I would consider myself a regular here! Ichigo is attached to Lins Kitchen. My first experience was over a year ago and I ordered to go food from Lins Kitchen and unfortunately just wasn't a fan of the orange chicken. We did decide to give them another shot and had now become one of our regular spots to eat out. Service is great and super nice. I always get the house salad with some of the best ginger dressing and wonton soup. My favorite roll by far is the snow mountain. My husbands go to is the sesame chicken with fried rice and it's delicious. Honestly you can not go wrong with any of their rolls. Food comes out quick as well, we are always in and out but never feel rushed. read more

I don't normally come to this area of SBC, but was over here seeing a client, who's family is a regular at Ichigo, and they recommended this sushi place - specifically their sushi chef Leo (if he happened to be working). Went in around 145pm and enjoyed their lunch special and added a yellowtail nigiri. Was served up a delicious cucumber/crab salad, miso soup, and entirely too much sushi for me to eat in one sitting. Everything was great and I'd highly recommend anyone in the area to give it a try! read more

I had to let this one sink in. Firstly and per usual, this review is for the sushi/service only. I have had plenty of Lin's kitchen Chinese fare and it was always fine. I've been here twice, once for my birthday (which was a huge deal for me to try something new on the one day I absolutely wanted sushi lol) and once again for lunch. Location is nicely decorated and comfortable, albeit still rather small. The service is great, if only anything to point out, at least on my first visit, was a bit intrusive and pushy. I enjoy the up-selling but seemed every time I had my mouth full was being asked if I wanted another roll. Sushi - This is a tough one. While presentation is beautiful on special rolls (Original visit I ordered rolls 1 at a time) on regular rolls it is lacking and hastily prepared. My lunch visit things were thrown together almost. The flavor unfortunately doesn't shine here. It's not distasteful by any means, just simply not much of a bang, rolls can be very bland, sauces are OK, ingredient combinations don't mesh well or in the case of the eel, simply prepared incorrectly. Eel very soft/slimy, slight distaste. While boasting some fresher ingredients, and I hate to classify it as such, you can absolutely tell it is from a combo Chinese/Japanese food establishment. Sitting at the bar on my second visit for lunch, and this is clearly evident with the ingredients held within the cold case at bar. I used to live down the street, and imagine if I still did, would likely frequent them out of convenience simply to get a sushi fix, now it's a tad out of the way for something that barely sates the appetite. Overall, Ichigo is a fine addition due to its variety and atmosphere, just not one that I would seek if looking the be all end all sushi. read more

We just left this place and it was terrible. Probably the worst sushi I've had in Louisiana. I know I can't expect it to be great considering the area, but it was bad on so many levels. Ordered the tiffany roll, has cream cheese but not listed on menu description. Waiter suggested the monkey roll, with no cream cheese. The monkey roll had no flavor, all I could taste was spicy mayonnaise and this weird flavor I couldn't identify. Wife has a spicy shrimp roll that looked completely unappetizing. Also tasted, off? I ordered a small side of veggie fried rice and it was the only thing we enjoyed. We left hungry and annoyed. Don't go here. Better off going to Spicy bowl on barksdale or Sushi gen on airline. Much better quality and service. The commissary also has way better sushi and the spring rolls they make are delicious. read more

Found this little gem while traveling on I-20 in Bossier City. This restaurant has the biggest selection of food on the menu. The food was awesome and the presentation was beautiful. My daughters Philadelphia roll came with a pretty purple flower. She loved it. I don't come through this area often, but the next time I do, I will come to Ichigo Sushi!! read more

Nice place to eat with family. We tried several rolls and were not disappointed. We also tried the bento boxes and were pleasantly surprised. But, do not order boba here. They do not use tapioca balls, it is some type of jelly. The actual drink was good, but spoiled by the faux boba. read more
