You select your vanities, the sink-tops, faucets, mirrors, towel bars... everything you need. Kiki seems to have an encyclopedic knowledge of the sizes that each vanity is available in, what is in stock and what is sold out, even part numbers. We walked around and picked out everything but toilets for our bathrooms... with Kiki by our side... and she remembered everything without even taking a note! Amazing. We needed to change one vanity and one vanity-top, so I called a day after our visit, and Kiki remembered our order and made the change, and everything was ready for pickup the next day. On June 8th I happened to park in front of their establishment outside of business hours on the public street. If I had parked in their parking lot they would have a legitimate reason for me to leave. But I was on City property and their authority ends at the property line. The only restriction would be the posted parking limitations, which I was well outside of. At 11pm at night, I had a visit from their guard politely asking me to leave while on PUBLIC PROPERTY. Apparently, I was "threating" their establishment when I was minding my own business on the City street. I understand the need for security, but they had no authority to force someone off public property. I don't fault the guard as he was only doing what he was ordered to do, and I didn't want to argue (even though I was in the right legally), but they need to learn that they don't have limitless authority in front of their establishment. I'm not a contractor, nor in the market for remodeling, but if I were looking for tile I'm going to go elsewhere. If they are going to be paranoid about someone legally minding his own business, I wonder what their mental state would be if I were to come in as a customer.

Elit Tile's return policy is meaningless if they can simply invent new restrictions after taking…read moreyour money. My experience with Elit Tile began with them failing to deliver the order I paid for. I purchased 8 pieces of tile, but their vendor only shipped 6 pieces. I had to discover their mistake myself. Had I not counted the order, I would have left with an incomplete purchase. Later, they actually tried to use the cost of correcting their own shipping mistake as a reason to deny my return. After bringing the completed order home, I realized the tile did not match my existing flooring. I immediately contacted Joy Lee and requested a return while the tile was completely unused. Here's the problem: at no point before my purchase did Joy Lee tell me that returns supposedly depended on vendor approval or that orders under four boxes could not be returned. That alleged restriction was never disclosed in the store and does not appear anywhere in my sales paperwork. Only after I requested a return did Joy Lee suddenly claim that the vendor would not approve it because the order was under four boxes. That completely defeats the purpose of having a return policy. If customers are never told about these restrictions until after they pay, then they don't have the information necessary to make an informed purchasing decision. Instead of standing behind what was represented at the time of sale, Elit Tile relied on an undisclosed vendor policy that was never communicated beforehand and refused to accept responsibility. My tile was unused, my return request was made promptly, and yet I was simply told the matter was "closed." If you're considering purchasing from Elit Tile, ask for every return restriction in writing before you hand over your credit card. Otherwise, you may discover after the sale that the return policy you thought you had doesn't actually apply.
