Icons Brasserie seafood buffet Mon-Thurs $49 for all you can eat, seafood, main courses and desert. I was impressed at the food. I love oysters and prawns and left room for salad bar and mains. The main courses were very well cooked. The flavours of the fish and the chicken were heavenly. If you appreciate a well cooked meal and love a variety then check this out. On the weekend (Fri/Sat) the price increases to $99/head, so choose your own adventure there. We have to mention the staff here, they were very courteous and extremely friendly I wonder what they are paying them, as they all offered a little more than the usual - like they had a share in the place or something. I like to see places treat their staff well, it really comes off in the service and that for me is true democracy in action. The interior is traditional and its located on the second floor of the Marriot Hotel at Circular Quay. They do have buffet breakfast and lunch too please call for reservations. There's not much in way of parking on the street, so catching the train could work, especially if you're planning on getting into the wine buffet. Now I haven't mentioned this yet and that's because you save the best for last. But yup, you can select to pay $60 and drink all the wine you want. The selection is grand it's all the picklist expensive wine that you'd normally pay $10-15 dollars a glass. The main selling point of this restaurant is the quality you are paying for, you can see it in the cheese, matured cheddar practically melts in your mouth, very classy, however, don't go near the pavlova, it's just for show. There is also A la carte if you prefer. read more
