IB Dream Design is one of the most unprofessional contractors that I have ever worked with. They missed multiple appointments to bid my job and not only did not show up, but also did not call until the next day to let us know. I mean, who does that? I waited for hours and they never came; they never called, despite me having spoken with the owner directly multiple times. When they finally showed up, they suggested to do work without permits and did not want to offer their bond or insurance. The whole experience was beyond shady and inconsistent, and I regret wasting all of that time on people who don't take their customers seriously. Everyone deserves better than this! Why are you even advertising your services when you don't care to fulfill them properly? Stay away from them if you want to get your work done on time, or if you ever hope to pass inspection. My bathroom drain wasn't working. It was from 1969 the drain pipe was rusting closed. David and Itzik came out and gave me options. I decided to do a complete remodel because the pipes were in a slab floor. They accompanied me at the tile store and started the demo the next day. I was having company and they promised to complete before they arrived. They did accomplish that. They were Attentive to details. Replaced boards that had been eaten by termites. They always cleaned up after each part of the job and even sang as they worked. Payments were in 4 parts. Only after each job was complete was a payment due. They had a couple things to follow up and they came back and finished them. I would definitely recommend this company they are really nice and do good work. read more

I was searching for a contractor to help me remodel my guest bathroom. I wanted to keep some of the fixtures, the toilet and the bathtub and use a shower curtain. I also needed the outside of my house painted and have stone veneer installed at the front of the house where the stucco was peeling. Not all contractors are alike. In my search for a contractor, I discovered that good contractors are hard to find. For some, I could tell they considered my job too small for them to bother. When I called IB Dream Design, they answered the call immediately and scheduled an appointment for them to come see my project. When David arrived, I knew I liked him immediately. He was very personable, showed a genuine desire to understand what I wanted and accepted my wishes to keep my fixtures, toilet, bathtub and not have shower doors installed. He was great at giving suggestions, some of which I took and others I did not. He had no hard feelings about me not accepting some of these suggestions and respected my tastes. He accompanied me to home improvement stores to assist in picking out the tile for the bathtub area and for the vanity countertop. He gave me suggestions on the stone veneer and paint color to use as an accent color for the outside of my house. Later, I met the co-owner of IB Dream Design, Isaac, whose goal was to ensure the customer experience was exemplary. Isaac sold me on replacing my Formica kitchen countertop to match the new bathroom vanity countertop and to replace my chipped and cracked tile and dusty carpet with a new vinyl strip wood-looking flooring throughout my house. During this three-week project, both David and Isaac came either together or separately to inspect the work of their crew. Isaac was keen on seeing things that needed adjusting or fixing and communicated these tasks to the working team. I had ordered knobs for the new bathroom vanity that was scheduled to arrive after the entire project was completed. David made sure the working crew came back to install the knobs on the vanity doors and drawers and to touch up areas that I found during my cleaning process. Even though my project was a smaller project than a complete home remodel, the working crew came every day to my project. They stayed working on my project to the end and did not work on other projects during this time. They were completely dedicated to my project. I had asked this question when considering IB Dream Designs, and David assured me that once the project began, the working crew would continue until the end without breaks in between. And that is exactly what I experienced. I would like to commend Melvin and his crew who have been nothing but kind, considerate and courteous. They respected the work site as being my home, there was no foul language or any disrespect at any time. They worked so well together. Often, I heard them singing while they worked. This is a great sign that they enjoy what they do and who they work for. IB Dream Design has many working crew teams that are dedicated to just IB Dream Design.
