He answered all of my questions (I had many) without rushing out the door. Once our consultation ended, I booked my surgery right away. He gained my trust by taking the time to educate me on my options and the procedure itself. Dr. Rogriguez-Feliz offered the guidance I was looking for. I wanted a surgeon who would understand my needs but would also look at my body shape/size to make recommendations for the best results. Also, he suggested something that no other surgeon mentioned. He suggested I was a candidate for IV Sedation instead of general anesthesia. In the beginning, I was a little hesitant but I finally followed his advice. That was by far the best decision ever!! The recovery time was quicker, I had no nausea, no sore throat, no headaches, it was a completely different experience than when I did general anesthesia. During the surgery, I was completely asleep and woke up when it was all over. You will be asleep just like with general anesthesia.
