Now that I am 6 wpo I am ready to give a very honest review. Yes, photos in this review were shared with Laura, Dr. Ghurani's nurse. I have the full text thread. I had surgery on 10/16/2025 with Dr. Rami Ghurani. Leading up to surgery everyone was very nice and kind. Preop Dr Ghurani listened to what I was looking for and he gave me his input which I listened to. I didn't have a whole lot to ask as I have been researching my procedures for quite a while and was pretty educated. (I had a Tummy Tuck, Breast Lift with implants, and waist lipo). I made it a point to know the good, and the bad that could happen. Day of surgery they had me come in sooner than my scheduled time. The anesthesiologist blew 3 veins in my right arm so bad it took weeks to heal. When I woke up in recovery my back was fully drenched. I remember I kept telling the nurses, that were there, that I was really wet. They lifted me and got pissed. I still don't know why I was wet like that. I suspect an IV bag was placed on the bed and leaked out. I was freezing, wet not fully coherent when I was wheeled down to my ride waiting to take me back to my Airbnb. Next day I went back for postop. At postop they removed my bandages and I immediately noticed my left areola was very purple in one area just outside the tape. When I pointed it out to Dr Ghurani he said it was nothing to worry about. Over the next 11 days I continued to go to appointments at Icon either for check ups, or massages, sometimes both. My drains were draining darker and darker red everyday. When I pointed this out that I thought maybe it was a hematoma Dr said that was possible but said the drains would take care of it not to worry. I made it a point to follow his or his nurse Laura's care instructions so if I had issues later (which I definitely did) they couldn't blame anyone else. Day 11 postop I went for my last check up before coming home. I waited almost 2 1/2 hours for the Dr to come see me. I felt like I had been forgotten in their room with only a paper gown on. Dr decided to leave 1 drain in and had the other removed. He told me to leave the tape on my breast nipples/areolas for another 10 days. I told him I had some nurse friends back home if I needed to use them for anything. He told me I wouldn't need them. Well at 3 1/2 weeks postop the drain I still had got a leak so we had to remove it per instructions from Laura. The drain part on the inside of my body seemed to have been stuck to the stitches so when pulled it out, it pulled out the stitches on my tummy tuck leaving me with 3 open wounds of different sizes. All the fluid that was draining into the drain started and is still draining from these holes. I of course let Laura know and was told just wash it, put ointment on it, and cover it and was told the fluid has to drain somewhere. I've been doing exactly this since. Luckily I haven't had the need for antibiotics but it probably should have been offered to me at some point. Then on 11/8/2025 I removed the tape off my areolas. The left one I had asked Dr Ghurani about on 10/17/2025 had obviously had about 1/4 of it "die". I sent photos of it to Laura and was told to do the same thing as the tummy tuck holes. During this whole time I have been sending Laura updates with photos via text. Now that I let her know I'm upset how this is healing because the areola wound grew quite a bit she has now opted to ignore me. Now I am at a loss on what to do if I end up with an infection or worse my nipple/ areola dies or has any other issues since now I'm being ignored. Use Icon at your own risk. I knew this could happen but never expected to have to maneuver complications without the help of my Plastic Surgeon. Since I had surgery in Florida and not where I live it makes it harder to find doctors willing to help me with this situation. I was really counting on Icon/ Dr Ghurani to assist me if complications happened. Apparently I was wrong. I am adding to this. First of all your team has not reached out to me at all till today 12/4/2025 via text. (Coincidentally after this review) She pretty much told me to do the same thing I've been doing and added "no nicotine". Like nicotine caused this issue. I haven't done "nicotine" since July 2025. Last time I've heard from your nurse was 11/13/2025 when I sent her an update. I'm glad your people get vacations but unfortunately I don't get a vacation from my complications. You don't have people take over for your people when they are gone? You know in case a patient has, I don't know, complications. If you're wondering I'm pretty mad and upset. My nipple/areola looks like it will take a long time to heal AND scar terribly when it finally does heal. Just to be clear NONE of you people have called me once to follow up since I left Miami 12dpo so stop telling that bs. You people left me hanging. read more

I have been waiting to get my refund since May 17th. They told me it would take 35 business days. I kept calling and finally was told it was mailed out on 7-20 and today is 7-29. I called yesterday and today and their refund department won't return my call. Now I read here that other people haven't gotten refunded here either, how can a place do business like this and still remain operational. read more

