When I asked, I was told $9.36 is the price if you pay with a credit card. So the menu price is for cash transactions, but it's not specified anywhere on the menu. The staff working said she would ask the owner and we were eventually charged the menu price listed since this was not disclosed when we ordered or before getting our bill, but just beware. Also, just know that asking for sriracha is not like asking for soy sauce or salt. A tablespoon of Sriracha is considered a $2 side dish. I didn't realize it was a menu item when I asked for it. So just keep an eye out and ask what's included in your meal and what's considered a separate menu item.

Hot, fresh, and delivered with lightning speed. Like seriously, I thought they had secret microphones under the table. I ended up getting a case of ramen noodles because I have always loved eating them growing up. While checking out my old neighbourhood, I swung by to check this market out again. The Chinese restaurant that I never frequented is still in this plaza, across from this store. I believe that this market took over another store and tore down a wall. It's definitely larger than I remember it to be. I parked and walked inside. I loved seeing all ingredients to create your own banh mi. The snacks looked good, from shrimp flavour chips, to roasted seaweed. I was happy. The man cashing folks out asked me if I needed any help. I was browsing and reminiscing. I was good. I ended up getting a box of Choco Pie. Each pie is individually wrapped. Chocolate and banana work nicely together. I ended up bringing half of them back to Canada because my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I found Korean ramen and decided to give it a try. I got the mild flavour, which had a bit of a kick. I loved how chewy the noodles were. Full marks for them. You can only pay with a credit card if your total is at least $10. Thankfully, mine was. My credit card transaction worked nicely. The man was personable and helpful. We wished each other a great night as I happily headed to my car with my purchases. It can feel a bit cramped but gives kinda a speakeasy vibe meets hipster. Note that finding parking is a bit challenging here. There are two booths on the window that would make excellent date spots. The reason for the rating is due to the service. I made a reservation for the spot and made reference to it being our anniversary. However, nothing was done to reference the reason for the dinner. I had never been there and didn't know about the booth availability. The place was busy but we didn't get much attention (menus were left on the table, didn't get small plates to eat the Drummies properly, got one refill of water toward the end, etc). I felt bad about this rating because I've read people enjoying the experience. However, this is what I experienced. The food is great. Service could be better.

Looks like they change the recipe throughout the seasons. Save room for dessert. We ordered the fresh baked cookies. Thats right, fresh baked cookies. Baked when you ordered them. Loved it! The ramen stir fry was really tasty. Even the low spice was spicy. Think bul dak bokum noodles. It was good but not a dish you would eat by yourself, in my opinion. The spice is strong.
