During the first walk around, we felt confident in what would be done. And there was a lot to do. His team did an outstanding job. They knew what they were doing and it showed. The tape jobs alone, having to put it up, paint around it, and then cover the new paint to paint the next section (we had three different colors applied) happened so smoothly. It was like watching a dance. Every detail, from start to finish, including cleaning up, was perfect. And speaking of color! Bill sent Julie of JC Color and Design to help pick new colors. I wanted a subtle update. A facial, not a facelift. Colors that would look like they'd always been there, but brand new. Perfection. Absolute perfection. Julie knew exactly what I was seeing in my head, only better. She recommended the 3rd color, a deep brown for the trim and the two sets of patio doors, the latter having been white. What a difference. They're no longer just there, they're eye catchers. Best of all, if it could be any better, which it can, Bill has amazing connections. He knew someone who would stain my front door. He also knew someone who could install (and service!) a new gate opener. It was such a relief to finally get this done! They needed to stand on their word. Old school. IHC Painting is owned by Ike Harris and his son Joe. They came out and took the time needed to go over the scope of work. They explained everything that they would do in minute detail. I expressed my reluctance towards just about everything based on our last experience with 'professional' painters. They were kind, understanding and very reassuring. They provided us with a VERY detailed bid which outlined exactly what they were going to do. They were not the least expensive, but they did provide a competitive bid, which we accepted. The entire job was to take 2-3 weeks. PAL Painting floated to the top based on their Yelp rating and their competetive bid and also being local to our location in Chandler. Once we selected our color scheme and got approval from the HOA, the guys at PAL got to work. The house was given a proper power wash first, then the painting started a couple days later. Adam, Nevada, along with Bernie the job foreman, and the rest of the crew, did outstanding and professional work completing the job very timely. As the painting progressed, an issue on our roof came up due to a past microburst that swept through the neighborhood that we were aware of but had not yet addressed. Nevada assessed the issue and quoted a very reasonable fix and completed the fix along with his son, and now our roof looks and functions better and we are ready for anything the monsoon season throws at us.