Not only did they not refund me. They lied to my bank. I still have not recieved refund since 3/18/26. They state they will not refund me while I have a report in with my bank which is a lie. I would not recommend Icon Cosmetic based on my personal experience. From the beginning, I felt like I was being treated as a sales opportunity instead of a patient. I was rushed through signing paperwork and making payments, as if the goal was to secure the sale rather than ensure I was fully informed and comfortable. Communication was extremely poor. I never had a dedicated person handling my case. Every time I called, I had to explain my situation all over again, and getting in touch with the person responsible was nearly impossible. I scheduled my surgery months in advance, requested time off from work, and made all the necessary arrangements. On the day of my procedure, the surgeon decided not to operate because of my moderate sleep apnea, despite my physician providing a medical clearance letter stating it was not considered a significant risk. Although I was disappointed, I respected the surgeon's medical decision and immediately requested a refund. That is when the worst part of my experience began. For weeks, I was given the runaround. First, I was told refunds take 30 days. After those 30 days passed, I was told my refund would be processed on June 30. June 30 came and went with no refund. Then I was told it had been approved but I needed to wait another 7-10 business days. Every time I called, I was told the person handling refunds was either with a patient or would call me back. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told the representative I was speaking with was the supervisor. It has now been almost three and a half months, and I still have not received my refund. No patient should have to fight this hard to get their own money back. Delayed refunds, poor communication, and constant excuses are unacceptable. I sincerely hope the company improves how it treats its patients and handles refund requests. As of today, I am considering my legal options to recover the money that is owed to me. read more

I started making payments for a tummy tuck and breast augmentation with silicone. In February, I found that I was pregnant so I immediately called them up to cancel and to get a refund for my surgery. I had complications with my pregnancy so my baby came premature. Now I need my money and it's July and I'm still waiting on it. Can't get a straight answer from anyone or get the refund department on the phone to answer any of my questions. And it's been over four months. I really wish that they didn't come so highly recommended and that's why I chose them. I just need my money back. This whole interaction with Icon cosmetic surgery has been a nightmare from the beginning. I was told a week before my surgery that I was not cleared for my surgery due to my HCG levels being high. I had a hysterectomy so there is no way I was pregnant. This did not make any sense. II have since asked for a refund and still cannot talk to anyone in the refund department because I am being told that I have to go through my pre-opt coordinator who is never available. read more

I had surgery on 5/19 and did not receive all service. A refund for the service not rendered was requested on 5/20. I have been given the run around by staff stating my refund is in various stages of processing; on 6/4 was told it is in final stages and on 6/12 was told it is in middle stages. The Bad: From the start, communication was a nightmare. No one ever seems to have a straight answer, whether you call ahead or speak to someone in person. I waited over three hours in the pre-op room before even being taken back to see a doctor, the doctor was actually in surgery during my appointment time so they pretty much double booked him and just left me sitting and waiting instead of calling me and asking me to come earlier or later when he would be available. They also don't follow through on basic administrative tasks -- like faxing information when they say they will. The front desk staff and whoever answers the phones are consistently unprofessional and rude, especially once your payment has already been made. Questions after that point feel like an inconvenience to them. Another major disappointment was that no support person is allowed, and they don't bother to tell you this until you arrive and see signs posted on the door. I wanted my husband to be a big part of this procedure and if we would've known he wouldn't be able to accompany me to my appointments especially pre op, we most definitely would've chosen another office. Communication barriers were also an issue -- most of the staff didn't speak English, and there were no translators available, which made the experience confusing and stressful. After surgery, I only saw the doctor once the day after the procedure (mainly to get photos) and once on the last day of my trip, and that was only because of my drains. The Good: On a more positive note, the results were adequate for the price. I wouldn't say they're perfect, (not fully recovered yet) but for what we paid, the outcome was acceptable. Dr. John Yoon himself was very kind and professional during my pre-op appointment and on the day of surgery. I appreciated his demeanor and bedside manner -- he made me feel comfortable in the few moments I actually got to see him and even made sure to give me the size implants I wanted and also, let me keep my old implants he removed. Overall: While I'm generally satisfied with the surgical results, the lack of professionalism, communication, and transparency from the rest of the staff made the experience much more stressful than it needed to be. If you decide to go with Icon Cosmetics, manage your expectations - the doctor may do good work, but the overall process and customer service leave a lot to be desired. read more

