Then moved to California, and had eyebrow microblading done in Pasadena after two years of moving back to the US. Amber did SUCH A GREAT JOB on my eyebrows. There's so many different things to discuss it's hard to pick. 1. Bedside Manner Amber is sweet and funny and she even is philanthropic in how she helps others in need with their brow shape. I know that sounds silly but really having your brows look professional and beautiful without daily help can really help improve how you feel about your look. Amber was super kind to my mom who sat in on one of my appointments after not having seen me in 8 months. She also understood my ridiculously busy constant high pressure work schedule and was polite when I was called during one of our sessions. Really helped me not panic over a random phone call while getting my face tattooed. 2. Professionalism Amber is a consummate professional. She didn't double check her work, she triple and quadruple checked and even used an app to make sure the brow shape was the best for my face. I didn't second guess her decisions for a minute. 3. Eyebrow shape and quality Speaking of shape, she took my semi shapeless brows and made them gorgeous! Truly they look so much sharper and better now. Even when I would spend 20 - 30 minutes a day drawing in my brows, they didn't retain the shape half as well. 4. Touch Up 1 Month Appointment She took just as much time to make sure that my brows looked good here as she did the first time. She improved upon a great design and filled in the spots that she saw would have a problem with peeling later. We also made sure to change tactics so that my scabbing wouldn't remove so much of the front of my brow (Which is more of a "my skin" problem than an Amber problem.) 5. Painfulness I hadn't gotten my brows done at all because I was worried it would be painful but it went easily. Once Amber got the pinching initial design done first, she put some numbing cream on and I almost fell asleep! 6. Facilities Her studio is clean and beautiful. Let me start by saying, I LOVE MY BROWS! Coming from a girl who has eyebrow hair, but could always be fuller. I NEVER in my life have drawn in my brows with pencil or anything for a few reasons. It's time consuming (I hear that's the longest part about getting ready is perfecting the brows), I didn't want to go swimming or sweat and accidently wipe off my brow and suddenly have half missing, and..well that's enough really for just not wanting to. Ha! So...it appears micro blading is really growing and becoming a huge deal! I have been asking around for a while because I was curious but just didn't really feel like I needed it. After consulting with the iBrowEmpress (who is fabulous by the way), she talked me through the process, what to expect, what to do/not to do, and making sure I was ready to commit to the aftercare because that is key. Sounds like a lot of maintenance and time, right? It wasn't bad at all and once the brows were healed it was totally worth it! From the time of my initial consultation, first session, and touch up she walked me through what was going to happen, what type of products she used, spent some time mapping my brows, going over the color with me, and making sure I loved the shape before she did anything.
