horrible office staff you can't bring your children with if your child has appointments with them and don't follow guidelines as is

This was our first visit, and we were very happy with the service received. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. Dr. Lynch was very patient and thorough with his examination. He did not try to high pressure us into buying hearing aids, but did encourage us to come back in a year for a check up. He did explain more about tinnitus and gave me some a tip for dealing with it. The facility is in a big complex, but he is near the entrance and the parking was free, close and convenient. read more

They're a 0, crooks and frauds. Tried to double bill me/my insurance company for the same eye exam. Staff at the front desk and the office manager are horrible (rude and grumpy), very poor customer service. read more

I was in the office with my aunt waiting when I seen the doctor approach the young lady in the front and talked to her very rude infront of the other patients! If he can talk to her like that I dont want to know how he talk to his patients. read more

I worked for them for a short time. I had a medical issue that caused me to step away. The week I got sick I was trying to give them my forms for medical coverage and they couldn't even tell me who to give it to to process. I'm lucky I'm a veteran and had that to fall back on but it didn't cover everything. read more

I had two really bad experiences at this practice. Firstly, The eye Dr (skinny white man) who did the test on me did a horrible job. Took him 3 mins to run the reading tests on a wall and prescribed lenses that turned out to be wrong. When i went back (as a courtesy visit, free of charge) for a double check, he took even shorter time to test me. This time he asked me how well i can see, i said horribly, then he said "you'll get used to them, you'll always see blurry. But this time i can increase/better the presciption. " i was amazed of his lck of humanity. Secondly, when i was done with the Dr. he suggest i try the frames they have in stock. Thats when Diane came out to meet me. She didnt even look at me, pointed to the left wall "those are the generic frames" and pointed the right wall, "those are the designer frames" she uttered. While she looked outside. Never did she even try to be nice nor did she even suggested anything, as if she didnt want to sell anything. It took me less than a minute to walk out. Two weeks later (today)i find out that this practice, filed a secod visit to my insurance, although it was supposed to be a courtesy, as the front lady promissed. That is not right, they are dishonest. Stay away from this practice!! read more

I will be changing eye doctors. Third time I have been here. This time I've waited an hour and 30 minutes. Get put into the exam, it's been an additional 20. Ridiculous. And the way the doctor speaks to his staff is horrible. They are not allowed to speak unless spoken to, or to call our names. The staff looks and act miserable, and I cannot blame them. I will not, ever, come back to this practice. Please know you will have an unapologetically long wait, deal with miserable staff( to no fault of their own) sit within inches of the person next to you in an already way too crowded, confined space. I have been going here for a couple of years.There is not another Doctor I would trust besides Dr Chaundry with my eyes and my treatment.She also did LASIK on my brother and the results were amazing She is kind.Compassionate and really cares about all her patients.Your care is her main concern.She truly makes you feel like family .I highly recommend her to all looking for great care.I wish All doctors were like her and cared so much about her patients. read more

This was my first and last visit to IC Laser Eye Care. I was there for cataracts in both eyes and macular degeneration in both eyes. When I first arrived, the girl at the desk very rudely said "Do you have an appointment?". I very politely said I had a 5:30 appointment. She all but threw a clipboard at me and told me to sign in, which I did. I sat there from 5:20 to 6:00 with no-one calling me to the desk to do my new patient paperwork, pay my co-pay, etc. At 6:00 I called my daughter to come pick me up, I was leaving. I have been a patient of IC Laser on Knights Rd for the last 5 years and have always left satisfied and happy. I have gotten contacts, prescription glasses and eye check-ups and all of those services have been exceptional. Picking out glasses is not an easy thing because you want your glasses to look right with the shape of your face. Dianna the Optician is super nice, very knowledgeable and patient with me every time I visit. She has even made my 6 year old nephew feel confident and cool in his first pair of glasses! I definitely recommend checking this place out for all your vision needs. read more

I needed a Pterygium Removal surgery so I decided to go to their Bensalem office and right off the bat, I had a terrible experience. I made a appointment weeks in advance and had to wait over 2 hours. They made me pay before hand which I thought was out of the norm. When I requested an itemized receipt they told me that they couldn't provide one and after debating with them for 15 mins they finally agreed to mail me one later in the week. The doctor agreed I needed the surgery and stated someone would call me to make an appointment. Going on 2 months, no one had reached out to me. When I called to follow up, the representative told me someone would call me in 48 hours to make the appointment, but still 2 weeks later, no call. I finally called and requested to speak to a manager which they put me through to their scheduling manager Margarete and she was rude, had an attitude, and was very impatient with me. The process for me to even make the surgical appointment was ridiculous. I needed to get a physical, have the physical sent over to their office then go to their office to pay the deductible up front. They couldn't even give me a time of when the appointment would be....just ridiculous!!!! Just an terrible experience all the way around. A waste of time. read more