big scam please dont go here‼ my surgery was scheduled for 4/23/26 i didnt get cleared the day before my surgery at my pre op appointment ...i went in for my appointment upgraded my surgery after speaking with dr yoon...i paid them another 800$ which brought my total to 4300$ so after i give them the additional 800$ royal medical called while i was there after i paid saying i wasnt cleared for tomorrow surgery... ok cool so i asked them whats my next step they said request a refund so bam i did 4/22/26 right when i left. the contract you will sign ill attach will say they will refind you ur money within 21 days but u have to submit it throught the portal which i did 4/22 also keep in mind if you dont get cleared stated in the contract that they will take 1500 or 500$ out the amount you paid even if the doctors wont clear you bs‼ so they took 500$ out my money which my refund is 3740$ now this when the refund lady told me when i spoke with her 4/27 or 28/26.. so they took their money its 6/25/26 i still havent received my refund every time i call they give me the run around says someone will call me never does or they will put in the notes they called me back and never did‼‼ the refund department lady told me three weeks ago my refund was due to be released 6/15/26 i called them on the 17th about my money she said it takes 5-7 days after it was released to hit your account lol ok fine so now this week still no refund my portal still says processing...so i called today 6/25/26 the lady that took the called said now i see your refund was released in the 17th i said how when she told me last week the 15th then she said i mean u called on the 17th and she escalated it smh these people dont do nothing but lie‼‼ please dont go to them they are a scam and wont give u your money back‼‼‼‼ they took their money but bridged the contract cause it says 21days to process so its been two months and my bills still need to get paid‼ can someone please tell me whats their corporate number⁉ cause i see imma have to sue them for all my money the flight the hotel i paid for a week to not get cleared the 400$ at royal medical to not get cleared and all this hassle for my money‼ worst experience please dont be fooled by them‼ 21 days to process a refund and 5-7 days after to hit tour account is diabolical when you guys took yalls money right out my account right then an there‼ in my case no refund 2 months later im here‼‍ read more

I haven't had my surgery yet, so far Icon is attentive answers my emails within 24 hours always has the answer no drama no problems. I love the patient portal and being able to just go pay when I want until my surgery date. I will continue to update I should be having my surgery at the end of January possibly first part of February so hang tight. read more

I've been waiting over a month for a refund, even though your own refund policy clearly states it will be completed within 21 days of receiving the Refund Request Form. I submitted the form and have heard nothing back. I've been emailing and calling repeatedly, and I've gotten no response. I was told twice that someone from the billing department would call me back, and that still hasn't happened. This back-and-forth with no clear answers is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. The whole practice is a joke. The keep calling and harassing you till you pay, they send you a long list of labs, X-rays and scans that you have to get done before the surgery and when you finally submit everything, they take forever to clear you for surgery. When I showed up for the surgery and was in my preop room with the iv hooked up and everything, Dr. tamer decides to do an exam and causes me to faint after pushing on my atom so hard and telling me that he "thinks" I have a hernia, which is clearly not possible because the scan shows no hernia. Canceling the surgery and sending me to get cleared by a neurologist. When I was cleared, Dr. tamer was not happy that the neurologist didn't require me to get a bunch of crazy tests and labs and knew exactly that what Dr. tamer did cause me to have a vasovagal syncope episode. Dr. Tamer wanted me to repeat all labs and scan again and pay all those again even though I didn't need them. The practice refused to return my money and I had to file a dispute on my credit card. Simply inexperienced, incompetent and unprofessional dealing with Dr. tamer and the entire practice. Save your time, money, energy and the pain that comes with dealing with them. read more

