Come hungry because they are not playing around with those portions. The sandwiches are delicious, but I have to talk about the Portuguese treats. The classic pastel de nata was my FAVORITE! The pastry is so flaky, and that creamy custard filling makes it hard to stop at just one. Seriously, don't skip the natas! And the NATA LATTE?! I absolutely loved it. If you're already a fan of pastéis de nata, having those flavors worked into a latte just makes sense. Definitely something I would order again. We also tried the cod fritters, which were very good and another nice addition to everything else we ordered. Between the huge breakfast sandwiches, delicious Portuguese flavors, flaky natas and that nata latte, Gilda gives you plenty of reasons to come back. Do yourself a favor: get a sandwich, but whatever you do, DON'T leave without a pastel de nata. And if you're a coffee person, try that nata latte too!
