My family has been going to this place since we moved to Lake Elsinore in 1999. Raul always does a wonderful job! I don't know what the two people who gave him a bad review did (maybe he was just having a bad day), but don't believe them. Raul is fair, honest and does quality work. He'll tell you if something is worth fixing or not. Yes, he's very busy, but he's the only one there. That's to be expected. My family has had everything done at his shop, from hemming pants to altering my sister's wedding dress. The key things to remember are as follows: don't show up with something and expect it the next day; allow Raul time to do his job. Understand there's people who put in their requests before you did. And if at all possible, drop the item off as soon as you can. Raul DOES rearrange the jobs he does at times for certain reasons. The important thing is to get your item(s) in the queue. If money is an issue, ask if you can pay for your item(s) when you pick them up...you might get told "yes". If it's not, pay ahead of time. The next day I called to update Raul on a change to the garment since he had not started the alterations just yet. Two hours later he told me that he would not be proceeding with the alterations and that I needed to pick up my clothing. read more

I brought a pair of my wife's favorite Buckle jeans to be tailored. Seems her sweet butt caused a rip in the jeans. He performed the delicate surgery necessary. I had a relatively new pricey (Retail $80, I paid $40) Lacoste t-shirt where a hole had developed along a seam. I was hoping the shirt could be repaired but not be charged too much. I gave Fantastic Tailors a try and I was able to get shirt repaired. Raul looked at separated shirt seam and immediately began to sow and reinforce the entire shirt seam. Raul only asked for a tip for his work but I was willing to spend $10 so I happily gave Raul $10 in appreciation of his quick and thorough work to repair my shirt and his friendly demeanor. I spoke to him about 3@4 weeks ago I told him my daughter needs her wedding dress to be fix and he said am a profesional you will be very happy with my work I have fix dresses the day before and customers leave happy. As long as your daughter comes the first or second week of May I can fix her dress in a few days. This place is the BEST and truly saved my wedding and from having to buy a gross cheap dress! I had ordered my wedding dress and it was completely off size and proportioned incorrectly. I worked my butt off to try and fit into it, but realistically there was no way. I took my dress in at last minute and I was going to cry it was amazing. Wow had a great experience with this place the first time around that is why I gave this place 2 stars if not it would be zero stars if possible. I came into gets some pants hemmed I ask the owner Raul what does he think he did not give any advice other then everyone is different got it. He said leave your pants and come back tomorrow to check out what you would like. Came back he sized pants then ask to adjust. He said after me asking him to adjust that I was "too picky" and that I should find another tailor. Raul was amazing! He not only quoted me a fair price at taking in the shoulders of a dress. His kindness showed through. He said I could do it myself because it was a matter of a few stitches. He pinned where it needed to be, gave me a needle and matching thread, and I saved some money! In addition, I purchased a dress on Amazon that I thought the zipper was broken. Raul looked at it and said it was a good zipper that I needed to pull it at a different angle. With all that, I finally gave him a pair of slacks so he could put a zipper in. I have used Fantastic Tailors twice now and the second time was even better than the first! Both jobs were for prom dresses for my daughters. The first dress had to be taken in at the top in order to fit however it had a very intricate bead pattern as well. Raul was able to take in the bodice without making the change obvious in the beading! It was GORGEOUS! The second dress was more of a nightmare! The bodice needed to be taken in in order for her waist to even exist, the corset back needed to have the panel extended and the lining of the dress was basically non-existent at only 4 inches long (on a 16-yr old that was NOT OK!) - Raul managed to take a dress that looked like a fancy potato sack on my daughter, to an absolutely BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT FIT!! Once again he had to cut from other parts of the dress and I still cannot figure out where he cut fabric from!! Both girls looked AMAZING and were so happy with their dresses! Thank you so much Raul!
