They are not a traditional wellness center, they have all the latest equipment and technology to support longevity. The space has a very relaxing feel, soft colors, almost a zen feel to it. We got to try the cryo chamber, which is super cold, we lasted 1 minute. Then we went to the infrared sauna with cold plunge, my favorite. I could barely get into the cold plunge, however I appreciated the experience. Next was the NEO light bed, with different settings & colors, that promote healing. It was very relaxing to lay on the bed. You wear a pair of dark glasses to protect you eyes. After that we went to the float room, which was my least favorite thing. The water wasn't heated and I got salt in my eye. After that we had the compression therapy. I had the compression on my hips. My lower back felt better after the compression therapy. I highly recommend trying Pause out for the different healing modalities that they have

She briefly told me what it was, and I said, "Cool, see if I can get an appointment as well." So she touched base with this place and they gave us an appointment two hours later. They told us not to apply lotions, and not to wear any jewelry below the neck. We could not find the place!! Yelp directions couldn't get us there, Waze, Siri, no one!!! So we called and she explained where to go. Look for the 595 Corporate Sign, and it's behind the HUGE building, in a warehouse area. We get there and it's attached to a gym. The gym has some super fit people working out, and they direct us to where it is. We walk in and the lady was welcoming, and at the time was directing another customer who was in the chamber to turn every 15 seconds. She checked us in, and a few others walked in, and then walked in Steve, the owner of the gym. He assisted her and helped get everyone situated. He also talked to us and told us more benefits of Cryanotherapy and how it personally helps him. I was really impressed by him. Well, let's get to business. You get naked, put on booties and gloves, and get realllllly cold for about two/three minutes. I thought it would be absolute torture. It wasn't pleasant, but it wasn't that bad at all. When you get out and get dressed, you step on a vibrating plate thing...that was interesting. Overall it was a fun experience, and I would do it again, I felt a little bit giddy when it was done, and am looking forward to going again!

I want to start by saying my attendant was very nice and didn't appear to have anything to do with…read morethe marketing that brought me in. Based on my experience in marketing and branding, she was clearly following a script she was trained on. The moment I asked questions off script, there were no answers--and no one else stepped in to help. That alone told me this may not be an isolated situation. This location is actually great--right near the LA Fitness I use, surrounded by other health and wellness businesses. On paper, it's the perfect spot for a place like iCRYO. The issue is how I was brought in. My daughter came across a social media ad offering a $349 package for $47 "TODAY ONLY" with a countdown timer and limited availability. Obvious red flags--but we still gave it a shot. As adults who are active and into fitness and wellness, we genuinely enjoy supporting local businesses that align with that lifestyle. I signed up, paid the $47, and within minutes got a call to book same-day. I was told to expect about a 30-minute visit including a tour. When I got there, everything started off normal--check-in, paperwork, quick tour. I've done cryotherapy and compression therapy before, so I was familiar with most of what they offer. For context, I had knee reconstruction surgery at 18 and have dealt with chronic pain ever since. Managing it through fitness and recovery is just part of my life at this point. So trying something new for $47 is typically worth it in the aggregate. The service I received was red light therapy, which I hadn't tried before. It was presented as part of a "$379 weight loss body contouring package." Screenshots of the actual advertisement and messages are included in this review. The attendants description was read off of the brochure posted in the therapy room. It listed about 20 ailments you can treat by changing the settings of the machine (interestingly, weight loss wasn't even one of them). Stress, hormone balance, pain, autonomic nerve balance, and soft tissue repair were some of the options. I chose "athletic recovery," since I had just come from the gym. A pic of that chart is also included. I was told the session is 12 minutes of therapy and was given basic instructions on how to start the machine after disrobing. It lasted about 8 minutes (I timed it while listening to a podcast). It's similar to a tanning bed, flatter and less comfortable. Afterward, the attendant (again, very nice) went into the membership pitch, which I expected. You advertise to get bodies in front of your pitch person, I get it 100%. After hearing the different plans and memberships, I asked one simple question: What would that exact session cost if I walked in off the street? Answer: $39.....? So I clarified--just to be sure I wasn't misunderstanding--that I had just paid $47 for something that normally costs $39. She confirmed that was correct. No other words spoken. I asked about the $379 package I supposedly purchased, and she said that was a third-party promotion and she wasn't familiar with it. (Insert awkward silence) No one stepped in. No one tried to explain it. No one seemed surprised. I turned down the offer to pay more money for additional sessions and walked out the door. On my way to my car, I remembered I grabbed a screenshot of the advertised package for reasons lole this...... Surly if I show her I was telling the truth I would get a different reaction. That was a negative ghost-rider.... neither her or the other two employees in the room acted concerned or suprised that I was baited with a "$379 package for only $47" offer, and the off-the-street price is $39. There was still no explanation or attempt to reconcile the situation. Just more awkward silence and stares. At that point, it felt less like confusion and more like a disconnect between the marketing and what is actually being delivered in-store. It seems like this is their intended model. To continue to be fair: the staff I interacted with was polite, and the facility itself is clean and well-located. That's what makes this more frustrating--because the underlying business seems solid. What I would have liked to reasonably understand (and would still welcome): What exactly is included in the advertised $349 package? How does that differ from the $39 walk-in service I actually received? Why didn't the staff know about the package or advertisement? Does that promotion and result represent their brand the way they intended? The silver lining in this story is the opportunity to share the experience with the review community so others don't get scammed. Beware when you see an iCRYO promotion or advertisement. Over time, you are usually on the receiving end of warnings and praise for businesses and services. Today, I am a giver! My $47 investment will hopefully help another member of the community. In the meantime, my search for new technology that can help manage my pain continues.

