Great course! Transportation to course if staying at Iberostar is really easy. Not a difficult course but lots of little hidden canals and ponds to keep things interesting. Oh and watch out for the crocs :) and enjoy the rest of the wildlife.

Nice course if you want to play a round while in Cancun. It's "all-inclusive" so food and drinks are included while you're there but don't expect an expansive list of choices for food or high end brands of liquor. On the course they'll bring you Tecate and Sol beer along with a couple of cold sandwich choices and bags of chips. The clubhouse has some better options. The course itself is nice and has a good layout. Plenty of water and sand traps to challenge you on your round. The threat of Crocs is real and they are all around the course. Heed the warnings and stay out of the mangroves if your ball rolls off the short stuff. We played on a discounted rate since they recently punched the greens. Not sure that I'd ever pay rack rate here though, it's a bit overpriced. Tips Book your tee time thru 3rd party sites to save money. Bring shoes, balls, and tees with you. If you're renting clubs they have nice King Cobra sets but you'll pay $55 a set for the round.

Super fun ... easy ...and reasonably priced course. Great service! Loved our bar cart driver Juan Jose. He made our day entertaining ... even without alcohol. Recommend especially if golfing with family.

A beautiful course full of challenges...especially for a novice golfer as myself…read more My son and I played two rounds a few days apart. Round one was a morning Tee time and although it was a good time we were rushed and the group behind us were constantly hitting up on us...total poor form. It seems as though this time of the day is fully packed as most are trying to beat the heat. This took some of the pleasure out of it. But, all in all an outstanding round of golf. However, for our second round a few days later we decided on an afternoon tee time. This round was much more enjoyable as the course was almost totally vacant. For this round my son and I were able to play a slow pleasurably and leisurely 18 holes. This round was totally enjoyable. The course is well maintained, nicely groomed and a joy to play. Plenty snack/beverage snacks strategically placed to meet all your hydration and munchie needs. An occasional gator on the bank of a water hazard was our only concern. The staff from check in, to launch, to the concession stands, through cart turn in were all extremely polite and helpful. Zero complaints. I'll totally play it again in my next stay...maybe I'll avoid the club rental fee by bringing my own clubs....

Nice restaurant and bar at the start club house. There's a range to hit balls before play. Bring lots of golf balls, you're gonna need a couple Dozen.

Truly Felt Like Family -- An Unforgettable Stay at Hyatt Ziva Cancun…read more Where do I even begin? we traveled here for my birthday and from the very first moment we arrived at Hyatt Ziva Cancun, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness. The staff immediately made us feel at home, and that feeling continued throughout our entire stay. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful--spotless, incredibly clean, and very well maintained. The service was exceptional. A huge compliment to the management team for combining the high standards you expect from a Hyatt resort with the warmth, friendliness, and genuine hospitality of Mexico. That combination made our experience truly special. And the food! We tried every restaurant during our stay, and honestly, the food was fantastic everywhere. If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the French restaurant, but we enjoyed every place we tried. The rooms were beautiful, extremely clean, and had amazing views. I was especially impressed that our room was serviced twice a day. There were also plenty of activities throughout the resort, and we had so much fun participating in them. But what really made this trip unforgettable were the people. A very special thank you to Leila Guirin, Diana, Virgilio Castillo, Odalys, Angelica, Alejandro, Roman, Diego, Jazer, Natasha, and especially the amazing Edgar, who seems to wear many hats! Edgar was not only a fantastic entertainer but became someone we truly considered a friend. These are just some of the names I remember. Unfortunately, I lost the list I had written because there were so many other wonderful people I wanted to recognize. But I can sincerely say that every single person we encountered was friendly, respectful, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now I understand why Hyatt Ziva Cancun refers to its guests as "family." It isn't just something they say in their messages or emails--they actually make you feel that way. We weren't treated simply as hotel guests; we were treated like welcomed friends and loved ones. That genuine Mexican hospitality, friendship, and warmth is something I will remember long after the vacation itself. Thank you to the entire Hyatt Ziva Cancun family for giving us one of the best resort experiences we have ever had. You made our stay phenomenal and truly unforgettable. We arrived as guests, but we left feeling like family. I cannot recommend Hyatt Ziva Cancun enough, and I sincerely hope we have the opportunity to return!

Marie, Frank and America = the ultimate trio butlers to have during your stay…read moreWe ran into Marie more often and absolutely just loved her warmth and hospitality Everything here is everything you need. From beautiful sunrise to sunset, it's a must come. Mercado Buffet - (as pictured) the woman who was there everyday when I was there, was the bomb! Made tacos so promptly and they were so yummy. Definitely I looked forward to every morning! Habanero - Rafael M., we saw him on our last day. But never have I ever seen anyone so hard in such hot weather and be grateful to meet, greet, serve so many people and still put a smile on his face. If we went the beginning of our trip, I don't doubt we would have been there every single day because of him! The Spa - CESAR! Sofia and Sara are the people you need to cross paths. Cesar is the one who got us in. Never did he rush us, he wanted us to enjoy our time at the pool and he circled back with kindness. And that's the only reason why we committed to the spa! Sofia and Sara were our people at the Spa, and boy did they put in work! I felt so relaxed and decompressed at the end of our trip because of them!!! Tradewinds - Araceli, the one who made our last day special. I told her it was our last day, and she brought the whole staff to sing and had us wear a big sombrero! It was so heartwarming and it made my heart sink, and did not make me want to leave!! The French restaurant is also a must! Loved the potato leek soup and the lamb rack. The Italian restaurant had amazing cheese mushroom pizza! I've been to Hyatt Los Cabo's, and the one thing Cancun didn't have was to go boxes due to regulations. The dolphins are such a cute thing to wake up to and was such a nice thing to do for family and people! We stayed at the Turquoise building. Loved the bath outside the room! It was my birthday, and my boyfriend and the staff really made it beyond special. From roses to balloons, to cards, to the simplest reminder of all them knowing it was my birthday and wishing me the best. You will hear a lot of, welcome family or hi family. And by the end of the trip, you will really feel that they really did become your family. 100/100 recommend this place!!!
