In order for your small child to go on a ride, even as simple as the carousel, Trimper requires a parent to also pay to ride. This is senseless. The rides are nostalgic but not above any carnival. Excluding old rollercoaster. You also must pay 5-8 dollars to go on the average ride unless you buy a wristband. A wristband is $50 at night. Yes. You heard me. For average carnival grade rides. So before you decide to walk past these rides and let your toddler talk you into it.... Bribe them with ice cream and save your money.

Always great to visit in the evening to enjoy all the lights. This year it was not overly crowded. The lines were short and the kids got on multiple times with no wait. The park was clean and had an easy flow to get around. They have outdoors and indoor rides. Keep in mind the indoor rides are for younger children. The unlimited wristbands were $40 each with a card to be scanned for each ride. Overall the kids had a good time and I got my step goals for the day.

We drove alll the way here from Bethany Beach after abandoning Funland at Rehoboth because they were literally charging $20/person for an hour and a half of walking around WATCHING your kids on games. So it would have cost us $120 (2 & 6 year olds, parents and grandparents) to just watch the kids and they wouldn't even let us go in to figure out what rides, if any the 2 year old could ride. Ugh. So, we put our coins back in our pockets and drove to Ocean City where Trimper's greeted us with more rides, and no cover for non-riders! For $60, we all got to watch the boys and my husband (the designated parent) ride around on a dozen or so delightful rides. The only caveat to the review is that the $20 is a timed limit and they had several rides that were broken (the kids bumper boats and Ferris wheel) and several being manned by one operator so there was a long wait between which made it more annoying that the wristbands were timed. Overall 90 minutes is about what you need to get all the fun you Can out of this place with very small kids, but the kids LOVED it and for that reason alone, it gets 5 stars! The staff members are also kind and accommodating, and they do an excellent job cleaning between rides. Going on the Tuesday after Labor Day meant it was the end of the season so the lines were shorter and it was so much fun!

Fun park! Probably hands down the best on the boardwalk! The haunted house is a must try!

Nice old like playland but off the ocean. Kids loved it all and very comfy air after sundown. Bring plenty cash and your DRINK in a togo travel cup Tickets for rides go quick HA

The shooting gallery is my favorite.

Perfect for our 3.5 year old! He had so much fun and was able to do so much. Plus, we found all the ride attendants to be GREAT with kids.

This park has over 15 amusement park rides (Not including the Jolly Roger park from the boardwalk) and a water park. Prices can range from $10.00-$80.00 depending on if you are buying individual tickets for the rides or a wristband for all the rides. They do I have combo passes for the water park and Speedworld together. They also have a Go-Kart place called Speedworld. Many go-karts tracks and a new zipline is at Speedworld which is right next door. This location is on 30th street in ocean city Maryland. We did not do the water park or Speedworld. This is just for the amusement park on 30th street. As soon you drive up to the park. You see a bunch of rides and mini golf courses with go-karts and a water park. There is so much to do. There is parking in front and more towards the back. The parking lot is only one way so you shouldn't have a problem following the signs to the back if you can't park in the front. Parking is free for guest. As you walk towards the park, you see a big entrance with pirate theme. You have customer service building and a some ticket booths. You go up to the ticket booth and get your tickets or wristbands. You walk to the left and you see many rides, carnival games and food places. There is a couple more rides in the back which is the Ferris Wheel and the roller coasters. They have three roller coasters. Wacky Worm, The Barracuda, and WildCat. Wacky Worm is more for kids and the other two roller coasters is more for adults/family. We only rode the wildcat coaster and Barracude. Which is all the way in the back of the park. The wildcat stands pretty tall and can be seen through the whole park. It's a ok park but not the best. The park was clean and didn't even seem a piece of trash on the floor. The bathrooms was cleaned during our visit. They do make sure that the park is clean and nice for their guests. We do go on a weekday which wasn't really too busy. We did try the food. We got the bacon hotdog. It was ok, nothing really to special. To me, it was more like something you would make at home but it was still good. The staff was so nice and friendly. They even had a smile on their face. They welcoming guest to Jolly Roger park and that is amazing to see. I do feel like the ride operators should be more engaging though. They are the key and butter of the park. They didn't seem like it but hey, That's just the atmosphere of the rides apartment. To me, the park seem more like a kids/family park. There isn't enough thrill rides for thrill seekers or adults. They have wildcat and Barracude but those seem more like family coasters as well. I just feel like the park need more thrill rides. I understand that they are kinda old school park and landlocked but it just didn't seem fun to me like other parks or like Trimper park which is only a couple streets down from Jolly Roger Park. They have more modern and more thrilling rides for the whole family and have more of a selection for everyone and not just a family selection. I would recommend adding more rides if they can to help more options for the whole family to play and enjoy the park even more. It just feels more like the park is there and not invested into like other parks but that's just my opinion. Do we recommend Jolly Roger Amusement Park on 30th street. Yes and no if that make sense. Yes because if you have a family and kids ages between 3-12 then yes because kids would love this park as there is many things to do for them but anyone older than that I wouldn't recommend. Definitely if you are a couple like we was. It just kinda was boring and we didn't feel the excitement like you would in any other amusement park that you should during your visit. We recommend for older crowds to go to Trimper park down the road or even the boardwalk Jolly Roger Park, since there is more thrilling rides than this one on the 30th street. We also going on a weekend if you do decide to go because weekends are probably busier. Overall 3.9/5

It is the highlight of our trip seeing what has changed and what acts they have added. It doesn't matter whether it's your first or in our case 15th time seeing the show, it always is amazing, fun and entertaining. I hope they bring them back next year! We also love the fact that the rides are pay to play, so we don't have to spend an entire admission for the day, we come back every night and do a few rides a games. Our boys love doing the race track too and were happy to find they can now drive go karts themselves. Can't wait to be back next year!

They have tons of people on staff so we always felt safe in the water attractions. The lockers were clean and the bathrooms vs changing rooms were separate which helps maintain the cleanliness of the place. Prices of the locker were reasonable. Lazy river was the most relaxing but my kiddos really enjoyed the wave pool and the climbing apparatuses. Fun spot to keep cool in the summer sun and generally, a nice open space. There are two sides to the park, lockers on both. Food is served on one side only, think hot dogs and ice cream. Otherwise, you're allowed to leave the park and bring food in from the adjacent Jolly Roger theme park. They are literally next to one another. Best part for those that just want to take a dip and then get some sun, plenty of lounge chairs available with and without shade as needed. I did come during the Summer 2021 (Aug./Sept. 1st week) during the pandemic but I felt very safe and socially distanced from others. It was not crowded either but I'm betting during the normal summer months, it could be much more packed. I guess I lucked out on the timing. POP tickets gets you admission to multiple parks or you can choose a combo ticket for select parks. My family and I scored a coupon at our local hotel and the Town Tourist catalog. Be sure to check, saves money on admission. Plus, our combo ticket got us a free game of mini golf. The tickets also allow you to do multiple days so they don't expect you to finish all the parks in a day (you just can't, but enough hours in the day). LOL They are located just before the Speedway Park which is also a blast!
