The service is absolutely deplorable, not to mention the manner in which they didn't mind sending my dogs home. Purely filthy as if they have been in a horse stable for several days! Accountability is not their strong suit and neither is taking care of dogs while they're under their care. Where do I even begin!?!? Let me Istart with the main issue which was they sent one of my dogs home with fecal matter embedded on his behind. They claim he had diarrhea on Saturday, but never told us about it or mentioned any issues with the dog upon pick up. Let it be noted that I have never seen diarrhea, thick and chunky like this ever in my life. It simply slipped their mind to tell my husband that the dogs were under distress and had diarrhea, but please bear in mind that they surely didn't forget to collect the payment from us. What's most disappointing is when this was pointed out to them after calling on four different occasions, and sending one email through their portal in a matter of a day. They were unapologetic and simply didn't care about any of my concerns and tried to say that the dogs were not friendly towards people which I know to be false when we have had them under the care of other doggy daycare's on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, the one the one we go to was booked for the time frame we needed, so which forced us to give this place a try. Once I mentioned this fecal matter, I was told they were also not friendly to the people there and they were scared to clean them. The next thing I was told is that they tried to clean them, but they didn't want to get bit. You would think I brought full grown aggressive dogs there. Please bear in mind that they are 8 and 35 pound cavapoos and we have never heard this from anyone a day in our life. They are sweet dogs that are friendly, and if they don't feel like being bothered, they stay to themselves, but never are aggressive in any manner. The next thing they went on to say was that they did not like the dogs and we're not friendly to them either. Once I mentioned how disgustingly filthy our dogs were, then I was met with oh they played with the dogs all day and that's why they were so filthy, when just moments ago, you advised that they didn't like any of the dogs and were not friendly to them. If you're going to lie, please remember your lies before you tell another one that totally contradicts the last one. Yes, the manager could care less, but these are the owners that I'm speaking about which is even more deplorable! It likely was difficult to remember since the entire time the owner was discussing and asking for insight with someone else while we were on the phone, as if she cannot speak on her own. Needless to say, my dogs will never be back to this facility and I hope to educate other people on this place and that is in their best interest to find somewhere else to take their pets while they're on vacation! I spent an hour and a half cleaning both dogs thoroughly and trying to get the fecal matter off of the one dog and used an entire bottle of shampoo. To sum this up, The Customer Service is poor, care and attention that they put on the animals is poor, the accountability aspect is poor and rather than saying, our dogs are not people friendly dogs, they should look at themselves because they are definitely not in the right business to provide customer service to paying customers and try to assist customers when they have an issue that their establishment caused. Just to give you a visual of what we experienced when we picked up our dogs, I have attached pictures. I'm sure anyone would agree that that it doesn't have to be a baby to be entitled to a clean environment and a clean body. This is an extremely upsetting state to send a pet home in. They deserve to be treated kindly and taken care of while their owners are away. This was truly a disgrace and they are super unprofessional.

I used to live on a farm and Jamie would live at the farm while we were away. Now that we've downsized, my dogs usually stay at Training Aces but Jamie still feeds the birds and waters my plants. My dogs LOVE going to Training Aces! They run right over to the gate, tails wagging. Last year, I had to be away for a month. I was very upset thinking about leaving my guys for that long. I shouldn't have worried! Being with Jamie is like being at home for my pups. They laze on the sofa, sleep in Jamie's bed, and have the run of the spacious fenced-in yard. They have other dogs to play with and they all get along. Jamie even sent regular updates and photos. Trust Jamie and Training Aces to give your pet the excellent care they deserve!

Pictures of her playing with a Chi Chua Chua are too cute. But, there were two behavior problems we couldn't fix on our own. The first is that she could go from zero to ten in excitement level seemingly in a split second. When someone came to the door, this docile sleepy girl would bark and run out of control full speed from one end of the house to the other. A 130 pound dog running out of control is a recipe for disaster for grandkids and adults and houses alike. The second problem was though she responded very well to "come" when in the house, it was a different story when off leash at the dog park. We'd say "come" and she would look over her shoulder as she continued on her own merry way. Jamie came to both our home and to our dog park so that he could observe my wife's and my own behavior as well as observe first hand the behavior of our dog. He spent time watching and asking questions. He gave us homework to do between visits. And he thoroughly explained why he gave us the assignments he did so that we would understand why we were doing what we were doing. In addition to home visits, we at one point boarded our dog with Jamie for three days and Jamie used that time to continue and reinforce the training. Now we have the dog that we never in our wildest dreams thought we'd have. When the grand kids are here, (3 yrs & 6 yrs.) she can usually be found lying down maybe 7 or 8 feet away. When their toys are all over the floor, she ignores them. When they're eating at their own kid sized picnic table (right about chin level for the dog) she goes no where near them. And when they pet her, she just stands there and wags her tail. Her biggest fault with them now is to give an unexpected and uninvited sloppy kiss! When the doorbell rings, I simply have to say "hey," and she quiets right down. When guests enter the home she's not permitted to run up and greet them. Only after everyone is in and settled do I let her know that she can now greet them calmly. Now at the dog park, life is good. When I say "come" she stops whatever she's doing and comes. Even if she's in the midst of playing with one of her dog friends, she comes. To avoid any escalation, I've called her away from an unfriendly and snarling dogs, and she responds instantly to my command to "come". Sometimes she's off and sniffing something and then discovers that we're now maybe 50 yards ahead of her and she comes a running! And we're now at the point that there are no treats or rewards for obeying, other than a quick pet and a "good girl!" Jamie gave us the dog we dreamed about but never really thought we would have. Jamie is knowledgeable, patient, insightful, very skillful, and caring. He has certainly found his niche as a dog trainer. We would recommend Jamie and Training Aces, NJ without reservation.
