It's been a year but this is still one of my top two ice cream shops in Tampa. The ice cream was amazing. I love the fact that we can sample all the flavors. Although that makes it harder to choose because it's all so good. We had cookie butter, rum haven, cookies and dream, double chocolate and something else. The small is large enough! Fantastic as usual. The cotton candy is a hit! We love it! Not in your face sweet but good subtle hints. Also, we loved the red, white and blueberry too. Great flavor! Not a huge fan of the new layout because it feels smaller but I get why now (they said they need to move the freezers closer to the back). Pretty good ice cream shop located on SR 54, It is hidden in the back of a shopping center. I love peanut butter as you can tell and have never had it mixed with Oreo. It was a good mix topped off with the peanut butter sauce. The shop had some decent seating and board games as well. Good lighting and music put all the customers in a good mood and set the ambiance. So are you going to require no jewelry on the hands/wrist? Can you admit that mistake? FOOD SAFETY UPDATE: Despite Florida law allowing artificial nails with gloves, it's NOT a best practice and is, in fact, discouraged by leading food safety company ServSafe. Why? Because artificial nails harbor bacteria and are hard to clean well. One little tear in those VERY thin gloves I saw your employees wearing and you got E. coli in your ice cream. Yum or yuck? INGREDIENTS UPDATE: If you stand behind your product, be transparent and post your ingredients online. COUCH CLEANLINESS: For the record, the spots on the couch were dry like they were there a long time. Original post: Really disappointed with this place. I feel like their marketing ploy "homemade with love" and that they control the ingredients, etc is just that, a ploy. Why? Because I've eaten ice cream all over the world and always search for the best and can tell they don't use simple ingredients and definitely use some type of gum (xanthan, etc) in their most basic ice cream (vanilla). My family left there coughing and feeling like something was stuck to the inside of our mouth and throat. Haagen dazs vanilla is made with simple ingredients and doesn't make our mouths and throats feel like there is something sticking to them and definitely doesn't make us cough. The lutz location was uncomfortable with those terrible metal chairs you see at all new restaurants for some reason. It also was not very clean with ice cream spots on the "cozy" couch that was actually very uncomfortable. We moved to a table and a tall lamp was so close that it was hitting one of us in the head when they sat back. Food safety-wise, you can tell the owners don't pay much attention to their employees and don't enforce basic food safety rules like no jewelry on hands/wrists and no artificial nails. We had such a delightful experience today at this ice cream shop. From the moment we walked in, Jonalis (sorry if I am not spelling your name correctly!) warmly welcomed us and made our visit so enjoyable. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and patient while we sampled different flavors. Their positive energy truly made a difference in our day. The ice cream itself was fantastic, so creamy and flavorful. You could really tell they use high-quality ingredients. We especially loved the double chocolate coconut vegan ice cream, roasted coffee and cookies and dreams ice creams. There is a wide variety of flavors, some with alcohol. I had a flight which is 4 kids size cups. My favorites were double Chocolate coconut and solde 62 (pistachio). I also had chocolate bacon and chocolate velvet. They have cups and waffle cones (no other cones). The homemade cones are flimsy. You can get tastes of any other flavors you want to help you decide before ordering. They have toppings and free sprinkles. The shop is clean but very dark. Not all the lites were on. Hidden gem. Tucked in the back of a small shopping center this is the place for ice cream!! Service is as good as the ice cream. Helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Everything was delicious. For my ice cream flight I tried strawberry shortcake, coffee, rum haven and sol de 62. Sol de 62 was my favorite. Pistachio and caramel. So unique and full of pistachios. One of my favorite ice cream flavors now! Rum haven was a great adult flavor. Toasted coconut on top made it delicious. Coffee was nice and strong. Great coffee flavor. I think this is how my friend started the conversation for us to check out the Ice Dreammm Shop. I looked quickly online, and sure enough, it had 4.9 stars on Yelp and 4.9 stars on my preferred map website. It's rare that I see a place highly rated on both. I didn't want to ruin my opinion by reading further, so I pointed my car toward Ice Dreammm and kept an open mind. My mapping program directed me to the back of a commercial office plaza. The signs kept directing me to a beauty shop. Later I read other reviews mentioning signs pointing you to the ice cream, but I didn't notice any on the day I went. Anyway, it's next to the Dominican hair shop, so just follow the signs for hair if there aren't any signs for ice cream. It was pretty good. I had a chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup. Pretty creamy texture, didn't taste cheaply produced. The inside of the shop is cute, but it gives off coffee house vibes not ice cream parlor vibes. The combination of hidden-at-the-back-of-an-office-park and the dimly lit interior just made me question the "best in Florida" assertion. Later I found the ABC article stating that this is the 7th best ice cream in Florida and the 34th best ice cream in the US. I'd come back, but only if I was in the Lutz area. read more

We wanted to try a new place and found this on Yelp. Cute little shop and was really busy when we walked in. So appears that they do get a pretty good crowd. Walked up and chose our selections from their menu. Staff was super friendly. They do have some seating available. I got the strawberry shortcake, daughter got the coffee flavor and hubs got the sugar free chocolate. There was so many options on the menu and all I could focus in on was the strawberry shortcake that I totally missed any sugar free options. The location itself is a little tricky to find, but they have plenty of parking and some cool space outside with a picnic table for guests. When we arrived, there were a few people inside playing some board games and I noticed how they had quite a few seating options for people to sit to enjoy their ice cream. The board of flavors was easy to read and the girls behind the counter were so friendly! I love how they offer a flight of ice cream so that I can try multiple flavors! It was hard to decide, but I know my sister and I made good choices. They even have free "jimmies" for a topping which was just a perfect addition to our flight!
