I'm extremely disappointed in the customer service of Lily the hairstylist. I'm a brand new customer contacted her and made an appointment for cut and color for Sep 17th at 9:45 am. She asked me to give her 24 hour notice for any cancellations. I needed to go out of town so I colored my own roots. I messaged her on Sept 15th at 8:20 pm letting her know that I only need a haircut this time. She responded at 9:00 am on Sept 16th that she can do my haircut at 11:00 am on the 17th I said that's fine. At 12:00 She sends me a nasty message that I ruined her schedule and now she can do my cut at 12:00 pm. I asked her how did I ruin her day when I gave her ample time of notice, I said never mind cancel she said that's better for her and me. I don't understand why the need to be so nasty when all I did is change one thing in my appt. It's ok her loss of very well tips and my generosity I will gladly go elsewhere. Horrible customer service with multiple exclamation marks on my text? What did I say or do to deserve that treatment? How did I ruin ur day when I've given u more time than u had originally asked for. I'm so disappointed. read more

I've had such great experiences with Icon Salon Spa! I found them by chance, and I'm so glad I did! I was looking for places that do Microneedling with PRP after the Med Spa I used to go to closed. I found Kristina whose office is within Icon and she contacted me promptly and gave me all her pricing info. My appointment went great. Loved that she was a PA too. After, I made an appointment to get my haircut. Renee A. was great. Great cut, blowout, and scalp massage! And just recently, I booked a European Facial with Svetlana. They are all independent contractors and rent their spaces within Icon. It's a great mix of talented small business owners in this beautiful salon spa. I just came out of an amazing facial with Maribel. I requested an appointment online and figured I wouldn't be able to get in same day and I actually did! There customer service girl called me and left a message I called back and she set my appointment for 6pm with Maribel, Gave me her number and stated that I would need to text her when I arrived since they close after 5pm and my appointment was after the fact I arrived and before I could even get to sending Maribel a text she text me! Very prompt! I went inside and waited she came and greeted me and took me to the spa area. She explained the type of facial she was doing and also asked What type of skincare I use and my diet, she actually made me really aware of what was going on with my face, the facial was absolutely amazing, She even got rid of this bump I've had on my eyelid forever!!! she has a great guest connection I felt so comfortable with her, only quiet moment was the massage, it's always an amazing time when you can have a conversation with someone, Maribel your absolutely amazing at what you do I appreciate the time you took and taking me last minute! Just started coming here since my hair girl moved over to this salon. I love the location, parking is usually pretty easy and after a long day of sitting in the chair there's plenty of food options around. I come here to see my girl Trena who has been doing my hair for the past 2 years now? She knows my style and what will or will not work with my hair type. This last visit I decided to go from blonde ombré to red/violet and I love the color! After getting washed, dried and style I felt like a million bucks! (Final outcome picture attached) Some other things I like about this salon is that I feel there's a little more privacy from booth to booth, sometimes when in deep conversation during a session I may not want the whole salon to hear what's been going on ok my life. I booked my hair appointment with Diana Soto to get my purple retouched. it had been 5-6 months since I last had it done, it was long over do. I mentioned to her that I wanted shorter hair but I wasn't to sure if it would look good with my facial features. She assured me it would look good so I took a chance and went with it and I'm so glad I did. I fell in love with my new look, the color turned out amazing and so did the hair cut. FOR STYLIST ROSHETTA ZANDERS: For the 2nd time in a row out of 3 visits, I have been terribly disappointed by the lack of professionalism and inconsistency here at Icon Salon. I found Ms. Roshetta Zanders to be a very warm and friendly personality, and she is seemingly an expert hair care stylist, and so I have given her several chances to get her customer service, and listening to clients needs, correct and up to par. The first really huge error, was Roshetta flat out forgetting and not showing up for an appointment that I brought my 81 year old mother to over a month ago, and then instead of her immediately apologizing and attempting to reschedule, she made one excuse after the other! In the end, because we wanted to give her another chance we made another appointment for my mom. Today was the last straw! I asked for a wash color trim, in a text message sent to Roshetta, to which she said "no problem". My service was started by Roshetta, and we discussed again in person, exactly what I expected; wash, color and trim the ends only. First, I was left sitting under the dryer for well over 45 min, after the dryer timer went off and then Roshetta was no where to be found! And so, I walked back to her chair where I sat, and sat and sat, until she finally reemerged, obviously after having taken a long lunch break! Then, after the wash she pawned me off to her assistant to blow dry, and flat iron my hair! After she burned me, and I asked her why she wasn't using the same technique as Roshetta, I stopped her, and asked for Roshetta to complete the pressing/flat iron process. *I also asked if we could do a deep moisturizer, but nope, she said she used something else. Once again, Roshetta and I, discussed trimming my ends and that it had been months since she last trimmed it, after which she even commented on how bad the ends looked, but the next thing I knew, she hurried and curled it, no trim! When I asked her why she hadn't trimmed it, she said: "Oh, I forgot, maybe next time..." And then there was an awkward silence, followed by me paying her, and her complete change in attitude, almost as if she wanted to hurry me out! She never even showed me the mirror to see my entire hairstyle, nor ask me what I thought about it! I am puzzled, disappointed and very upset by this inconsiderate, insensitive, and inconsistent service!!! Roshetta, please listen to your clients, take notes and keep them on what kinds of services they get and when they get them, for an example; last trim, what kind of gray cover up, rinse or permanent dye etc., if a client asks for a trim, don't claim you forgot in the span of 2 hours of styling them! That is a ridiculous and unbelievable exuse which I didn't believe! If you didn't have time for a trim, or for whatever reason you didn't want to trim a client, simply tell them! Also, if a client makes an appointment with "you", and you have already established a relationship with them, that means they only want "you" to wash, blow dry and style their hair, not your assistant! If you want your assistant to help you, ask the client first! In short, Roshetta, please review your customer service practices, and get it together, you are far too talented to skip this important step! read more

**UPDATE** I spoke with the salon manager. She was very sweet and apologized for the incident. Chadda, the owner, advised she would do the color correction free of charge! After my 1st session: She helped me understand that it will take time to achieve the color I want without damage. Her assistant, Courtney Comito, was wonderful as well! So far it looks amazing! I will be going back shortly to continue the process. **UPDATE** I was previously advised that I would have to wait one month before returning for a second session to attempt to achieve the color I originally wanted. I was initially told that if I decided to receive the correction service within the salon that I would not have to pay. When I arrived for the second session, I was advised I would have to pay $95. I kindly asked for a partial refund on my original payment, seeing as their hair stylist did NOT provide me with the service I requested on my first visit. Chadda, the owner of Icon Salon & Spa, advised that her hairstylists are independent contractors. She then rudely explained that she offered the color correction to get rid of the green and blue in my hair as a courtesy. In the end, my hair was severely processed only to end up with a color I did not request. To say that I am extremely disappointed is an understatement. I would definitely recommend against coming to this salon, seeing as there is no accountability for the work you will receive! read more

Beth from Luxe Skin studio is AMAZING. I've never had such an amazing brazilian wax before. I've been to her twice already and I always feel so comfortable. The waxing wasn't that bad and I've had experiences that have made me bleed afterward before. This used to be Destinations. It's quiet & unassuming. I had my nails done by Stacee with the newfangled gel nails where they do the ultraviolet light drying for about a minute. It takes an hour each for mani & pedi but 3 wks later, not a chip. Except for bottom regrowth, it looks like new & I've still gotten compliments on my hands. I did the french nail so the growth wouldn't be that noticeable & for the $95 was well worth it. My husband had his hair cut & colored for $85 ($40 + $45) & said it was acceptable.
