After receiving four quotes, we chose them based on a recommendation and initial confidence during our consultation. Unfortunately, our experience quickly became disappointing. We met in February and scheduled a start date of March 11. We were told someone would contact us the week prior to confirm paint colors, but we never received a call and had to follow up ourselves. On day one, the foreman did a walkthrough and said they would start upstairs. Only minimal prep work was completed on two bedrooms before the crew left early, promising to return the next morning. Day two was even more concerning. Only one worker showed up, the foreman was absent, and prep work was still incomplete by midday. We also observed workers frequently leaving to vape. I will say the project manager was responsive and communicative when I reached out, and did try to address concerns. That evening, a serious incident occurred. We were alerted via our Ring camera that there was an issue involving the crew and our neighbors. When I called the foreman, he stated they were disposing of paint by digging a hole and burying it on the property. Given how close our homes are, this understandably upset our neighbors. The situation escalated into a confrontation, resulting in police being called, and the crew was told to leave. When we returned home, prep work was still unfinished, no painting had been completed, and there was trash left behind. A new crew arrived on day three and completed the job in a single day, which highlighted how inefficient the previous crew had been. However, communication remained poor at the management level. I attempted multiple times to reach a supervisor but never received a callback before the weekend. While we were eventually offered compensation, it was not proactively handled. I had to follow up myself to address and correct the compensation, which added to the frustration and made it feel like resolving the issue was not a priority. Due to managing our children and my husband working a 48-hour shift, I couldn't fully inspect everything immediately. After noticing additional incomplete work, I reached out again and received no response. We've hired many service providers over the years and have never experienced anything like this. This project caused unnecessary delays in selling our home and added significant stress. Given the cost and importance of this work, we expected far better professionalism, communication, and accountability.

It turned out the next day he was in a very bad accident and his vehicle was totaled! He obviously wasn't able to come, but he still went above and beyond and researched a very hard to find faucet that I needed as well as looked into finding an alternative service repair company for me. It was so easy and quick to request quotes and schedule a few free in-person estimates. Yelp kept everything organized in a "entire exterior painting" project so I could easily access contact info, see who had responded, compare, etc. I also requested ROC numbers to make sure the companies were legit. Ryley, sales guy, from Valor was quick to respond and offered to schedule an in-person estimate. Ryley emailed over a detailed and clear estimate shortly. The estimate was a good price and comparable to one other I had received but Ryley explained their process throughly and I felt confident about the quality and attention to detail. It took months for my HOA to approve the job (even though they requested it and we were using approved colors *Eye roll*). But the emailed quote was still valid and I was able to easily pay the deposit online and scheudle start date for just a couple weeks later! Carlos and Omar completed our job and did a spectacular job on both the prep and painting. Carlos was an excellent communicator and texted me as needed to ask questions, confirm things, etc. They kept me well informed and worked hard. Also super friendly nice guys. At the end of the job I was able to review the work and call out a few areas I wanted touched up, Carlos was happy to accommodate. Our job included stucco repair work, two doors, and garage door. They did excellent job on all. Highly recommend!

Previously we had somebody else from another company out and they did not do the job properly. I explained the situation to Response Crew and I was relieved to receive reassurances from the manager of Response Crew that he'd send one of his best door guys out and that we would not be disappointed. The manager also called back twice to make sure we were happy with the job. Although I missed those voice messages I figure posting about my experience here will make up for that. It's always tough when you are trying to hang a new door on an old frame that may not be perfectly straight anymore. And yes only time will tell if the fit holds. But I will say that even if we do have another problem in the future, I know where to go - Response Crew is a no brainer and for sure I'll be a repeat customer for future needs!

The main project I needed him to do he said it would take him 2 day 16hr to complete at 95 an hour. To me that seemed a bit odd, but I needed the work done so I scheduled with him. I decided to have 2 other licensed contractors come out for quotes for the exact same projects and ultimately had the project done by a different contractor and it took 1 person 4 hours to do what he said would take 16hrs to do. So woman reading this review beware, seems to me he was really trying to take advantage of me oh and then he says at the end he charges $15 trip changes. I don't know if he was truly capable of doing job or not what I do know is that he was definitely trying to overcharge me. He also never took any measurements he didn't have a notepad to write down any of the projects that I wanted completed. Maybe he's great at doing small projects that don't require much. But I am very glad that I decided to get more quotes. Because if I would have went with him I would have paid four times as much for him to do the work.

My husband and I had been talking about having the house painted due to previous horrible paint job a few years ago. We looked for a painter and had a couple references from other neighbors, when we called the other painters out they was either extremely High on price or really Low (we already knew the lower price wouldn't be worth it. We already had the house painted 2 years prior and it was horrible and the paint literally was fading before our eyes) always remember you get what you pay for! To make a long story short we found IHC Painting so decided to get our free estimate.Ike and son Joe came out was extremely thorough, they looked over everything we had ask them about and gave us a price. They was extremely helpful with the colors (we were undecided between 3) after talking to them we decided to go for it. The price was fair and they explained everything to us. Can't say enough about Joe and Ike and their painting and stucco crew. Their initial proposal was very detailed and their price was competitive. My property needed some extensive stucco repair to a smooth finish which can be challenging. The job when completed was outstanding. The exterior of my masonry block home and courtyard walls look like new now after 28 years of aging. The workers were very friendly, careful and efficient. Cleanup on completion of the work was quite satisfactory. I would definitely hire IHC again in the future because I am confident that they want their work to be done professionally and to the homeowners satisfaction. read more

Some time ago we had set out to have both the exterior of our home and dozens of interior plantation shutters painted, interviewing numerous firms. IHC had come highly recommended to us by another contractor on whom we rely and trust. IHC was the only firm that bid on both the exterior work and interior shutters.
