This place was recommended by a few friends so it was a no brainer to me at that point. I smashed my screen(6splus) as I thought I was super cool to not have either screen protector nor a case of any kind on my phone for the very first time(yeah real cool)! Ok ok so anyway I called around & either the price was over $100 or just seemed shady. After being referred by friends,getting an $85 quote by phone I crossed my fingers that I wouldn't get ripped off,my main frame hacked into,identity stolen and my precious photos sold on the black market to creepies across the world! To my surprise it was fantastic! To the point,friendly,knowledgeable,fast & most importantly fair. There's a 90day warranty on screens & batteries that I know of for sure but I believe it's all parts/services(double check).If they aren't super busy he can get it done while you wait but don't expect it. Avg wait time otherwise is about an hour & if you have an old version of the same phone,charge it and take out the sim & well...USE IT! If you don't then be thankful to be free of it for an hour because it's extremely sad how attached we are to our devices(yes me too)! I hope this helps & as of this review I've smashed my screen again because you guessed it ...I was way too cool for a case but hey at least I had a screen protector on that didn't help other then not allowing my screen to completely fall apart into glass dust. Smart Cell Repair does not stand behind their professed, "90 day warranty". Printed on the receipt "All returns have a 25% restocking fee 14 day return policy, for all purchases, backed by a 90 day warranty..." the complete terms and conditions of the "Repair Policy" are not fully printed on the receipt and not provided to the customer. My daughter had the cracked screen of her iPhone replaced at this shop on April 20th. About a week ago, she placed her phone on the counter for the night to charge, still in the OtterBox defender case. No one used or touched it. The next morning we noticed a hairline crack in the screen. Due to busy schedules and all of the panic happening lately, she was unable to immediately take it back and the crack seemed to worsen. When she took it back today, she was told by the owner's brother, that she did not meet the "conditions of the warranty" because there were "no pieces or chunks of glass missing" yet the conditions of the warranty were never specified, as to what was and was not included. How convenient that she did not meet these unstated "conditions." In addition, the receipt states that the purchaser agrees "to the terms and conditions of Smart Cell Repair, LLC Manufacturer Warranty" of which were also never provided. I guess this is the loophole they utilize in order to appear to be an ethical business and warranty their repairs and materials. When that is not the case. I've had 5 cracked screens repaired here, Fast service - it has never taken more than 1 hour. Initially I was skeptical because they quoted me the lowest prices in town - but after giving them a try this has become my go to shop for any type of phone repair. Highly recommend this small shop for smart phone repairs. I took my iPhone 5S in because it would not charge. $50 and 30 minutes later a new receptacle was installed and the phone was fixed. Nice people, great service, and reasonable prices. read more

These guys have been great I have a Samsung 7 and they fixed it a couple times very reasonable very competent then when I had other problems they actually advised me as to how I could fix it myself since it was an easy fix I highly recommend these guys read more

My experience with Smart Cell Repair was not a very good one. The only reason I elected to do a repair here is because of the price to repair my phone, and the reviews Smart Cell repair received. I am surprised that no one says that when you bring your phone to Smart Cell repair, you will not receive any material outlining the repair and agreement. There is nothing showing any kind of warranty on the repairs done there. Everything is verbal and nothing is written. When I asked Andre about the warranty, he told me that I can come to him with any issues I may have. He said "I am not SHYSTER" so I should not worry. I let Andre repair my phone. The LCD screen on my phone needed a repair, and Andre used and LCD screen from a phone almost like mine. When I got the phone back, I asked "Does everything work?" He said yes. I then wanted to test the phone, and so I made a test call to the phone with Andre answering that he could "HEAR ME", so I paid, thanked Andre and left. When I brought the phone home, I tried to make a call and I found the speaker was not working as I could not hear anything. I returned the next day which takes nearly an hour to get there. Andre realized that he had forgotten to install the speaker in the phone. I made no big deal because he is human. I do take issue the fact that we did test the phone in the store and he said he heard me. I did give Andre the benefit of the doubt and assumed he said this because we were in the same room when I did the test. Andre did install the speaker, and I left. I would have tested the phone there, but I needed to be somewhere at a certain time and left right away. Then I once again tried to make a test phone call and every party I tried to call could not hear me, but I could hear them. I once again traveled almost an hour to get to Smart Cell Repair, and this time Andre believed the issue was with the LCD he used and he wanted to order the correct one. I left my phone with him again and he did get the LCD. Finally when I did get the phone everything was working, and I was happy. Now the LCD had started to black out about a month or two later, but then it would work. Now it does not work at all. I contacted Andre by text as his voicemail suggests, and I let him know what was going on. We had been discussing the issue. I explained to Andre that I have spent enough money on my phone, and I needed to know if since this happened in less then six months, would the repair be a warranty repair? Just one simple question, and now I get no response. I have tried calling and have sent text after text. I thought well maybe Andre is on vacation, but someone I know texted him, and did get a response right away. I would just go there, but I don't want to go there just to find out Andre wont cover a repair he did less then 6 months ago. I have spent money, time, and lots of fuel. I overlooked all the trips I have had to make back and forth 1 hr on something that should have been done in one trip. Now I am being ignored on top of that. So there are no receipts, no paperwork, and no communication when you need help afterwards. This is very unprofessional. read more
