They approach you and milk all of your data out of you. They then provide an offer and want your ID and bank verification. They do not use third-party software to mask your accounts, etc. They want you to allow them access to your bank accounts. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I had to report fraud to my bank and lock my credit down through Experian.

I explained I was not interested in them and would not apply because information was shotgunned out. This person, I believe Anthony, did not want to listen that I was not interested. He asked for my email and I gave it to him and hung up. I did some basic research that showed they were just another predatory business funding company. I deleted his email which went to my spam folder anyways. I then got 2 phone calls on August 20th from him and then 2 again on August 21st. The second phone call on the 21st he called from a private number so I answered it because sometimes clients call from a blocked number. Anthony, I believe, asked when I was going to submit my bank statements and application. He still would not listen when I stated I told him on the 19th that I was not interested and that I was not interested now. I said I would not apply. He asked if we were still looking for funding and I said yes, but we will go through known and reputable funding businesses. I said I will not apply with Olympus and stated that a basic search showed they are like any other predatory lender. He tried to ask how long did I serve at which point I just hung up the phone, he clearly did not care that I would not fund with Olympus and was trying everything except listen and kept trying to talk me in to sending them my sensitive banking information. Their lack of ability of listening combined with being shady and calling from a private number to trick me in to answering showed the real unprofessional nature of Olympus Business Funding Again today the 22nd of August from Anthony calling from a +11 number. I explained I had spoken to him the last many day I said I will not fund with Olympus Business funding and he juat says again Ill try you another time, I tried to say I don't need you to try another time, he hung up. Without their help and their constant follow-ups I would have not been able to secure the loan and keep my company afloat. Sometimes it was tough with the calls but at the end of the day we got it done. My experience felt like a long process but there was clarity at the end of it and I would recommend them based of customer service alone.

John explained that Cliffco does not offer HELOCs and instead recommended a cash-out refinance. After giving it considerable thought and doing my own research, I decided to move forward with the cash-out refinance based on his recommendation. On February 4, 2026, I provided all of the requested documentation, as well as every follow-up document requested afterward, in a timely manner. Based on my income, credit, and the fact that I owned my residence outright with no existing mortgage, I was under the impression that I qualified for the refinance. I was also advised, and independently confirmed through my own research, that a cash-out refinance would typically take approximately 30-45 days to complete. Today is August 8, 2026--six months after submitting my documentation--and I still do not have a resolution. At this point, I have completely lost confidence in the process and am extremely disappointed with my experience. I feel that I have spent an unreasonable amount of time, energy, and money trying to get this loan processed. There was very little proactive communication or follow-up from the bank. Most, if not all, of the follow-up came from me. When additional information was requested, I provided it, only to encounter what often felt like unnecessary or excessive requests that further delayed the process. Waiting six months for something I was told could take 30-45 days has been extremely frustrating. I believe I have been more than patient throughout this process. I am also a licensed real estate agent and have referred clients to Cliffco Mortgage Bankers in the past who were seeking financing. I have received mixed feedback from some of those clients, but I never expected to have such a negative experience myself--especially considering that I felt I had established a good rapport with the loan officer. Unfortunately, this experience has completely changed my opinion of Cliffco Mortgage Banker. Based on what I have personally experienced, I will not use or recommend Cliffco Mortgage Bankers in the future. To anyone considering using this company, I strongly encourage you to do your research, ask detailed questions about the expected timeline and communication process, and consider your alternatives before moving forward. No other loan company I worked with did this, and so I had a lower credit score than I should have had when I locked in my rates with another company. This may have caused some monetary damages to me and I may be paying a higher rate on my mortgage because of them.
