Went during a weekday, not at peak tourist season, and it was a fun experience for me and the kiddo. It wasn't crowded, parking was easy, and we were able to just have relaxed play and have fun. My only nitpick was the bathroom could have been a little nicer, but it wasn't gross or anything. If it's not crowded, it's a fine place to get your putt-putt. read more

The mini golf here is above average in the area, but not the best. There was a backup of players so you had to wait about 5 minutes between holes. The course was fun and had a lot of decorations and water features. The go kart course was quite small. They also have funnel cakes and ice cream onsite which were tasty. read more

Viking Golf Amusements is a small family-owned and operated amusement park located just seconds north of Ocean City, Maryland. It features a 19-hole miniature golf course, a small go-kart track, a small water park, and various concessions. This was my first time here. I was here with my family including one adult with his two young elementary school children. We ordered two double Go-karts for $8 each or $16 in total for the four of us. His children rode as passengers in our two go-karts because his children were not tall enough to drive the go-karts by themselves. Only our two go-karts raced. I went first and held my position during the race. The go-kart track is rather small and not so exciting compared to other available go-kart tracks. read more

This mini-golf and amusement center is centrally located in Fenwick, and is our go-to for playing mini golf. They also have go-karts and sell ice cream and souvenirs. We always have fun playing here, and taking pictures of the some of the Viking-themed areas. It's always a fun place for a break from the beach! read more

We came here on a busy Saturday summer night and didn't have to wait long to play each hole. The place itself is well maintained, and decorated according to their Viking theme. The price is the same as the other mini golf places around the area. They even offer unlimited play for only $2 more which is a plus. Located on a busy intersection so you can't miss it. Nice course! Part of a small attraction that includes this, a water park, go karts, gift shop, restaurant etc right on the Delaware Maryland border. We got two holes in one and we aren't pros. Go to the after park first if u do because it gets hot and there's little shade - being damp was a definite plus. We went during the day and it was steady but not busy. I thought the mini golf course had great theming. You do pay for all 18 holes. No choice to just do 9 like at some other locations.

The course is very mediocre for the price they charge. Only went their because grandson saw the two headed dragon. The cups on some holes need some refabricating as they deflected ball away from the hole. Buccaneers Booty had better laid out holes and was better kept. read more

We went to Viking golf today. My granddaughter got the free game in the last hole and was thrilled. We then went to the attendant and was told it didn't count since we were there before 5:00 pm when there is unlimited play. There was no sign noting this and seem very unfair. We weren't going to play another round that day but she could have used the free game on another day. It seem like they don't care about customer returning. We certainly will not be back. read more

Viking Golf seemed so promising; the putting greens were bright, shiny and new, the Viking décor and signage were freshly painted and it just looked snazzy. But that's about as good as it got. Prior to paying, I visited their restrooms. They were easily the worst I had ever set foot in - they smelled, there was no soap, toilet paper or paper towels. I felt disgusting breathing in there. Thankfully I had purell in my purse. Whew. This course seemed to be way more expensive than what we had been paying at other courses all weekend. $8 for a game before noon? Coupled with the nasty bathroom and rude guys manning the cash register, I was really put off and we hadn't even started golfing yet! The bright and shininess of the course really messed up my game. Because the greens were so new there was a lot more resistance when hitting the ball and it was just really unpleasant to deal with all the way throughout the course. If you tapped the ball, it barely moved! At least some of the holes were creative, interesting and kind of fun to play when I wasn't slamming my club into the ground because my putt was screwed up. And yes, I get that that's how it goes in golf - but this is mini-golf for crying out loud! I'm not on some country club golf course trying to hit a ball out of the rough and whining about it. Anyway, in my opinion, a second visit does not need to be paid to Viking Golf as there are cheaper, friendlier and better mini-golf courses to play in the Tri-Beach area. read more

Only for the go karts: First of all, the carts are VERY loud making it hard to hear anything else. Carts are old and need updates desperately. The track is very small even with some curves added this summer. The rude Eastern European employees make you intimidated to even drive the go karts as well. The main reason I am giving this one star was the safety of the karts. My sister was having a great time passing by everyone until she began to loose control. She eventually crashed and almost flung out of her seat, breaking the seatbelt. She escaped with a big bruise across her chest, which ultimately made her scared to go in the ocean as well. She claimed the break on her old kart was stuck and could not stop. If your going to have go karts, make sure they are up to safety procedures. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE ON VACATION. read more

We took my 3 year old son here for his first mini golf experience. He found the trolls alittle scary but it was all good. The holes are short but that might be standard here in the OCMD area. We haven't been to any other mini golf in the area to compare it to. The price tag at this joint was $9.50 a person and $5 for my 3 year old. I know some other places in the area offer free golf for 3 and under so the fact that we had to pay for him was a bit sucky. We did go here in the daytime to beat any nighttime rush. I would imagine this place, like every other mini golf joint down here gets super busy in the evening hours when it cools off. read more

