booked a last-minute appointment at the salon. I called ahead and said can you squeeze in my toddler for a haircut. They said yes and said it would be $40. So I pick her up take her to get her haircut and we're waiting there for 15 minutes and someone comes out and says actually we don't do toddler haircuts. The person you're booked with is going to be $75. No other options were given to me, horrible service so we left. I said you should have told me that when I called??? She said yeah she's new sooo... It's not my fault your new person gave me wrong information? Do you know hard it is to convince a toddler to get their haircut in the first place?! read more

I received a gift card here for my birthday from my friend, so I decided to use it for a spa pedicure! I never usually pamper myself or spend money on things like this, but I was so excited to use this. Making an appointment was super easy, I called and they got me in on a Saturday as I wanted. They are taking the proper precautions for Covid and have you call from your car when you arrive. They take your temperature upon entering, as well as have you sanitize your hands and fill out a COVID waiver. The pedicurist was super nice and when I explained it was my first pedi in my life, she was very good about guiding me through the process. My feet are pretty beat up from years of running and I'm glad I finally got them fixed up. I wasn't sure of a nail polish color but she suggested a pretty burnt orange color for fall and I absolutely love it! I am reluctant to spend a decent amount of money on spa services, but this would be worth it. I am very active and constantly on my feet but my pedi is still on a week later with no signs of chipping and I bet it will last much longer. Can't wait until I go back for another pedi! read more

My stylist, Joanna, moved to this salon a couple of months ago. From the minute you walk into the door, Amy is there to greet you and the salon has been nothing, but warm and welcoming. I would follow Joanna anywhere, but I am glad she came here. Joanna has done my hair for years and I have never been disappointed. I was in need of Aveda products and looked online at Aveda.com to find a local retail salon that accepts pure privilege ( an aveda customer perks system). The door was locked upon my arrival but the salon was open. A staff member opened the door slightly to peek her head out and her greeting was not very welcoming or warm, she said " yes?" I told her I was here to purchase products and she briskly ordered my teenager and I sanitize our hands but went and got my product herself and did not sanitize her hands. I buy a lot of aveda products but I will never return to this location because of the very rude treatment. That receptionist needs a lesson in customer service. I'm a pure privilege member and she ignored my request to add my purchase for points. I even mentioned it twice and spelled my last name out for her, she said she did it despite not touching my card. I came home and checked online and my purchase was not reflected in my account. read more

I absolutely LOVE Ibi David Salon!! Ibi David is an Aveda salon that offers hair, nail, waxing and spa services, and I've been taking advantage of all of those services for the last 3 years. The staff is kind, caring and very professional. I love that I'm usually greetd by name when I arrive for an appointment. Their commitment to keeping up with trends and new techniques really shows in the quality of the services provided, too. No matter what service I'm having done I feel very well taken care of and pampered. I also love that they don't aggressively push products at customers just for the sake of making a sale. I've had a bad experience with a large Aveda salon in Westlake that is ruthless when it comes to selling product. My stylist's and esthetician's product recommendations have always been helpful and personal to my needs. There are so few places that you can escape to for a few hours to just relax and do something nice for yourself. I would recommend Ibi David to anyone looking for a little getaway on the west side. I moved to this area 12 years ago. I found IBI by walking up to a women at the food store parking lot because she had a really great haircut. I was not disappointed. Ibi is the consummate hairstylist. Not surprised she opened her on salon 5 years ago. It is a full service salon where the customer is really pampered. Everyone is friendly and great at the services they offer. I don't know the exact but it's the 3rd bldg east of the corner of Bradley and Center Ridge, Westlake. OH. Do yourself a favor and let them pamper you from their full service salon. read more

I received a gift card for this salon as a Christmas present and decided to get a spa pedicure. According to the front desk staff, this was a 90 minute service which included all the typical pedi hallmarks, but also an extra mask, massage, and set of hot towels. From the get-go I was underwhelmed. While the receptionist was polite enough, she put out a very condescending vibe. My pedicurist came out and greeted me and was much friendlier than the receptionist. Before I continue, let me qualify what I'm about to say with the fact that I am a licensed salon professional myself, trained in an Aveda school, so I know what to look for and how to do her job. That being said, the pedicure itself was pretty terrible. She did not file my feet properly, I had to redo it when I got home. She didn't take off all of my existing polish well enough. She didn't push or nip my cuticles. She didn't really massage my feet or legs. And I had three nails lose their polish in less than 3 days, which I assume is because she didn't properly prep the nail before applying the polish. She also finished in 50 minutes, which is less time than the pedicure below the spa pedi. All in all, I would not go back to this place. I didn't even call and complain because I didn't want to be offered another pedicure as reparation. I would have given them fewer stars, but my pedicurist was nice and polite and I liked her. She's just very new, not confident enough yet, and needs to be more mindful of the steps she skips because when someone pays $60 for a spa service, they expect to have an amazing experience. read more

I've have gone to the same hair dresser for 4 years and then one day she just quit. I didn't know what to do or where to go...I felt lost. I asked around to everyone to see where was a good place to go and I heard nothing but good things about Ibi David Salon so I decided to give it a shot. Today was my first color and cut there, it was warm, welcoming and I was greated by smiling faces. I had my color completed by Rachel and my cut by Ibi herself. I was nervous at first, hoping my hair wouldn't turn out to be something I hated or looking like a disaster. The comfort of the entire place made that fear disappear right away...i felt like I was in good hands. The service alone was above and beyond making sure I was comfortable,(above part) hand and arm massage while my hair was toned!!! It was purely amazing!. I felt pampered the moment I walked in and lasted the entire time I was there. The best part of all when it was all said and done...I fell in love with my hair again. Rachel and Ibi did wonders together and I couldn't be happier! If you are thinking about trying this salon, I said do it! You are not going to regret it, you will love that you made the choice. This salon is amazing. When I first went there they were able to effectively fix a mistake another salon had made with my hair. The stylists are truly gifted and good at what they do. Everyone there is kind and makes you feel welcome and comfortable which is what a salon and spa should do! Fantastic. I had gotten my hair cut here for years and only stopped because I moved out of town. This company is a joke. The girl (Michelle I think her name is?) is so unprofessional and even slighly rude to me every time I go in there. Ibi seems to care about your but then disregards what I say while getting styled. I feel like just another face in the crowd every time I walk in there.
