I would not trust this place - we paid over $400 to repair a cracked screen on a Samsung ("it will be like a new phone") - couple weeks later it would get hot, turn off, disconnect from calls - we went back -"oh you need to use a different charger" - we did that - same thing - went back again - it needs a new battery - another $125 - it has gotten even worse and shuts off multiple times even when not in use - doesn't hold a charge - and we are out almost $600! I got robbed goin to fix my cell phone here. First of all they changed my batteries and screen but never fixed the issue I went there for. Another this was, the battery they installed was NOT COMPATIBLE with the iphone. Also my phone was not able to charge. My phone is now dead and overheating and unable to turn on or charge. They ripped me off and charged me 260$ for a screen and a WORTHLESS BATTERY .ZERO RATING on my book. Trust me I know what is good service and that ain't it. Incomplete service. I took my IPhone X for a swim in the ocean by accident. And then the apple logo kept flashing on and off. I thought the phone was done for! Took it in here anyway with a glimmer of hope that it can be fixed. David helped me out big time, super nice guy. He explained to me that there was heavy corrosion in the phone but he got all of the corrosion out and replaced the motherboard, phone works cherry now. Reasonable prices and excellent service. I went in with a brand new phone that just had a cracked screen but still worked perfectly fine, decided to replace the screen here the day of. Right after I left the mall my phone completely stopped working and had bright lines and random glitches all o the screen. Went back the next day after not being able to use it at all and the employees first question was "how soon did you drop it again after you left?" I said I didn't and got it fixed again because of the warranty but now the touch sensitivity is really off and won't click things when I want them to and will open up random things just from scrolling over them. If you need to get your phone fixed just go somewhere else!! They offer people discounts to write good reviews for them before you pay and inspect your phone. read more

Replaced glass on my iPhone6. I called for appointment first and then it was fixed within an hour. I also reported something was wrong with my front camera. the image was really blurry. I authorized him to replace the camera lens if needed. When I came back, I was pleasantly surprised to hear that it just needed to be cleaned (I had the glass replaced before at a different place). Excellent service and since consider the shop trustworthy since they didn't replace my camera lens. I would use this shop again. read more

Horrible Customer Service!!! went into store specifically asking for a WATERPROOF case david the manager was there he pointed out two cases one with plastic face cover one with open face cover I told him I wanted the open face took my phone into water and case was not water proof took my phone to david and he said he cant do nothing its lifeproofs fault. I had a rather terrible time at i cell hawaii. I wanted to come into the store to ask for quality service. But recieved none. Jist like there product. It already costs an arm and a leg to but it, and it is shit. It is so annoying to have to pay over $100 for the broken phone back which it took me 2min to repair and $20 to buy a new one. So it first took 2 hours to put the back on the first time, and then i had to return because it wouldnt stick. This is absolutely rediculous. These are insane prices that come with shit service. So.... I'm totally disappointed and upset after I went to this shop. Highly do not recommend this shop for fixing apple products. I'm really frustrated & irritated with the way they handled my brand new iphone 8 Plus. I've been without my cell phone for awhile due to this unfortunate situation. The girl working there messed up my NEW iphone 8 plus when she tried to replace the screen display. She said this is a common problem & that Apple recently had a recall on this model. She obviously did not tell me the truth about the recall and used it as an excuse to protect herself. I went to Apple's premier partner shop in Kihei the next day. The guy said she definitely messed up your phone. Also, she didn't put my phone back together properly. She left a little black seal hanging out on side of my phone cover. When I went to the iCell shop, she said it would take just 45 minutes to fix it. That's why I left my phone with her. I didn't want to leave my phone at the shop for a long period of time. Now, I totally regret bringing my phone to this shop in the first place. All she did was demobilize my phone and make the situation much worse than when I initially brought it in. I should have checked the yelp reviews first as other customers have had the exact same problem/issue happen to them. I hope no more people have to experience what I went through with this brand new iphone that costs a lot of money... I highly recommend Apple's premier partner shop in Kihei to fix any Apple products even if it takes a little more time. It's well worth it!!! read more

I'm doing this review because I had a really horrible experience this past week at this store. I took my daughters phone in because of a cracked screen and home button for her IPhone 7 Plus. I had dropped it of expecting an estimate to fix it. Upon return to pick up the phone the screen was repaired but the home button was not. The person who fixed it charged me $150 then stated he could not fix the home button. I felt obligated to pay despite the fact that I did not get an estimate and despite that it was not completely fixed. I was told only Apple service center could fix it but that it's better to just get a new phone. I left the store feeling scammed because I payed $150 for a phone that was not fixed. Upon coming home I contacted Apple and was told that there was no point fixing the screen since the home button that was cracked can only be fixed by Apple. So why did this company fix it without consent and knowing that only Apple could really fix the phone. At the same time they offered a replacement phone for $350. When I called the guy who fixed it, David stated he was the manager and that nothing could be done. He was rude and condescending and definitely did not have the warm local mentality and aloha that we have living here. I will definitely file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. read more

