Jacob answered all of our questions, would let us drive any cart we wanted, told us the advantages of the gas versus electric 48v vs 36v, etc. He found us exactly what we needed and wanted. We left to decide if that was the one we wanted. I called Jacob 2 days later, the cart was still there. He had it delivered 2 days later and when I asked about payment he said that we would settle up after it was delivered. If you are checking out golf carts you need to make the drive to Southland. Great people, great service, great selection, no pressure. You feel like you are buying a golf cart from a friend.

Simmons GoBattery sold me a new battery with a 3-year warranty, for my BMW, 18 months ago. I was…read moreensured by the Simmons GoBattery technician, that they were equipped to register the new battery as BMW requires. Shortly thereafter, warning signals appear and the BMW's overall performance was sluggish. Thousands of dollars spent on replacement parts and labor since then, and 2 months ago I learn (after having a diagnostic test performed), that dozens of error codes were present. DME errors related to the battery not being registered at all. Emails, phone calls, and messages left for Simmons GoBattery regarding these results, have gone unnoticed. I visited the new Simmons GoBattery location twice and was told by a different technician that Simmons GoBattery told me wrong, that they are DO NOT have the capability of registering new batteries with BMW and that John Simmons, the owner of Simmons GoBattery, would get back to me ASAP about his businesses false claim. STILL NO WORD. BMW needed to be jumped started every day for the last two weeks, today my husband took it to Simmons GoBattery and spoke to Mr. Simmons himself, who was working there alone and this is what we got... Although the battery is under a 3-year warranty and his former technician lied to me about BMW being registered properly, Mr. Simmons offered me nothing but excuses. Dismissing me and the situation, he avoided his responsibility as a business owner, to uphold the warranty, and for his website's FALSE ADVERTISEMENT AND CLAIMS that at Simmons GoBattery, they register vehicles accordingly. Instead, Mr. Simmons complained about staff turnover, faulty equipment, and money HE spent on HIS business. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Simmons GoBattery FOR WORKING ON ANYTHING I OWN. At that time, I was given a set price for the rental period I requested and was told that in order to secure the reservation, I needed to pay the full amount upfront -which I did. Fast forward two months later, when I was preparing to pick up the golf cart, I was informed that my reservation would not be honored because another customer had renewed their rental. This was extremely frustrating and completely unacceptable, especially since I had already paid in full. When I tried to express my disappointment and concerns about the situation, the staff were dismissive and rude, showing little interest in resolving the issue or even acknowledging the inconvenience they caused. Overall, this experience was very disappointing. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disregard for customer service are reasons I would not recommend doing business with this company.

Paid to have it delivered and the very next day called and told them the wires in the battery compartment were over heating and melted! Did not feel safe even pulling back in the garage, so it sat out until they finally decided to come pick it up to service. They, finally, after many back and forth with BOTH companies, "not our problem" "it's the other companies" Icononic, came to pick up the brand new, faulty cart. Yes, they did leave a subpar much cheaper "loaner" cart. Nothing of value of what was bought and paid cash for. Well here we sit and it is now September, and they STILL, will NOT make this right. Showed up at the actual sight after many runarounds to physically look in on the cart, and it was parked in the "lot" exposed to weather and never even touched! They have had the cart for 6 months and NOTHING has been done to rectify this issue, except an extremely long list of "why's, can't's and will NOTS!!" The sales guy (Chuck Woody) we had been talking too and assuming working on this issue, stated he would no longer deal with me, "because I asked him to not yell at me or be ugly, I just wanted answers" So please please use caution if you do ever end up dealing with either of these companies!!
