When I went to pick it up they were beyond honest and said that my charge port was just dirty but I did need a new battery. They saved me over 20 dollars. First upon arrival the place is very sketchy looking with nothing on the door but a hung up banner that was half falling down. When I walked in, I thought there was no employee but as I approached the counter I realized that the employee was dead asleep in the chair. This was in the middle of the day. I wasn't sure if I should try waking him up, so I walked back out and back in to trigger the sound of the door alarm. They don't take any form of card payment, only cash app, Zelle, or cash (definitely not suspicious at all). I didn't get a receipt and I had to ask the employee if he needed my information so that he could call me when it was ready. He seemed flustered and said it was his first day. I'm assuming the fact he just woke up didn't help. I called the owner about two hours in to ask for an update and he said it would be ready in 20 minutes. When he got to the store it was in fact not ready and took an additional 20 minutes. When I got the tablet back, the screen was "fixed" but the iPad did not work when trying to touch it. We brought it back in for the employee to say it was a "defective part". We had to wait an additional three hours for it to be corrected. I will say the owner was responsive via phone calls and yelp but that is the only positive I found. The price point is low, but there are competitors in the area that charge similar rates, I would recommend looking into those.

I…read moreappreciated that when I first called to see if it was even worth repairing my phone, the technician (Jordan) walked me through the triage to diagnose the repair needs, and the cost of each step. When I arrived at the store, he looked at my phone and gave me a more detailed understanding of each step, and which components might be affected, and gave me enough information to know at which point we would fully repair the phone or fix it enough to salvage data and replace it, or not bother and save my money for a replacement. I felt well informed and knew that I would not be stuck with more costs than would be worthwhile. In half a day, Jordan called to tell me what the damage was and had my phone fully repaired and in better shape than it has been in years. Kind and informative communication with the customer, providing transparent costs of repairs for decision-making, and expert workmanship makes CPR an EXCELLENT repair store!
