We got in too early to grab a drink at the diner/bar, but it was nice to get a feel for what Ice ergs really is. If you're a swimmer, it's a winter swim club. And they are just closing the winter season. The Pacific waters can be pretty chilly, so this place can provide a slightly warmer option The staff were super nice and let me take a gander. The pool area has a gym, two pools, and the swimmers amenities to make your workout worth it. Also on site is the coffee joint Crabbe Momma's.

Such a wonderful restaurant. While the staff are still a little arrogant, the food and views are still sensational, the vibe fabulous, so it's still one of the best places to take out-of-towners. 4 stars as the place is just so damn expensive especially the wine.

An iconic cocktail bar and restaurant at Bondi Beach. Definitely overpriced and overhyped but the meal was nice nonetheless. We sat in the bar area to have some lunch (instead of going into the formal restaurant with a tasting menu only). As a cocktail bar, they do NOT sell warm drinks even in winter, with the exception of mulled wine. For food, we got the insalata terzini (simple, fresh, good), the king prawn roll (six fried shrimp on a hotdog roll with spicy aioli), and the beer battered dory and chips. The prawn roll was actually quite amazing, and the chips were perfectly cooked. Stop in for a quick bite and drink, then be on your way.

In short, don't come. Visit the walk-in bar or Icebergs Club instead. Icebergs Dining Room left me feeling robbed. A$130 pp for 2 entres. A$20 for mocktails. What a scam. I came for the view, and yet the outdated dining room's dirty shingle windows all but blocked it. Sitting at a table in the center of the room didn't help either. In fact, there is no direct view of the Icebergs pool anywhere in the dining room. The food was okay. My cod was flavorless. The octopus salad was squishy. And the wagyu was raw and lacking in the taste department as well. If you're charging A$155 for a meal, at least make it good. This was nothing to write home about, not to mention the unfocused and unorganized mess of a menu. I cannot recommend Icebergs Dining Room. The bar, which is situated in the renovated side with a better view, takes walk-ins. The swim club downstairs has a view of the pool and beach, and much more affordable food. Don't let the modern website fool you, Icebergs Dining is poised to disappoint.

We just had lunch here and had to gush about it before I forgot! First, the view is great. Right next to the water, you see the beach, all the surfers riding vs wiping out on the waves, and the picturesque pool sitting right up against the ocean waves. You get a pretty good sight wherever you sit, and there's outdoor seating also available, but pretty hot during lunch, since it isn't shaded. Now the food. SO GOOD. I got the fish of the day, which was the blue-eye trevalla. Got it pan-seared and it was just so crispy, yet meaty, and perfectly flavored. Really enjoyed this dish. Came garnished with some greens and mashed potato. Can't go wrong with this one. Service was very attentive and kind. Word to the wise. Apparently tipping is new to Australia. It's a given in the US, but in Australia, it's an additional bonus and locals here recommended just rounding up to the nearest $5 or 10 for a pricey meal.

The bar area has a great view, like most of the restaurant!

My husband and I went here as one of our stops on our honeymoon. I'm obsessed with the pool! So when we saw the restaurant we knew we had to stop in. We were so glad we did. We had a beer and wine with a charcuterie board and fries! So delicious and such a great view. Literally. Can't. Even!!! We were on a 16 night cruise and Sydney was one of the last stops in Australia. We both had backpacks on our backs, so I'm sure we looked liked backpackers. Along our trip we've noticed you get different service depending on how you look. There's a stigma with backpackers we found out pretty quickly. On the first couple days of our adventure. So for those traveling, be aware! Some places may be less inclined to give you excellent service. We encountered that more in Sydney and Melbourne more than anywhere else. However, we still enjoyed every minute of being in such a beautiful place with a great view for an afternoon drink and light lunch! Our server was very nice and more friendly after finding out where we came from and what kind of trip we were on.

A must stop for drinks on Bondi. Icebergs is where the famous swimming pools in nearly every photo of Bondi you've ever seen are located. There are plenty of other pools along the Bronte to Bondi walk but Icebergs is the most famous. We didn't eat at the restaurant but rather headed to the bar right off the main pathway. Drinks were great, specifically the aperol spritz & espresso martini. Given that we came midday on a weekend, it wasn't overly crowded but the top deck is fairly small so I imagine ok then the weekend it would be very busy.

