The second Luis answered my call, I knew this was the place! This guy took his time and explained to me step by step their daily routine. He hid nothing and explained absolutely everything. I cannot start to express the amount of trust and hope I gained from that call alone. Ended up taking my loved one there and from day one it was a challenge to get through day to day. With the entire staff on board caring so much for my family member, I was amazed at the amount patience and care they showed us. Now I know it was not easy for my loved one, but Luis made sure, he didn't give up and motivated him to stay and complete the treatment. I am so happy to say that during the entire stay Luis was constantly giving us updates and keeping us informed of how my loved one was doing. Just to give us a reassurance that everything will be ok. And to be very honest, with the amount they charged and looking at all that they do and provide with. This was the best money ever spent. I can go on and on about the compassion and devotion the staff shared towards, but it will still not be enough to truly express in words. My loved one is home now, and yes, it's still very new but there are so many changes already put in place. He answered every question, reassured me of on time pick up's and drops even at a last minute when I had to see my surgeon. The food like all other reviews mention is fantastic!! They even have fresh fruit water that I always asked for seconds. If you're hungry in between meals you can ask for a snack, my favorite was Greek yogurt with nuts and fresh fruit and drizzle of honey!! They do have three room upstairs and three rooms downstairs. They have a chair that will take you up the stairs if you're unable to walk. Upstairs is where their in house masseuse is Neri I believe she does have packages and is super sweet and gentle! There's a bathroom in each room and they are all very spacious so you never felt cramped. They do have windows and access to a patio area so natural sunlight is perfect. They do offer pedicures, IV drops, facials and lots more they will ask you when you arrive if you would like to purchase anything. They do have street parking but it's at your own risk. Never felt unsafe since they do have alarms all over the house. They do have a living room area upstairs and downstairs in case you're tired of being in your room. Everyone gets their own personal button to call for assistance When you first arrive there's a nurse waiting for you to assist you in getting out of the car, they will walk you to your room, ask you how you're doing. They will take you to your room and help you change since most patients are draining or have been in the same garments for the whole day. They will assist in you laying down. They have stepping stools, stroller thingies, extra blanket, pillows and even boopy pillows if needed. The nurse will than come take your vitals and any meds prescribed and start to go over the time frames of the medicine some are taken in 8hr increments and they don't want to wake you if you prefer to have them before you sleep. The nurse will ask for any allergies or preference on food be specific because they cook alittle of everything. I recommend buying your meds here since it was cheaper paid around 160 for my initial meds but everyone is different and you're able to pay USD, pesos or card. They do give you a sleeping pill which works amazing if you need one. I was in a shared room and didn't have issues. They will ask you if you want to showers or change and don't be shy to ask for anything else. My nurse even went to buy me a sprite because I felt I needed to burp. So good!! They change your sheets and provide you with the pads,gauzes, disinfectant and pads if needed. The nurses I interacted with were all amazing the main nurses who provided care for me were Lori, Lupita and Kari and they were the reason I extended my stay!! I thought after three days I'd be great but honestly ended up staying three more days. By the time I left I felt good and normal. These nurses were so sweet! So professional never made me feel like I was an inconvenience. They were very knowledgeable. I loved that they always checked my vitals, asked me if I had any pain or wanted tea :) trust me putting that faja on is a struggle!! Hahah LUPITA even brought me some tea from home that helped with my cough!! Love her for that!! Karla who was so sweet, was always driving me around. She would even stay after her shift when my doctor wanted to see me to take me. Had the best convos. Communicated after drop off's to get a time frame and if not available send someone else. Sometimes I had a two hour massage. They are able to drive you to appt for the doctor or any where else but only two times. Anything other than that is 30 and they do charge extra if utilizing Zelle which kinda sucks. Uber is around 9/10 bucks so it's about convenience. If you need it one way it'll be 15 bucks. They end up adding up since some doctors offer massages in their price for surgery so it ends up being expensive. You're able to pay the deposit thru Zelle and I emailed Andre' and was told I could pay the remainder of the balance as well if needed to. The medical pass with them is 40 bucks or 45 thru Zelle. They do provide a tip envelope upon your checkout. Andre even honored a promotion. He had after I decided to extend my stay which is awesome!! My stay here was incredible and so glad I chose this house!

They also me shower and bed was always in great shape and comfortable, and I got to have the deepest sleep I've ever had. I didn't even wanna leave. This is your go to place whether you have surgery or not to get some good R&R and you get to meet there that are friendly that are also having surgery and they also have an oxygen if you need to get treatment for that too, and if you need any type of care to get your hand and feet pedicure done, they will call it in and also if you need any type of prescription, they have someone come to you and bring it to you. Always very helpful and cheerful. The WORST: the food is terrible. Your workaround is to bring your own healthy, protein-based snacks. Every meal was cold if not barely tepid. With the exception of one meal out of 15 meals/snacks. Most meals and snacks were not healthy choices. Chicken/pork hot dog with veggie snack chips. Chicken lasagna was downright cold and had a strange overpowering lemony flavor. Snacks could be canned mandarin orange slices or merengues and a cheesecake cube. I had to ask for protein sources in lieu of the served meal. Every time. I'd ask for a simple scrambled egg, it would arrive overcooked and tepid. Otherwise times, substituting wasn't an option being told the kitchen was closed. Recommend ordering delivery. Something that can't be changed and is a con: the street noise at night can be VERY loud. However, Bella is one of the few recovery centers that is a certified medical recovery center. That's a huge selling point for me. I'd stay again and just plan on ordering food delivery.

My journey started by researching stem cell treatments in Mexico. I connected with 3 clinics…read moreincluding ProgenCell. I chose ProgenCell because of their professional ways of working with me. First, the communication was superior compared to the other two. All my questions were answered by the same or next day via email. I was always able to connect by phone when I needed to talk to someone. Second, I was able to communicate with the doctors by phone when I needed clarity for my questions. The other two clinics would not let me talk to any doctor even when I told them I needed some answers before paying the expenses for lodging, transportation, food etc. The doctors at ProgenCell were completely transparent with their advise even if it meant that possible stem cell treatment would not work for one of my knees and knee replacement would be the better choice. Third, the staff was totally punctual on all levels. Scheduled phone calls, treatments, transportation for pick up and delivery were right on schedule. Forth, the staff and doctors were kind, patient, thorough, professional and fun to be with. Fifth, the staff even set up the appointments and transportation for x-ray and lodging for me. Really, they were so efficient, all I had to do was show up. It's a little early to know of the long term effects of the stem cell treatment but I have notice an improvement in regards to my pain level and function with my knees after about 2 weeks since my treatment. I was given an IV of 100,000,000 stem cell and 20,000,000 stem cells in each knee. Overall, I'm very pleased and grateful that I found ProgenCell online. I will certainly use them in the future. This provider operates under multiple names and websites, including Russald Medical, TJ Hair Clinic, and MedicalMex (russaldclinic.com, tjhairclinic.com, medicalmex.com), which made it unclear who I was actually dealing with. I also observed Better Business Bureau (BBB) accreditation logos displayed across these websites. However, BBB primarily operates in the United States and Canada, and I was unable to find any verified listing or accreditation for this provider in the official BBB database.
