I would highly recommend driving the extra couple miles to a different tailor. You have to reach out to him or your clothes will stay there forever. Then he'll tell you he contacted you when he clearly didn't. Show up and he tells you there something wrong with YOUR phone. He shows me the messages and the conversation was sent green (we both had iphones). We were people, we forget, not the end of the world. So he prioritized it and I picked it up the next day. He misplaced my shoes I left there and the slit in my dress was not altered like I had requested. He charged me $250 for this, all in all I would never go back. read more

Ibrahim still has room for improvement as a business owner and tailor. I was told that my tuxedo would be ready in a week from the day I dropped it off. I called around noon on the day of pick to see if the tuxedo was ready to ensure I planned my busy day accordingly. When I arrived at the time I was told by Ibrahim. He was still wrapping up the jacket as I was walking in. When I tried the jacket on after 15mins after I arrived the fit was good. 20mins later he finally gave me the pants to try on and the alterations were way off from what we discussed in the original fitting and it was clear that my tuxedo would not be ready anywhere near the promised time. He tried to tell what I originally wanted would work after he didn't mention any issues with doing so originally. This was also odd because I have a closer full of suits tailored the way I requested. On top of that he showed a complete disregard of my time by not being honest about the time my items would be ready that day. This made me over an hour late for a work event. When he needed more time he thought it was perfectly acceptable to tell me to simply go home and come back and I live over 20mins away that's almost an hour round trip and fuel/energy I have to consider/ replace. I was also asked to pay a deposit of prior to any work being done. This was the first time I've ever been asked to do this in my life by a tailor. I'm from Missouri/ Georgia and recently moved into the area from LA. I have a reasonable pool to use for compression. In the end, I was still charged the full price of $300 despite the tuxedo not being ready at the time promised and told me to come by hours plus the alterations being completely off on the delivery day. I'm mostly upset about the time and opportunity he cost me without a care in the world and a lack of transparency. I won't get into what I do professionally because everyone's time in general is the most valuable thing they have regardless! I person with sound morals and values who knows how to take accountability and be honest. That's also great for business. In business, it's also best to under-promise and over-deliver! The opposite was done in this situation. To top it all off! During one of the biggest events/ nights in my industry, the button on my tuxedo just came off completely! It became clear that shortcuts were taken possibly to try and make up for being late and that there's improvement needed on the skill side. I would not recommend going here if your time is important and also want great work done. I sent Ibrahim a picture of the button and haven't even gotten an apology or response. He doesn't stand by his work and doesn't care that he didn't return the item that I paid for back to me in the same condition. Find another option. read more

Last year I found a really cute silk pant suit/dress suit for sale at the Neat Thrift Store located in Lake Elsinore. You can always find treasures in Christine's store, and I did! Her dressing room was closed due to Covid, but the suit's tag read it was a size 12, so I assumed it would fit and bought the 4 piece white leopard print outfit. This outfit is too cute for words, a must have! Well, once I got home and tried it on, it fit more like a size 3! I couldn't get the zipper up period. Figured "I'll lose the weight and it'll fit after lockdown"... NOT! I was thinking about taking it into the local dry cleaner, as I know they do that kind of stuff. My girlfriend told me it's way too nice of a suit and take it to a professional tailor....I googled and called the 1st name that popped up....got their voicemail. Hung up and moved to the 2nd tailor, Ibrahim answered, was very kind and sounded like he knows what he's doing and does it well. It's a 30 minute drive, but I didn't care and I went to meet him. Extremely professional man with an immaculate store, very impressive! I took my suit in on Monday, and he had no problem getting it done for Saturday night's dinner. When I went back to pick up the suit, I brought more work for him, a pair Jean's I need altered. I took my hat in to get a patch sewn on it & the guy sewed it on completely crooked. When I told/showed him how his stitch line was crooked & how it pretty much ruined the patch he got super hostile and started bending my hat all up. Now my hat and patch are both ruined. Additionally his prices are high, I recommend going to Vega's tailoring or Victors, you'll save money and the quality or work is much better. read more