Went here with a brand new phone that I just got a week ago... broke my screen while waiting for my case in the mail so decided to bring it here to fix. Phone didn't have any problems before as it was brand new and I had just upgraded it. Ever since I brought it here my phones been experiencing problems. Glitching and freezing. I have been reading some of the negative posts for this store. It seems to me that is all more negative towards the store policies than the workers that have nothing to do with it. All I can state here is my personal experience. I have a 33 year old son with anxiety, panics, Tourette's, etc. Before this store I went to the Kihei store...sadly, zero compassion, nor understanding, even after me explaining the difficulties my son faces. I am not writing this to put down a store, but to compare what I found in service with the Kaahumanu store. We met Rex...a God sent...he was so understanding and PATIENT, he earn my son's trust immediately, specially with his OCD, thinking that anything he might do to his phone might erase his data. Every time my son has difficulties/questions about his phone, Rex is always willing to help, knowing that each time, my son takes over 1 hour of his time, repeating the same question until satisfied. Rex NEVER seems inpatient or upset, always answering the same question in a nice way. They have make it so comfortable that they offer us appointments so my son does not have to wait too long if Rex is w/a client. And is not only Rex...Joshua Smith, Alexander, Jamele and Des are always happy, asking if we have been helped, if there's anything we need, always in a cordial, friendly manner. BUYER BEWARE...I recently took my phone in to iCell to get fixed for water damage. I was told it would be $35 to fix and I would be contacted if it was going to be more. Okay, cool. I was adamant that I didn't want to invest a lot in fixing the phone because I had gotten it for pretty cheap and would rather just get a new one if it was going to be too expensive to fix. Received a call the next day that my phone was ready for pickup...went in and was told it was going to be an ADDITIONAL $160 because they had to replace my battery and my screen. NOT COOL. The gentleman working wasn't the same person I had spoken to originally, so I left my phone in the store and said I would come back when Miriam, the woman I had first had contact with, was working. I came in this morning and Miriam wouldn't even allow me a word in edgewise. When I asked if I could see invoices for the two parts she claimed to have replaced, Miriam said I could see the receipts AFTER I paid for the work. I said I wasn't going to pay until I verified that the phone was working and that she had proof that the new parts were legit. At this point, she called the police and mall security. She still had my phone but told the police I was trying to "steal" a phone I had never paid for and was threatening her. The police showed up, we all exchanged words, I JUST wanted to see either a receipt for the new parts or be allowed to leave with my phone. Finally, the cops asked Miriam to just take her parts out of the phone and give it back so I could leave peacefully. She agreed. She opened up my phone and MY ORIGINAL BATTERY AND SCREEN were still there!! She hadn't replaced anything at all, obviously why she couldn't show me a receipt for the new parts! At this point, I left, which I should have been able to do in the first place because the parts she claimed she had replaced were never in my phone at all. As soon as I receive my copy of the police report and the audio/video footage showing that I was totally cooperative, I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau to find out what my next steps should be--I don't think a business that blatantly lies to customers and lies to the police should be allowed to operate on Maui. the phone together which was missing!! ( i could have done this myself as i have done many iphone repair myself ) i went back asap as i was still at the parking lot and advised mariam that the screen is falling off. i watch closely when she open it back up to, all she did was loosen the 2 screw at the bottom and pry it up a lil bit and the screen came off. this confirm the adhesive to screen is missing and repair poorly with cheap parts. during the repair my charging port stop working, it was working fine with the crack screen before i drop it off, the merchant (mariam) called over the phone and was asked to stop by the because something is wrong with the phone, she did not state what was wrong over the phone she waited to tell this when i got in the store, when i got there she tried to sell a wireless charging port for $155! she also broke my sim port. now i get no signal, and no sim problem. i will open it up and see what is going, it was a simple fix (just a screen swap) i will make be a complaint and report this to bbb. read more

Went in to get a new glass screen protector put on along with my boyfriend and friend. 2 of the 3 weren't put on properly which made me think maybe it was just a an unfortunate accident. So I went back in to go get another one put on since you can't get a refund. The manager put a new one on and it came out just as bad as the first time. I've gotten multiple screens put on by at&t and have never had a problem. I'm just frustrated because I spent money on a screen protector to get it put on twice and still didn't turn out without all the edges clearly lifted and not touching the screen of my phone. read more
