The beef doesn't taste like beef, just my personal opinion. Have only been eating before for 27 years, so what do I know.

My wife and I walked in on a Saturday night for supper at 6:00pm, and there was nobody in there except for 3 people working. It was dead silent and when I said we were dining in, they looked and sounded surprised. The tables and menus were sticky and tacky feeling. We left when they asked for our order. Not sure how the food is, because we didn't stick around to find out. It might be good for pick up, but definitely don't recommend dining in. read more

I am not sure how long this place has been opened but I decided to give it a try. I walked in Sunday night after pool and was thrilled not to see a crowd since its a relatively small building. I want to be as safe as possible with covid still going around. A lady greeted us and took our orders. I noticed two young boys sitting in the front bickering at one another. I assumed they were her children. The food came out relatively fast. The kids were helpful by serving the plates. We ordered monkey brains(not actual brains!), egg rolls, chicken lo mein, and lobster hibachi. Amazing food! I am getting hungry just thinking about it. When we were leaving I did try to tell the lady bye and she didn't respond. I am hoping our next visit is friendlier. read more

I've ordered from them in the past with no issue but when I received my last order my rolls smelled strongly of body odor, I had 2 family members smell it to make sure it wasn't something off with my sense of smell and they were horrified as well...no idea how that could happen but when I contacted the delivery service they informed me that the restaurant refused to issue a refund. This is a newer location that has been open maybe 18 months now. I haven't eaten inside here but I have had carry out at least a dozen times (waitr too). They are very fast and most times it's ready by the time I get there and I'm only a 5 minute drive away. The food overall is pretty good and it's always been fresh. One of our favorite items is the fried rice loaded with beef, shrimp and chicken. The small portion is two meals for the average person and only $7.00! General Tao's and the egg rolls are also very good here. This isn't a great sit down restaurant but if you want Chinese take out, it's one of the better spots in Lafayette. Enjoy! read more

We went to this place for a late lunch. Obviously a family owned business but when we went in a sat down they served and greeted us well. Yes, their kids work and serve tables but was not a problem at all! LSU rolled was made fresh and was awesome. We had Lo Mein, Fried Rice and egg rolls. Overall everything was fresh and good, just thought the Lo Mein was lacking seasoning. Can't stop raving about that LSU roll though! OMG Good! read more

The food was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. I got a sushi roll, Super Captain Crunch roll, and miso soup. Both were tasty and flavored very well. My colleagues order General Tso and Sesame Chicken. We were very happy and full at the end of our meal. The restaurant was clean and the food presentation was great. They always give generous portions and well-spiced food. I've tried every one of their vegan options and loved them all.

This is your standard Chinese take out fare, but the quality is excellent compared with similar restaurants, and I'd be hard-pressed to find another place with such large, high quality shrimp or real lobster in the Happy Family dish at such an affordable price ($14.25). Furthermore, the hibachi dishes are excellently prepared, and everything seems to be made cooked-to-order. The appetizers are interesting, sporting names like "Monkey Brains" (Just mushroom, snowcrab, and spicy tuna, I promise) and while I did not try the sushi this go-round, the orders I saw being taken out seemed of high quality and very tasty, much like most everything else. The wait time was reasonable, particularly for a cook-to-order business, and the atmosphere is simple but friendly. The wait-staff is well-mannered and helpful, if a little lacking in the English department, but this does not take away from the overall good experience of dining here. Overall, 4/5 stars. Not the type of place you'd go if you're looking for something exotic and exciting, but definitely one to visit for a good, everyday Chinese meal. Very good and will return. read more

I do not know if they were busy and rushing or this is normal. I ordered hibachi and the "steak" I got was thin cut pepper steak. Also ordered spring roll which comes with 2 rolls, I only received 1. I visited this place 9 months ago and was treated horribly after complaining about sub-par food. This is the review I left on facebook on June 14th, 2016: "I am very disappointed in the customer service and quality of food served here. I tried them for the first time tonight and ordered the sweet and sour chicken and a Boston roll. When I got home there was no sweet and sour sauce in the bag. When I pulled out the sushi, there appeared to be no shrimp in most of the rolls. I drive back to the location and collect my sauce and bring the shrimp issue to their attention. While I was explaining the situation, the shorter man held up his finger and answered his phone while I was mid sentence. A taller man came out and said the shrimp was there and that I had to turn the roll over. So I did so in front of them. There was a small sliver of shrimp, not even a whole shrimp tucked away in the roll. The taller man behind the counter began to try to tell me every restrauant does that which is not true. Rouses even puts visible shrimp in their rolls. I told him no and he kept insisting and claimed his products were expensive. I asked for a refund for the rolls and he kept shaking his head while counting out my money. On my way out he said once again that every restrauant makes sushi that way. There was no reason to argue or shout at me as I was leaving. I was not rude and simply asked for my money back. I will not order from here again due to the customer service and the blandness of the food. My sweet and sour sauce was so watery that I used sauce from my pantry on it instead of the sauce provided." I go about my way, refund was given. Today, the company replied to the post with very unprofessional and even derogatory words calling me a liar and insulting me with religion. I wasn't expecting this at all, or even gave this place a thought before today. This company piggybacks off a famous chain's name, serves low quality food, and treats their customers like crap. I highly recommend not visiting this establishment. I'm leaving reviews wherever I can to warn others about how they attack people who have anything negative to say about them. read more
