The new shower products are an upgrade from the old ones. The reason my rating is low; The main issue I have here is that I frequently see people taking selfies in the locker room. I used to complain about it, but management doesn't seem to do anything. I get an email that it's serious or a phone call and I appreciate it, but nothing seems to happen. Just today, I went through the locker room to go to the party that the gym was having, and I saw a girl taking selfies in the locker room. Other women were changing there, so it wasn't like she was all alone. It's super easy to get photos of people changing in the background. I have easily seen people taking selfies in the locker room at least a dozen of times in the last couple years. We change there. We don't have our clothes on. Why is it okay to take a photo? Even if you aren't intending to photograph others, which most people aren't, people can easily show up in the background. It makes me so uncomfortable. I avoid changing in the locker room now, or if I do, I try to hide in the back. Changing in the bathroom stalls isn't easy because things can fall into the toilet and changing in the shower is wet and the showers sometimes get crowded. It has decreased how much I value this gym, and I am hesitant to recommend it to others. I pay a lot for the gym and amenities, but if I have to constantly look over my shoulder, it ruins the experience. And when I do shower here, I have to bring clothes I can immediately change into in the shower to minimize walking around undressed in case someone decides to take a selfie and I happen to be in the reflection in the mirror. This also limits my ability to do stuff in the locker room like put lotion on. If I complain, I feel l get labeled as a "Karen". Staff doesn't seem to care. People get upset if you talk to them, and I shouldn't have to. I get emails from management that they take this seriously, but if they did they could at least put prominent signs on the mirrors in the locker rooms or have staff members remind women in the locker room not to take photos.

You have to bring everything yourself -- even your own lock for the lockers unless you want to pay extra for one that already has a lock attached. For the membership prices they charge, that's ridiculous. The gym/workout area feels like an old budget fitness center from decades ago. Ancient equipment, outdated layout, and just an overall neglected feel. The entire club is in desperate need of a renovation. And if you're joining primarily for tennis, look elsewhere. Tennis clearly takes a backseat now because the club is dominated by pickleball courts. If you're a true tennis player, the nonstop loud popping noise from pickleball paddles will drive you insane. To make things worse, they don't even have a proper app for court reservations. In 2026, you still have to CALL IN to reserve a court like it's 1995. There are far better tennis clubs in Orange County that actually invest in their facilities and tennis programs.

Too hard to find open swim time, too hard to properly staff lifeguards, too hard to get funding to finish the pool remodel, too hard fathoming the loss of all that money updating a clubhouse that was in better shape than the pool. Too hard justifying $85 per month, year 'round, and soon to increase...again. We'll miss the tennis courts...easily the best part and most under used part of the club. Epic Friday night family parties with the kids safely swimming (with a lifeguard) while the folks get hammered. Campfire smores, good friends and a wonderful staff. See ya.......................

For example, their CS4 circuit classes target your lower body majority of the time, so if you are a runner then you risk overtraining legs or if you want an upper body workout then you have to just go to their overcrowded weights area. What especially sucks is their hours. They close early on the weekends at 6 pm. Especially during the summer when the sun sets around 7:30pm, you're not really able to get a night gym sesh in. Wish there were an. I think this gym is more for people who enjoy taking classes than those who want an open-gym experience.

I wish there were designated stretching areas but you can stretch in front of your rack if that's where you are working out otherwise you just have to find a space. The locker room is bad, too crowded. Not enough lockers. Not enough toilets. The sauna - horrible. It only holds 8 people at a time, the steam room is even worse 5, if that. The showers are decent, plenty of room to do what you need to do. I've only done cycle classes, they are basically HITT workouts high RPM, High heart rate, but only 45 minutes. There as a recovery area where there are massage chairs, Normatec goodies for use and hyperice massage guns....and vibration plates. Very nice! Is it worth it.