So I've been here for lunch 3 times now. First time wasn't very busy & my party of 4 scored a table on the balcony very quickly. The past 2 times however the place was mobbed & we felt like sharks in the water circling for a table. It would be very nice if they had a better system for assigning tables. Aka, waiting list. Anyhoo onto the food. First time ordered a salad & order of calamari. Salad was underdressed but I guess I prefer that to overdressed. Calamari a little chewy & not very exciting. At least it was better than their shumai that my friend ordered. Way too big & gummy. Should have been half the size. Next visit with my waking mate we ordered wings & potato wedges with sour cream & chili dipping sauce to share. These were both on point. Crispy, not greasy wings. Lovely taters. Last visit best meal of all the prawn linguini. Would order again in a heartbeat but needs to be served with a piece of toast. Hope one day they will work out the seating arrangement a little better but I'll keep giving them a try.

Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 Decor & Style: 5/5 Come here for the views! It's amazing. However, the food is just slightly above average and so is the beer. We came, had calamari, took some pictures, then went to the beach. I'd recommend everyone to come here if they are a tourist, gotta see the views!

Location, location, location! Absolutely incredible place to relax with a drink, and the food's not bad too! We were lucky to grab a table on the balcony on New Year's day for some early evening cocktails into dinner. I must say, the mule jug, though it doesn't taste very boozy, is a great bang for your buck considering it's only a few more dollars than a single mule and you'll get a little over four drinks from it. At our table we had the prawns, mussels, and Caesar salad. Everything tasted great and came in large portion sizes. I only wish we could've been there when it wasn't crazy busy, but even then it was a very special place that we won't forget.

We came at 8pm on a Sunday evening and it was packed so we put our name down and came back later. There are 16 options for pasta "sauces" that include a variety of meat, vegetables, herbs, etc. Then you choose from home-made pastas: gnocchi, fettuccine, spinach/ricotta ravioli, veal ravioli, penne or spaghetti. Per our friends suggestion we went with the fettucine pasta with the Bassano sauce (italian sausage, exotic mushrooms, porcini, fresh basil and sage, Napoli, dash of cream). It was AMAZING! The home-made noodles were cooked to perfection and the sauce was absolutely delicoius. It was $25 for the secondo (main) size which I think is reasonable. We also ordered the Parmagiana Catania (eggplant parmesan) that comes with bread and a side salad. It wasn't anything unique but the portion size was huge and the side salad helped balance out the heavy cheesy dish. Oh yeah, the garlic bread we ordered as a starter was awesome. With 2 mains, garlic bread and 1 glass of wine the bill came to $66 for two people. Not bad! We'll be back to eat our way through the rest of their menu!

I had a reservation which wasn't necessary this particular night, but a good idea nonetheless. If you don't request a private table (which I didn't) you will get seat at the big long group table, which is not intimate if you are on a date, but it's kinda fun to be surrounded by company and very Italian. We started off with a meat board for the entree (salami, prosciutto, etc). We then shared two pasta dishes for the main. One was similar to a ravioli (mezzelune) stuffed with ricotta and the other a long noodle (pappardelle) with meat sauce (their signature). You could taste the freshness in the noodles, which was not surprising considering they are hand made on site. The sauces were on point and the flavor palette was top notch. My biggest complaint was that the portions were not nearly big enough for the steep prices - left me wanting much more! But in terms of freshness, ingredients and quality, two big enthusiastic thumbs up. The signature dessert which was recommended by the wait staff (Cremino Al Cioccolato) was out of this world. One of the best desserts I've ever had. It was essentially a layered mousse with pudding texture, but so complex. There was chocolate, hazelnut, salted caramel gelato in there somewhere, with some crunchy biscuit sprinkled about, and a lovely meringue on top. Words don't do it justice - just make sure you don't leave without getting it. If I got hit by a bus on the way out, I could die happy about eating there. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly as well. The menu is very Italian but they explained everything well and were able to recommend a good wine for me based on my tastes. Hefty price to pay but worth the splurge for a special occasion.
