The put in a lot of work and it is worth it to go see a bout, even if you are new to the sport. I went to their latest bout (a game in derby lingo) at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Such a great venue. And these ladies put up a good fight against a higher ranked opponent. The RCR girls are working their way up the rankings of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association and in a few years will be one of the better teams out there. So go see a bout and if you like it talk to one of the girls about joining. They are very accepting and you will have a blast.
