I kept seeing the salon as I pass it often. From long hair, I now have short hair which I wasn't comfortable to blow by myself. I used to get my long curly hair blown weekly. The stylist that I use was booked solid. I called Hair Envy for an appt. and both owners were booked. Erica ( one of the owners) then text me via Yelp to tell me she'd drop her son off at pre school and come right over. That was very nice of her. She spend a lot of time to get my hair how she thought it should be. It came out very nice, she did a nice job. I highly recommend using that salon. read more

Erica is great. She cut my hair just before my wedding back in October while I was eight month pregnant but I hadn't been back to see her since then. I messaged and asked if they could schedule a same day appointment and Erica got back to me really fast and was able to get me an appointment no problem. As soon as my husband and I walked in, she recognized us and asked how everything was. We maintained a great conversation as I caught her up with how my daughter was doing and how my husband was leaving to Basic Training on Monday. She was very patient as we slowly trimmed my hair because I wasn't sure how much shorter I wanted it. I met Liz today and I was nervous trying someone new but was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted upon entering and my appointment was on time. Not only was Liz a joy to talk to but she listened to what type of cut style I wanted and made great suggestions. I've been burned in the past by stylists that say they know what you want and proceed to cut all of your hair off. Liz is not one of them. I have been visiting from out of town and desperately needed a change with my hair. Liz took the time to talk with me about what I wanted. I had dark brown with faded out ends from old color, she explained everything she was going to do especially since I wanted to go much lighter. She cut about 3 inches off and gave me a fresher look. I've always drove past hair envy on my way home from pretty much anywhere, it's literally a 2 min drive from my house. I was in desperate need of a haircut so after reading the other reviews I decided to make an appointment with Liz and I'm so glad that I did!! I showed her a few pics of what I wanted done and she told me step by step what she was doing. It turned out amazing and I was very pleased with the results! A month later I came back and this time it was to get my hair colored. I basically had dark brown/black hair and it was pretty damaged from all the coloring/processing I had previously done in the past. I basically wanted a blonde ombré balayage kinda like khloe Kardashian. Now Liz explained to me that this will be a process and that I might have to do a couple sessions before I could achieve the color that I wanted in order to avoid major damage. I spent 8 hours at the salon and Liz was so patient the entire time. She even helped my boyfriend and I order some food from a bomb ass restaurant she recommended. My hair didn't come out the color I was expecting but it was still gorgeous none the less. And the fact that she had warned me and told me what to expect made it that much easier for me to accept the final outcome. I can't wait to come back in a few weeks to go lighter. The color I have now is actually really growing on me, it's a caramel/blonde color and there's a ton of dimension! It's perfect for the upcoming holiday season. It was really hard to find a stylist that could give me the red that I wanted. My hair was feeling dry and damaged from the last attempt at red at a different salon.