I been visiting this office since 2013 with my 4 kids and myself, never wait over 15 minutes, staff is excellent... they're very pleased and make you feel like a family... last time I had a problem with my insurance and they took care of me and my glasses until the insurance fix the problem, but my glasses was processed with no problem. Front desk is awful waiting for 6 months for follow up appt and can't make sure a referral came through. When an eye doctor makes the referral that means they can send the referral over even if staff I sits it must be a primary doctor. Be prepared to wait hours as our 1st visit we waited 2.5 hours to be seen for 3 minutes. Doctor was nice and medical staff as well... front desk needs some retraining read more

WORST PLACE EVER! Diane is the worst and so rude on the phone! My daughter waited over a month for her glasses! There was no communication from the office about the status of her glasses! When I called and talked to Diane, she claims that there was something wrong with my daughters glasses and they had to be sent back to the lab. BUT when I called my insurance company and they spoke to the lab they had no record of that so called conversation! The front desk staff is rude and I put in a formal complaint so that I could take my daughter somewhere else for her glasses! THE WORST EVER DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! read more

Used to be a good Dr, and office staff was great too. But,and a big "BUT". I don't know what happen between the time I was there in 2011 till now 2015. It is horrible. They are so over booked that the wait is over 1.5 hours on most visits. And then when you finally get to see the Dr. ( if you do not specify what Dr, you could get any number of Dr working there) you will be lucky if they spend 5 min with you. I went there for a very serious eye infection and was given an emergency appointment's it took over 2 hours to see the Dr for an emergency! Then had to go back 3 times because it did not get better! This dr was recommended by the ER staff that saw my toddler son after an eye injury. They were able to get us an appointment at 830am the following day which I was very happy about. I understand kids are hard to examine sometimes, especially their eyes, but the Dr looked at my sons eye for all of 3 seconds and told us he would need eye drops and ointment 4 times a day. I asked him how many hours between drops/ointment so I could give a detailed schedule to daycare since they require that. He then changed his mind to only two times a day for drops and no ointment needed. And we would need to be back in a week. I told them we were going out of town and if we could see a different dr out of state and he said oh no problem then come back in 2 weeks. I just felt like he didn't know what he was doing and was making stuff up as he went. Then when we came in for our follow up at 530 on a Wednesday, mid Covid, the entire waiting room was packed. They were obviously over booked. By 610 my toddler was screaming (outside because we didn't want to bother the room full of patients) so we left and didn't reschedule. I wouldn't recommend this practice as all. read more

Indignant attitudes from some of the girls at tbe front and they do not honor a "lifetime" warranty for replacement parts for the glasses. Tells me we have to start all over with another eye exam and order new glasses for an arm replacement. I will not be back. read more

i had appointment with Dr. and both agreed I needed cataract surgery. Delt with Miriam, she need to contact insurance and get process started. i kept calling numerous times over 6 or 7 weeks. I'm a fan! I have been going to Dr. Chaudrhy since March 2015 as I had an eye emergency. He and his team could not have been more caring and accommodating. There were times I waited but that is what happens when you go to a great doctor. Everyone wants to be treated by the best in the industry. I had several appointments and follow up appointments and each visit was thorough and I now have a clean bill of health for my eye. read more

Services are okay. Paperwork not so much. We have VSP insurance benefit which calls for $20 co-pay and IC Laser Eye Care in Bensalem Pa ended up charging us $30 medical co-pay. It took over a week of calling and they finally agree to credit $10 back to my credit card. This was couple of days ago. They also charge another co-pay for paperwork for the glasses (not sure what for). I ask them for itemize bill to find out and this is couple of days ago and still have not hear from them to pick up this bill. I AM NOT HAPPY AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a doctors office and it was purely the staff that make it so bad, The two doctors were wonderful. Their staff stink. First, my appointment was for 11am. I was not seen until after 1pm. Second, the desk staff (including the office manager) either were completely incompetent or they are running a scam. When I made the appointment I explained that I had a Medicare HMO as my primary and Medicaid as my secondary insurance, I asked if they accepted Medicaid and was told they did. When I get to the office on the day of my appointment., I was told I had a copay and my Medicaid would not cover it. They insisted that it did not, even the office manager, Diane. I was told that they would do me a "favor" this time and not charge me. Surprise - a call to Medicaid when I got home confirmed I was correct - they DO cover the copay. Personally, I think they are collecting the copays from their patients then turning around and billing Medicaid for the copay. At the very least, the staff, aside from being rude is grossly incompetent and do not know how to do their job - and when I called them on it were very condescending towards me. Lastly, they destroyed my wheelchair, When I rolled in, I had rubber on all four wheels. When I left, I was missing rubber from 3 out of 4 tires and they could not care less. Their explanation was, "I don't know". It's a shame that such good doctors are surrounded by such incompetence. I plan on never going back and telling all my friends and family about my experiences there. read more
