There are two restrooms (women's and men's) and a kitchen to prepare or store food. I love the fact that you can utilize both the inside are to store food and have places to sit and the outside area for games or just to enjoy the nice view and sun. Clean up - they require all trash and recycling to be removed and for the floors to be swept clean before you can leave. Parking: can get pretty tight. If you have an event - highly recommend to make it at 12 or earlier to help your guests get priority on parking spots.

Here's the breakdown: - the facility is a 2,000 square feet multi-purpose room that can accommodate about 110 people. - It has large kitchen in the back complete with stove, oven, microwave and large fridge. - it has a women's and men's restroom that is only available for your event (meaning, closed to the Lake-goers in the area). - rental of the facility includes 10 10x2 tables, as well as plenty of chairs. - there is a 6 hr minimum to rent (includes kitchen): $390 for Fremont residents, $510 for non-residents - each additional hour is $65 (resident) and $85 (non-resident) Pros: - booking was a breeze; I did my transactions online and correspondence via email and the contacts were very helpful and responsive! - the facility has lots of windows and overlooks a really great part of Lake Elizabeth. - close to the parking lot and easy to find. Cons: - building is quite old - parking lot can get packed by lunch time Other notes: - allow ample time for set up; the tables and chairs are not set up for you - soap and toilet paper is provided in the bathrooms; dishwashing liquid and surface cleaners however, are not...so bring your own - mops and brooms are located in the supply cabinet by the restrooms - you can serve beer, wine and champagne for a maximum of 4 hours Would book this again!

It was well worth attending this event despite the bright sun. They even held tours for the various buildings. Almost forgot but they had lion dancers there to ward off evil spirits & bring good luck to each of these 3 buildings. Similar to what they do for Chinese New Years! The second time the courts were full and they don't have a rotation policy. You just have to wait until someone empties the court. They do have sheets where you can sign up and get in line but no one honors it. If you have lots of time and are willing to wait at least for an hour to get to play then you can go here. Otherwise I recommend going to another place where they have a proper rotation policy. I am willing to change my review if they implement a proper policy.

They do not value people are prepare to play ping pong and have no respect to do what ever they want in terms of scheduling. They already cancel Wednesday so only Monday and Friday they have ping pong. I could go else where to join a club for ping pong instead of coming here. The tables are old and they don't have resource to replace them. Or even add another table since so many people are waiting for their turn to play.

I calmly told her that "If you criticize my clean up, you have to clean it for me." My polite way to ask her to mind her own business. She went berserk and told me off to the studio guy E, accusing me of being rude while she was the one who crossed my boundary. Being a poor mediator, the guy sided with her without investigating. That was because he spied on my clean up in the past too, which was uncool! It made me uneased. I felt picked on. His behavior of one-sidedly consoling the bully, instead of remaining neutral was off putting. There's a constitutional right of "freedom of movement " that no one shall obstruct your free choice. I was glad I stood up for myself. Clay, no matter how careful you are with, will be inevitably left a few traces in the sink, and it is not a big deal. Everyone does it and everyone has his/her way of cleaning. No need to nitpick and be pathetic. To be bullied and snitched by someone who thinks she has the right to tell others what to do is disheartening. Pottery making shall be a peaceful time to create without being disturbed. To instruct people what to do as if acting as a social warrior puts a damper on freedom and creativity. They should put a sign next to the sink, that reads, "Please mind your own business when cleaning, as people like to be left alone." The entire community center is funded by tax payers' dollars, government-operated meaning it's run differently than privately-owned ones, and is more authoritarian in my opinion. As a paying customer, I'd like to access to my creative outlet without being disturbed yet my experience was tarnished by busybody commie control freak and a biased worker. I don't meddle with other's business and others should not meddle with mine. I also found some of their instructors controlling. They need to respect personal autonomy. Clean up is a very personal thing. If everyone does exactly the same thing, they can move to North Korea. It was a dissapointing experience. Move on to other options for my creative pursuit.
