Our pre-school/kindergarten age group classes are more strict than some other gyms so you have to find what's best for you. Our beginner classes for kids 5-12 are focusing on the basics for success, we have three different pre-team classes so we can place a gymnast with a group that will be fitted to their needs, and we of course have our team program. We do not have a level 1 or 2 team as we train pre-team to move on to either our level 3 compulsory program or excel. When we moved to Boise, ID we were nervous about finding a gym that was right for us. We did a lot of shopping around and as soon as we walked into Mountain West, my daughter and I knew we found the place to call HOME! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with happy smiles! All the coaches and owners make my daughter feel like she is a part of the family. The Staff and Owners are all friendly and willing to help all the kids with whatever they need! Rick and Heidi are amazing gym owners and put the girls needs first. They are always giving tips to the kids to help them get better and improve. The class is a bit over an hour and there are anywhere from 6-9 kids in each class that I have counted. The one teacher for each class has the kids do a variety of exercises and the kids generally look like they enjoy the class. I noticed that the kids that need extra help may or may not have attention. The teacher shows them what to do and then lets them run through the circuit. If there aren't too many kids in the class, of course the level of attention is better. The prices of classes seem average. You get a discount for auto pay from a checking account. I noticed that there is a large number of highly skilled gymnasts that use the gym and it is inspiring to see advanced skills in the young kids who have been there for awhile.

The entire school is incredibly clean, organized, and well run. The pool is always kept at a warm, comfortable temperature, and the entire facility is painted and decorated in such a fun, colorful, kid-friendly way. We also really appreciated the structured curriculum, which made it easy for our daughters to steadily build skills and confidence as they progressed through each level. My youngest has taken year-round lessons for the past two years, and watching her grow into such a strong and confident swimmer has been amazing. My older daughter was a part of Swim Force this past year and absolutely loved it. As a parent, I have loved watching them earn their certificates and ribbons as they mastered each level. Quick Google search landed me on Boise Gun Club's web site. They are open Wednesdays and Sundays, so I decided to head down one Sunday which also happened to be Father's Day. Getting checked in is really simple. You buy "tickets" which then you redeem at the trap/skeet stations when you squad up. Really simple system and went very smoothly. The grounds are very nice and well kept. Each trap station has a covered hut you can relax in and get some break from the sunshine between rounds. There is a large covered area with picnic tables. Inside the club house is a kitchen which is open both days serving food and drinks. Everyone working there was very nice and helpful. I am definitely hooked and will be back very soon! Likely join as a member after July 31st when they renew.

Whether you are big or small, new to Yoga or experienced - you will feel at home here. The interior is a relaxing space with a bench from an old churcch. Curtains of birch trees sway as you face the instructor. The colors are relaxing and for my class it was cool and comfy. The natural wood touches that were fashioned by family add so much to this space in this small shopping strip near downtown Nampa. I took a class with Nicole and full disclosure here-She is a dear friend and has opened this studio with her Yoga Class partner Teresa and they are both talented instructors who love the practice of Yoga.