I scheduled my surgery for Dec 2025. I was receiving call & emails from them asking for full payment or else they would be canceling my surgery even though they had not received all my medical labs. I made payments through my debit card and Zelle to make the complete the cost. Three days before my surgery I get a call and they state they are needing to cancel my surgery due to low iron. I requested my refund at the time in Dec 2026. They are stating they are unable to Zelle me those payments back and will have to send me a paper check. Please note that when I signed the documents, the paperwork specifically states refunds can take 21-30 days to process. It is now March 31, 2026 and I am still having to go back and forth with this company. They state they sent a paper check in the mail on 03/04 which I have not received. I have been calling and requesting them to cancel that check and reissue another one and send it with expedited shipping and tracking information. All I get is someone telling me that the account specialist is not available and has not listed the tracking information but that it is sent out. This is total bullshit so do not give any payments until they confirm that you are a good candidate and all your medical clearances have been completed and reviewed. I will continue to contact them about my refund but this is just ridiculous and very unprofessional. When I did my consultation with Brian I was told if I needed to cancel my surgery I would get my $250 deposit back. Now because I needed to cancel 5 months from my tentative surgery date I was just told by some manager that it's a $500 permanent cancellation fee! I was never told that and I'm so disgusted and disappointed with this place. 5 months from a date would not interfere with any surgeons appointments not being filled! If I could give a zero star I would! She had the audacity to say did you read the consent?! I said no because I guess I was stupid enough to believe what YOUR own employee told me would be the truth! We shouldn't even be able to leave a star review of one. I have been waiting over three months for my refund that the doctor canceled due to him saying he was uncomfortable doing my surgery because of the prior health condition I call daily about my refund so someone from the office is supposed to call me back. No one has called me back. I didn't receive a email stating they cannot deposit the money into my bank account and I need to open up a bank account that they work with and if they cannot do that, I need to verify my address so they can send me a check when I was told that my money would be deposited into my account on December 23 if it was not in my account by December 23 give it 7 to 10 business days. I still have yet to receive my money in my account. I called to speak to a clinic manager. Nobody is available. I called during regular business hours, the billing department is unavailable. I called the billing department is on lunch. I called the billing department leaves at 3 o'clock. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and a Lawyer and disputing the charges with my bank account is very unprofessional people. They do not know how to handle basic customer service skills and questions. I will be going to social media with this, letting them know do not pay your money because you will not get your money back as quick as they make you pay. You do not get your money back nothing in their policy that you signed states that you I have to open up another bank account to get your refund and also states that you will receive it within 30 days is over 30 days. I will be going to every social media outlet explaining the unprofessionalism with this company in their billing department. Don't book here if you're from out of state. I booked and through my health test my dr found something life threatening. I called to notify them and requested a refund. 6 MONTHS went by no refund and they ignored my calls, emails with short replies to no information regarding my refund. They also charged me from a "sister clinic" called unique aesthetics. Not ICON themselves. I was told their social media is fake they convince patients to use videos for a discounted price on surgeries, most coordinators participate, it's the same girls each time. Coordinators are awful. I was supposed to have my bbl surgery on 1/22/25 the original date was 1/21/25. Dr. Fisher canceled my surgery (1/14/25) after I went to 3 doctors to fill out the medical clearance with everything he asked for. Dr. Fisher didn't like how these 3 doctors did their notes. My plastic surgeon in Jacksonville, FL didn't need me to do a medical clearance because I don't have any health risk like diabetes, heart condition and I'm not over 50. I was so upset with this office because the coordinator, Jessica, don't realize how much money patients from out of town how to pay to do this type of surgery!!!!! read more

I canceled a procedure with this surgery center and was told that after paying a $500 cancellation fee and waiting 21 business days I would receive a refund. No refund was ever issued. I have made complaints with the BBB, the Florida Attorney General, and The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. I recently discovered that the Florida Attorney General has an ongoing case investigating (possible) fraudulent business practices used at Icon Cosmetic Center. Knowing what I know now, I would never send a place like this a dime. If you choose to have surgery at a Florida surgery center, pay only the deposit and then pay the rest of the bill in full at your pre op. Make sure that you are cleared for surgery and won't be cancelled before making any payments to a place like this because they charge non-refundable cancellation fees that are a scam. I learned about this speaking with someone from the Attorney General's office. I wish I had never had anything to do with this awful place and I hope the Attorney General helps get me a full refund soon. read more

I recently underwent surgery at Icon Cosmetic Center in Miami Florida. Dr. Neng Zhong exceeded my hopes and expectations in performing my Breast Reduction/Lift and Lipo. His skilled plastic surgery is well planned out and meticulous with the goal of my optimal results. I also appreciated that even though he has many patients, he took the time to get to know me, is a good listener, and he also called me directly after the surgery to check in on me.
