt wait 2 hours. He let her think that the whole time i was there! I will not be back. Go for the reflexology pedicure. It's long, as it takes about an hour and forty five minutes but it is so incredibly relaxing and worth the time. all staff are very nice and I'm really glad I found this place. I always bring my own polish so I can't rate on selection, but tools are always very clean. read more

My friend and I decided to get a Pedicure and came upon this salon. When we arrived, there weren't any other customers there. They do have a very large selection of different color nail polish to choose from. We found it a little odd that one of the techs was wearing gloves, and the other was not. They do spend a lot of time, and do have good attention to detail. My tech accidently cut me a little bit, which he was apologetic for. Before he started the nail polish, he squirted something over my toes (rubbing alcohol perhaps?) which just about made me scream when it hit my cut. When it came to the foot massage/leg rub, it was not pleasant at all. The tech put an exfoliating scrub on my legs, and rubbed my legs for what seemed like forever. It wasn't really a massage, it felt like they were trying to rub multiple layers of skin off my legs! When it was all done, I was pleased with the way that my feet looked, but it was not a relaxing experience. I will likely not go there again. read more
