Phoenix Feather is the best choice I could have made musically for my 2 kids…read more Originally when my oldest was 6, I started her in private piano lessons. It was so boring for her. My piano repair man recommended Phoenix Feather and while it was farther than I was currently driving, I tried it because the school has been open for so many years. The group lesson is amazing! Both of my kids were so much more engaged in a group lesson, they see other kids' triumphs and struggles and they want to keep up with course. Ms. K is really energetic and engaging with the kids. It is a rigorous class but Ms. K has SO MANY TOOLS on her website to help your student thru any difficulty. The parent does not need to be a piano player for your child to succeed in this class. We knew from the get-go that our children would likely not become classical pianists, but we wanted to instill in them an appreciation of music and an understanding of how to read music.