All holes were par 2 and had a ledge around the hole to help the ball fall in. So it was a little easy, recommended for families with kids! I got 3 or 4 holes in one, where my boyfriend I don't think got any... I beat him on this most recent trip so I think he is a little bitter. But we definitely had a lot of fun! The putt putt course was clean and well kept for the most part, I enjoyed the details in the designs of the things around the course. However, I advise to not use the bathroom... it is SO gross. I unfortunately had to go a couple times and the second time I walked in pulled out the TP to see that it was kind of discolored with yellow spots and there was a hair in the handful I grabbed. I dropped it and left... couldn't do it! The sink also looked like you would get more germy opposed to just not washing your hands. I enjoyed how it is right on the mini boardwalk in Finwick, it gives it a cozy feel, as you can watch people walk by shopping and eating ice cream. I wish there were a more challenging putt putt place in OC, but this one was pretty decent for being kinda easy. read more

Overall, I was not happy with the mini golf course here at Viking golf. $9.50 per person is reasonable, but after playing through the whole course, I don't think it was worth it. The holes were all very short, tightly crammed in together back to back in the relatively small area the course is relagated to. The putting greens were covered in a felt carpet like material, which allowed for easy and good upkeep. But sometimes there were bumps and slightly uneven surfaces under the felt, which could cause the ball to randomly deflect slightly left or right, out of its normal path. Overall, there are many better mini golf courses in the area, such as any of the Old Pro golf courses or even the Australian themed course right across the street. read more

So this mini golf place called Viking Golf is wonderful for kids! We love the trolls and goblins:) I've been to many mini golf spots that are a little run down but they keep this place looking new and high quality. It's only $4.50 if your kid is under 42" but my son is tall at 8 years old so he was 8$. It's worth the money and you can also ride go carts in the back as well as access a cool water park within 200 feet of the golf course. Lots of cotton candy and food here because it's put into a "Fenwick Boardwalk" atmosphere (it's really one block from Ocean City MD right on the line at around 146th street) I recommend every age try this cute course. Hint: I don't play, I just walk with my son so he can play and I save 8$. Also, silly side note, the course is excellent but very sculpted in its terrain so of course I fell and skinned my knee pretty good because I was not watching where I was stepping:( my fault completely but there are lots of fun decorations and sound effects so I guess that's what distracted me. We were at the Go Kart last week. Attendant was really rude and yelling at us even before we started. This is not like he had a long day and lot of crowd. This was around noontime and nobody in the queue except us and no one is rushing him. The go cart place is really small with tight corners and easy to get stuck especially for kids. They didn't tell what to do when you get stuck or nothing. Some kids in our group got stuck and he starts yelling at them. Worst service you can get in a vacation town. Don't go to this place. read more

Mosquitoes!!!! Was swarmed by mosquitoes the minute we walked onto the course. Had to battle them the whole course. My sons and I have multiple bites and we killed dozens of them as they swarmed. They need to invest in an exterminator to get this under control. Have been many times and always enjoyed, but I don't think I am ever going back. Unfortunate. Decided to take a day off from beach and try this mini golf course. This one caught our eye because of the course theme (we thought our kids would have fun looking at all the different trolls, ect). Prices were reasonable for mini-golf. Most of the holes had some type of challenge to them that made each hole fun to putt. Four out of five stars because the course felt cramped but likely a product of being at the beach and needing to make most of every square inch of land. Seriously, save yourself the trouble and go an extra few blocks to any one of many Old Pro mini golf courses in OCMD. This course is simply not challenging, and it's not a fun themed course like all of the Old Pro courses. Sure, there's a Viking theme in theory but you're at about the 14th hole before you even notice the theme. read more

Gotta give this place five stars it was awesome and fun the corse was challenging but the five stars goes to Cody for going above and beyond for my family he even started up the go karts for me and my sister to race. We went to the water park side with our kids who are 2 and 4. It is exactly the right place to take them, almost all the slides are built for the average 3-6 year old. The place is small but it was exactly what we were looking for with the kids. The have 2 big slides that anyone over 42" tall can ride but I rode double with our kids. Love this course! It's challenging but not too hard, and lots of fun. It's kept up very nicely and we always have a blast!

This was a fun afternoon for my 16 and 12 year old. The park was extremely clean and well maintained. I believe it was renovated this year. There was plenty of seating although more shade would have been nice. It is a pretty small park but that will appeal to parents with several kids to keep track of. You can purchase 2 or 4 hours, but the difference is only six dollars a head so we went with four. My kids were done after 2 1/2 hours or so but I think if they had been a few years younger the park had a lot more to offer. I think this is a great option for families. read more

If you're solely going here for mini golf then I would advise you just go to the Old Pro Golf courses instead which are all scattered throughout Ocean City. Viking golf does have a unique theme and it is a nice change from the similarity of the courses in Ocean City, but for the price it's nothing more than just an above average golf course. read more

Reasonably priced for the beach at $9.00 per person Par 2's on all of the holes gives impression the course is easy but don't let that fool you as the holes can be challenging at various points. All in all a fun place to pass the time and make memories. read more