I will not be going back to this alteration tailor business. He is very expensive charge 85 To alter a pair of jeans plus charges $15 just to hem pant... Total $155 for 1 pants to alter and 2 pants to be hem... I haven't tried on the 3 pants yet but I did pick them up and he's just rude. Very rude after he gets his money... he does not give a receipt when you pay, which is bad business, He tells you to take a picture of your ticket and that your proof of payment . This guy is a seasoned tailor! This is his skill and virtue and he has very obviously mastered his craft. It's like having Versace customize your clothes but right in your very own neighborhood. He has an eye for design and he knows fabric and clothing construction. I was really impressed at his skill set. They really don't make men like this anymore. He just recently moved from Boston where he was a tailor for many decades doing work for the stylish Bostonian man and woman as well as some players of Bostons very own basketball team the Celtics. This gentleman also works with women's clothing and can make your dress feel like a couture body glove made perfectly for your unique body frame and that's because he know's measurements and he simply has an eye for detail. I myself was trying to find someone skilled enough to resize a pair of g-star denim jeans to go roughly 5 sizes larger so I can wear them. I stumbled upon his shop walked in and simply asked if he could do the job and he said absolutely "yes" with no hesitation and so he took some measurements, suggested some great ideas and 2 weeks later my jeans are done and they perfectly fit my body! They feel so awesome they came back to me with a very strong construction I was blown away at Ibrahim's work! I just have love for this guy! Hate to leave such a bad review but wow does this place deserve it. Took my pants in to get them tailored for a friends wedding. Gave Ibrahim 3 weeks to get my pants done and he told me they would be ready in two. When I went to go pick them up 2 weeks and 4 days later, he told me that he forgot to put a date on the pants and that he will get it done. Needless to say i took my pants elsewhere. Thank god for Vega's who was able to recover Ibrahims mess and for HALF the price. Ibrahim is over charging and horrible at communicating. read more

Customer service and communication is a ZERO out of 10! The tailor service is a 10 out of 10. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED with the customer service and turnaround time. Dropped off dresses April 28th. My dress, for a hem and a stitch to close slit was said to be done on May 20th. My daughter needed sleeve straps shorten, torso tightened, and front chest area modified. She was scheduled to have a fitting on May 13th at 2pm. We showed up and it wasn't even started! We went back on May 15th at 4pm. The top part of her dress was good, so he measured for the hemming. We were scheduled to come back May 23rd at 7pm to pick up both dresses. I called a couple hours before our appointment and he asked if we could come at 730pm. I told him we could just come in the next day and he said noon. We showed up at noon the following day. He was working on my daughter's dress and mine wasn't done! He mixed up my dress with another similar color dress! He apologized numerous times and kept giving the excuse of last week being so busy. I don't accept that because he gave us specific times to come in and our stuff wasn't ready. He asked us to come back at 3pm. Around 1:15pm he called and said our dresses were ready. I chose this place because of the excellent reviews but I will not return. We left a deposit when we dropped off dresses. The second time we came in, which was two days after the first fitting appointment that had to be rescheduled due to him not having anything ready, he asked us to pay the balance, even though neither of our dresses were ready. I paid most but had a $50 balance. When we finally picked up our dresses today, I asked if a discount would be fair for our two inconveniences and he only took off $25 stating how much work he did on our dresses. I praised him for his great work but also explained the effort we gave him showing uon time for our appointments to not ruin his schedule. He was not pleased but took off $25. I'm so disappointed. He is very knowledgeable and does great work but his customer service and organization is poor. Unfortunately we will not be back and I have shared my experience with friends and they will not take the chance of going there either. We did get our dresses on time but the disappointment of scheduling appointments with him only to have to reschedule because he failed his duty is unacceptable. If you're looking for a good tailor and don't care about time or failed appointments, then Ibrahim is a good choice. I'm so sad I can't give him an overall high recommendation. read more

I went here to get some patches sewed onto my leather cutt. I walked in to see the owner standing there talking to another customer. After 10 mins I told him what I wanted and where I wanted it. He was very pushy and continued to disregard how I wanted it, I told him the way he had it wasn't straight and he told me that it was! It was definitely uneven and we went back and fourth for a while till finally coming to a understanding. Still looked off but I thought maybe when its on there it would look better. Mind you it's only been 10 mins of us discussing this plus the 10 I waited so really not that long. It was 1 center patch stitched on witch came out to 75$ dollars! After hearing that and everything else I decided that it wasn't gonna work for me and that I'm gonna go to Temecula to a better priced place, no big deal. He got mad at me and told me I was WASTING his precious time. The owners a Very rude man and the store is a uncomfortable environment. Don't bring your motorcycle leathers into this place! read more
