HORRIBLE. Horrible management and horrible hair stylists. If I could leave zero, or even negative stars I would. The manager, BOBBIE MARTIN, is impossible to get ahold of and will completely ghost you if you present an issue. My hair was completely destroyed by hair stylist LAURIE NICHOLS and I have yet to hear from anyone on a refund for the service, which is certainly justified. I have never experienced a hair nightmare like this before in my life and I will make sure that everyone I know in Las Vegas never steps foot in this salon to support hair stylists that ARE NOT LICENSED, have no experience, and have no moral compass to make things right. Aside from the service that absolutely killed my hair, leaving me, a brunette, with WHITE hair (yes white not blonde), and spotted color all throughout my hair leaving me with a total of 7 different colors in my hair (including purple that was used to try to color correct the blonde ‍ - the salon was very old, dirty, every sink was broke and people were waiting in a line to get washed! They all share about 3 or 4 sinks in a massive salon and I stood there for about 10 minutes with color dripping down my back. At all costs, do not go here. All I have requested is my money back, to make it right, because I needed to may the same amount to get the color fixed by someone else. Before leaving this review.I allowed her time to reach out to me as a Concern cosmetologist, who just gave a client a chemical burn I've been a client of hers for close to a year and also referred other people.Nor did she offer any treatment to help relieve the burnt and damaged area. Went here for a Groupon deal (haircut + partial highlight) about a month ago. I won't be back. First, the stylist added $20 to my cut because of "length" and wanted $10 for toner for the partial highlight. Shouldn't toner be included? I bought the Groupon to save money. If I knew $30 was added to the Groupon price I wouldn't have even come. I walk in and say "I have an appointment with [stylist]." One minute later another lady walks in and says she has an appointment at the same time with the same stylist. Turns out, the stylist booked us both at the same time!! She was going back and forth between us during my appointment, which was really awkward and weird. Never had that happen before. I would like to think that a stylist should only have one client at a time... The cut I received was pretty terrible. It has been a month so it has had time to grow out and it looks super choppy and weird. I don't like to have my hair down and not styled because it shows how choppy my haircut is. I love my nail tech that I see she is amazing! The salon itself is run down and they treat the employees like dog crap. The pedicure chairs are constantly broken and the ones that do somewhat work are gross and very old. The place is completely run down and looks like a bunch of DIY projects gone wrong. I am highly disappointed with my Groupon purchase for a cut, shampoo, conditioner and highlight with Laurie Nichols at this location!!! As I stated I purchased a Groupon and emailed Laurie for an appointment as indicated on the Groupon. She emailed me back and said she schedules her appointments via Style Seat application. No problem, I can do that. So I scheduled an appointment for 4 days later through the application. I really needed my hair done as I was going on a vacation the following weekend. I was very excited and looking forward to my appointment. I went to my scheduled appointment and checked in. I was told Laurie wasn't in yet, no problem I figure she will be here. I got blonde partial highlights today. I had made an appointment with Heidi after I heard that she was one of my friend's hair stylist so I decided to give it a shot. I came in at 11am. The place looks clean and there are some hair products and clothing for sale at the front. The salon is not overbearing and seems relaxing. The shampoo sinks are comfortable. All the staff is seems super friendly. I mentioned that I would like to have platinum blonde highlights. I know it will take several color to get platinum. She knew that I have very difficult, thick hair that have been colored very often and she 'gets me' and understands how to make it work and behave. Conversation went well and was pleasant, and not forced. She only works 2 days a week, Wed & Sat. She also gave me some good tips on my hair and I am happy with the highlights. While I was on vacation in Vegas I decided to make an appointment with Amy to get my eyelashes lifted and tinted. My friend had recommended her and since I loved how my friend's lashes look I decided to try it. The appointment was made over text which made it quite easy and convenient. I met Amy and she was very nice. It was my first time getting my eyelashes lifted and she explained every single step. I felt very comfortable. I came in on Tuesday for my first professional hair cut in probably 5 years. Maybe longer. (I say professional because about 3 years ago, my husband trimmed my hair with kitchen shears, but...yeah. We don't talk about that.) From what I understand, all the stylists are independent, so I believe they set their own prices. (I could be wrong, but that's what I overheard while I was waiting.) The location itself is huge, and clean. I saw Kim, and she was wonderful. I have LONG hair. Like...to my waist long. But, due to not having anyone take care of it for a really long time, I have a lot of split ends. Kim asked what I was looking for, and I told her that I didn't want to lose too much length, but I wanted to get rid of the split ends, and maybe try a sideswipe bang for something different. He textured my hair (which is short) and needs a certain type of cut to give it volume; hard to get that. Then recommended a product which actually works. This place is BIG, modern and comfortable. So far, I'm a happy customer. I can't comment on the prices, because I'm being charged what I paid at her former location. The prices may be up to the individual stylist, since they probably pay rent for their chair. But the salon probably has a price list for new customers or walk-ins. Typically this is a good salon, but one of the hair stylist brought in her dog. I love all animal, but there was several customers in the solan that were allergic to dogs. One of the employees asked the the stylist to keep the dog away, because the dog will trigger her asthma. The stylist became upset and stated that her dog is hypoallergenic and it shouldn't be a problem. The dog appeared to be a long hair chihuahua. They are not hypoallergenic. I have always wanted to go blonde and she did it and has kept it up and healthy for over a year. I see her about every 5-6 weeks sometimes 7 and for someone with black hair to have to wait that long until they get their hair colored to something lighter let alone to blonde is amazing. I barely hair my roots showing and hair stays healthy so I don't need to see her that often. She's an awesome woman as well. Very easy to talk to, if you're gonna be sitting in her chair for color (takes a few hours) then you better make some conversation. I made an appointment with Kassy the hairdresser and she wasn't at the salon. According to the receptionist, she thought the appointment was at 1:30pm instead of the 3:30pm we've agreed on and that she wasn't feeling good so she decided to go home and rest. First of all, there is no way I would have made an appointment before 3:30pm because my husband does not get off work until 3pm and he needs to be home to stay with the kids while I get my hair done. Second of all, if someone doesn't show up on time, wouldn't it be a smart idea to give the client a call to follow up? Lastly, I understand that we all feel under the weather sometimes and it's something we never plan to happen but if you don't feel good and you don't feel like showing for an appointment, simply call and reschedule! It's the least you could do. I don't usually rate or comment on services good or bad but this time was just a big waste of time. I regretted coming in, she kept telling me "omg it's going to look cute....". I told her I wanted a look like Khloes K's hair but it was way far from that. My hair was a brassy orange and it had blotches of bleach in places it shouldn't be. I caught a few and told her to fix it but it was still visible. I paid $120 for something that looked hideous. I was so pissed. Ladies, don't ever get your hair done by someone whom you haven't actually seen their work.
