I have taken my shih tsu / yorkie mix here for awhile. Reasonably priced, close to home and nice people. Why the one star? They only know how to shave her down. No matter what, that is it. So I save some money on grooming because it is about 3 months before she needs another shave down. This last time they had a new person that I made an appointment with for a face trim, nails and my dog's back end. I repeated it twice what I wanted done. She clipped her nails in a back room and then I had to ask her to trim her face. She claimed she didn't know what I wanted. When I brought my dog home I noticed she didnt do her back end either. I then called to say what wasnt done again. Same response. Not professional. Don't make excuses. Apologize for the error and make amends. Since they couldn't be professional and own up to the error I will now find someone that actually does professional grooming read more

This groomer provides mixed messages to her clients. On numerous occasions I asked this groomer if our dog was too difficult for her. Each time she reaasured me that wasn't the case and he was welcome back. The day of his last grooming with her which was scheduled 6 weeks ahead, she called and left a message saying she was looking forward to seeing him the next day. On the day of the appointment I walked in only to have her ask if I had made an appointment elsewhere. Then she refused to groom our dog leaving him stranded without a cut. If she were professional she could have just stated that she wasn't capable of handling our dog instead of leaving us stranded. read more

Fluff was absolutely incredible with our boy. He is 15 months old and a German shorthaired pointer (high energy breed) puppy. I thought for sure they were going to call us within 15 minutes of us dropping him off and tell us to come get him . I brought my newly rescued cat there for a bath and a groom. There was approximately a two week wait for the appointment, and I spoke to someone twice prior to the appointment about the bath. Upon receiving a call that my cat was finished, I questioned how the bath went and was told he didn't get one. I was also told he didn't need to be groomed, and he was just brushed, his ears cleaned, and his nails clipped. The main reason for me taking him in was because he hadn't been bathed in a very long time, if ever. I waited two weeks and now I have to take him somewhere else to be bathed anyway. If I had known that they were going to refuse to bathe him, I would have gone elsewhere to begin with. read more

I run a foster-based dog rescue in New Castle & I've been bringing my rescued dogs to Beth for several years. There are several grooming salons closer to me but none who are as kind & gentle with my rescued dogs as Beth is. Most of my dogs come out of KY & they are often filthy, sometimes abused, sometimes very shy, often have never even HAD a bath their whole lives but Beth makes them feel safe & cared for every time! The first time they come they are always nervous but should they need to return months later they walk back into her salon without any fear. My mom takes her pets there LV and Bella, today I drove over there to pick them up and they looked beautiful,the man that works there brought them out for her and I was so impressed at how clean and groomed the looked,he even put cute scarfs around their neck and clipped their nails,it was very sweet and kind of them,my mom is elderly and not able to brush them properly,she does take good care of them in every other way but thanks to Fluff they got the care and attention they desperately needed,I really appreciate the hard work and loving care care they gave LV and Bella,I would highly recommend them and never go anywhere else.I didn't ask the owner his name but hopefully I will meet him again and tell him in person how much I appreciate him and the woman that works there,I hope they get the credit they deserve for working so hard. read more

We have been bringing our old 5lb toy yorkie here for about a year, (we took her in after my husbands parents passed) Mike the groomer has been doing a great job. We bring Nikki in today, explain what we want and leave. When my husband brings home her face wasn't done and her cut is crooked. My husband says the guy wasn't there. I call and speak to Beth, she says they couldnt get her face short because she kept jerking her face, I ask if Mike is there because I watched how Mike would hold her chin and how efficient he was with Nikki. (Mind you Nikki is also 13 years old and has no teeth) I guess Beth doesn't understand managing customer expectations because if she said that when we dropped off we wouldn't be so frustrated now. So by the end of the conversation with Beth I was told she is not giving me my Money back and I should take my asshole dog to another groomer. Now if I could just find where the really good groomer Mike went because it obviously isn't her. read more

This groomer sliced my dog's eye open a few years ago and then denied it. She's a menace. When my dad picked Bonnie up from Fluff, she was shaking violently. He thought she was just scared from being groomed, but then he realized something was obviously wrong and pulled over. That's when he noticed that her eye was oozing fluid. He took her to the vet immediately and they confirmed that Bonnie's eye had been cut open, most likely from a blade. My dad called Fluff and the woman denied everything. She said she didn't do anything wrong and that was that. Bonnie completely lost sight in her left eye and it pained her until she died, especially as she got older. My dad didn't pursue legal action because the damage was already done. Bonnie would never get her sight back again. For the love of God, please do not take your pets here. read more

I have been searching for several years for a professional grooming establishment that truly cares for the animals and also takes pride in their workmanship. It has been a long search; however, I believe Beth and Michael at "Fluff Pet Salon & Boutique" fill the bill perfectly! I have two Poodles, a Toy and a Miniature, after their last experience at another establishment they came home stressed and looking like fugitives from a shearing contest! I had to wait twelve weeks before they could be groomed again. After talking with Beth and Michael and discussing the type of cut desired; I left Snickers and Daisy in Michael's capable hands. Three hours later, I returned to collect two happy and nicely groomed puppies! We will be back. I highly recommend their capable, caring and reasonably priced services. read more

Yesterday (Saturday) dropped my puppy off at 9am and picked him up around 1 or 2. He looks great! The gentleman has done a great job! He has cleaned his ear, cut his nails, gave him a bath, groomed his hair exactly as we wanted. Highly recommended! read more

Have been taking our dog here for 2 years, maybe longer. Our dog was always afraid to be carried into our previous groomer - not here! They do a good job, return calls (to schedule appointments) quickly, and are reasonably priced. (All of which wouldn't matter if my dog appeared to be scared or upset when I drop her off & pick her up - she's not.) These folks like dogs, and it shows. read more

We use to have a long relationship however, when my wife called to have one of her cats groomed all of sudden she claims she doesn't groom cats anymore. Might as well have slammed the door in our face. Extremely rude and abrupt on the phone . Extremely ungrateful attitude. Positively cannot recommend this person. It is no wonder she cannot find reliable help. Unstable perhaps. Would not trust her with my pets now in any case. Should be closing shop soon we would think. Go at your own risk but please...please don't take your pet with you. I would never bring another dog to this salon. The owner was visibly and verbally frustrated at my poodle's barking when I picked her up. She said next time she will do my dog first so I can pick her up right away. This is the first time this has ever happened in years of grooming. She usually only barks when she sees me, but this day was different. She was trembling and couldn't wait to get out of there. I left with a very bad feeling that something terrible happened. When I got home, my poodle was exhausted and slept all day. While she slept I checked her paws and saw that one of her nails was completely missing! The owner never mentioned this to me. An impatient, easily frustrated groomer is not what I want, therefore, I severed our relationship with this salon. It has taken me a year to write this review because I am just now getting over my baby's passing from a year ago and can write about it. Be very careful who you leave your pet with. People are not always as they seem when you're not there. read more
