But, within 1.5 hour we already went on most of the rides we wanted to go on. And still had 1.5 hours to go as the band is for 3 hours. We showed up a few minutes before it opened at 10 AM and the lady behind the desk let us pay and go in. Our three youngest kids got in for free which was great because at 12 bucks a person, it really felt like a waste of money even for the two older kids who barely played golf. since the course is fenced in, we adults were able to play around each of the holes as our kids ran wild across the empty course. We did of course have to limit them, to keep them from climbing on top of the mini castle, etc. they were fascinated by the hole where when the golf ball doesn't make it to the other side of the stream, it gets sent down and out a log onto the bottom part of the course and they would carry the golf balls back up to the stream and drop them in just to see them roll out down below. It's fun to take the kids to for a few hours or just stop in for a game or 2. This also creates a nice balance of people just handing their 20 tickets to cute kids in there and making children's day because they just wanted to play a game or 2, not earn prizes. My kids have gotten extra tickets from nice strangers on multiple occasions. There are definitely nicer arcades in the area, but they are not the boardwalk and they are usually more expensive. Because it's the boardwalk, it feels a little used and abused. All of this aside, you won't find a better arcade on the boardwalk and it's air conditioned. Let me say that again, air conditioned on hot summer days! Go, have some fun, enjoy the games and this boardwalk staple establishment.

The dinosaurs all looked happy and healthy, the "greens" were in good shape, all of the seating appeared to have been painted and refreshed, and they installed large umbrellas to help keep players in the shade. Overall it felt like an upgraded experience. The cost is $12 per person and kids 3 and under are free.