I started with the red light therapy bed for about 12 minutes, and it was honestly the best sleep I've had in a long time. My body felt relaxed and energized at the same time -- such a great feeling. After that, I did the compression therapy on my legs and hips, which felt sooo good, especially with all the training I've been doing. I also tried an IV drip that really woke my body up, and then I finished with the cryo session... which was insane in the best way. I went in wearing a sports bra, shorts, high knee socks, gloves, and a face/neck cover -- but next time I'm definitely bringing a hat! I danced the whole time in the cryo chamber to Bad Bunny's "Tití Me Preguntó", which made the experience even more fun. This was my first time doing anything like this, and it couldn't have come at a better time. My boyfriend surprised me with the full spa package to help me prepare for my half marathon the next day, and it was exactly what my body needed. I can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!

A review of social media memories over the weekend reminded me that its been awhile since having…read morecosmetic surgery. Most men are afraid to share with others - especially strangers - that they have had "work" done. I am not one of them. I met Dr. Lisa Learn through a patient/friend who had undergone a cosmetic surgery procedure. A fellow gastric bypass patient, my friend underwent an abdominoplasty - or tummy tuck - procedure. She looked great and I wanted to look great as well. In desire of ridding myself of extra skin following a 160-pound weight loss, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Learn at her Fort Lauderdale office. It was an initial consultation to determine whether my insurance company would consider such procedure medically necessary. Initial consultation went great. I met Dr. Learn and her assistant - Teresa - to discuss options. I provided medical records and photos were taken for submission to insurance. As a guy who has never "cared" for his "looks," I took advantage of the consultation to discuss my face - specially around the eyes and jaw/cheek area. I was not happy with what I thought were droopy eyelids and sagging cheeks. Dr. Learn agreed, basically stating that the cheeks/jawline "issue" were the result of massive weight loss. As for the droopy eyelids, it was explained as part of the natural aging process. Long story short, I decided on several procedures to immediately improve my "look." Blepharoplasty - surgery for my upper eyes; and "Profound" - a laser non-surgical procedure to tighten up my cheeks and jawline. Voluma XC and Bellafill would thereafter be considered as dermal fillers. All procedures would be performed in the office with local anesthetic. Surgery day came and went before I knew it. First the blepharoplasty, then the "Profound" laser treatment. With my eyes, I could see an immediate improvement. As for the cheeks/jawline, Dr. Learn had fully explained that an improvement would not be seen for several months. Over the next few months, I had a number of "follow-up" visits with Dr. Learn. During these visits, I received both Voluma XC and Bellafill - which I learned was a relatively new dermal treatment that not only stimulates collagen growth - but could last for five years. As for abdominoplasty, my insurance company denied benefits and I decided to "self-pay" for the procedure. Thereafter - and only hours before the scheduled procedure - I chickened out and cancelled surgery. I'm not sure if it was peer pressure not to have the procedure or the "possible" six-week healing process. My "look" has changed to the point that I cannot reuse old social media photos. I "look" that different. Thanks, Dr. Learn. William E. Lewis, Jr. Vero Beach, Florida

When I went to her I was in a state of depression and still very traumatized, when I consulted with her she seemed personable and caring. I was so desperate that I chose the first doctor i consulted with, which was Dr.Learn, I just wish I would have gone to other surgeon consultations before choosing her. Initially I thought the results were good, but then once my breasts healed I wasn't happy with her work, I have photos and videos, my left breast which was the one with the biggest damage, looks almost the same as it did before surgery, based on my experience I would NOT recommend her to fix botched surgery, I did go to another surgeon recently and he was so knowledgeable and explained to me everything in detail about how he would have done my surgery, he was very experienced with fixing botched surgeries, unfortunately I Need to save money to have the surgery redone by him.
