I happen upon this place by accident. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, the service, and the ambience! Stopped in the late afternoon. I had some of the best veal Parmesan that I have had in a while. It is BYOB so don't forget your bottle of wine. The waitress was more than accommodating. We had overlooked this little gem in the neighborhood previously, but decided to try something different this evening. The diverse and interesting menu brought us in. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The Portuguese inspired menu had a plethora of options, with a large selection of seafood dishes. We were brought warm rolls that were delicious. Husband & I had a wonderful early Valentine's Day dinner here. Loved the ambiance. We both enjoyed their Lasagna which came with soup or salad. We opted for salad, which was nicely done, although I do enjoy Kalamata olives vs black (and be careful, they do have the pits in them). Before offered, we asked for bread & it was hot & amazing too. Service was friendly although a bit slow. They do have accents, so I imagine they're more used to "Europe time" when it comes to serving & eating at restaurants, which I've experienced enough in my travels so understand. It's actually refreshing to be able to just relax & not to feel like you're being rushed out, but I can see how it might be a problem for some in our rushed American society. I have not been here in years, but this is an amazing restaurant. The pizza is to die for. I got the pepperoni pizza and they do it right here. It is wood-fired in a brick oven, and they don't mess around with the pepperoni and cheese. What do I mean? They pile on as much as they can. There's just one caveat though, I think this place should have a TouchTunes jukebox. Also, replacing the paper towels in the restrooms with hand dryers would not hurt either. read more

I ordered the seafood paelha that was disappointing. In particular the lobster was pithy and there was very little to no meat in parts of it. The mussels, clams, shrimp and scallops were okay. The saffron rice really needed some seasoning or something to make it tasty. My wife's spinach ravioli was cold and had to be microwaved. It was pretty good once warmed up. In my opinion I think pizza, steaks sandwiches and strombolis are good here and in the future I'd stick to these two items. read more

Food was just ok. Service was not great. My husband had a dish with lobster. In the past he never complained about his meal to the Waite staff. This time he asked where was the lobster? He had a shell but no lobster! There were some small legs. He didn't even get a cracker. He had to ask twice and finally received one. We won't be back. read more

Have also had their wings and cheesesteaks which were good, however the wings could have been more saucy. Will ask for extra sauce next time. It's a BYOB so we take our own wine and the waiter opens the bottle and gives us wine glasses. The staff has always been helpful and very accommodating. This is a cute little restaurant. It has a lot of character and charm. I went here for dinner for a work outing. We had sizzling shrimp, bruschetta and stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. They were all delicious. The mushrooms were a very nice size. The bruschetta had cucumbers in it which was different from what I'm used to but very good. I must say the mushrooms were my favorite. The salad was simple but good. For the main course I got the eggplant parmigiana. I didn't eat the spaghetti that came with it but I ate the eggplant. It was delicious. My only critique is that it was cut a little too thin. My only disappointment was the dessert. It was vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. The ice cream looked and tasted very freezer burnt. We recently had lunch at Ricardo's for a party of eight. The food was generally very good. Although the main entree item was freshly cooked and hot (e.g., grilled salmon), the two sides were definitely on the cool side. This could've been forgivable because the main item was so good. When the check came, however, the tip was already included because we had a large group. I wouldn't usually mind, but the tip was 20 percent calculated on the cost of the meal PLUS the tax. I wish they'd told me before we started the meal. Disappointing. Won't go out of my way to go back. read more
