I have had 4 lessons with Rebecca and she is amazing because she does not over complicate things. I play this course every week and sometimes hit balls on the range. The prices are great and greens are amazing, staff is incredible. I really enjoy playing the pit but the walk is like a mountain. All in all a great course and the free water is great. My favorite hole is hole 2 and 18 the reason why hole 2 is my favorite is beucase it is very pretty and i play it well hole 18 is also my favorite beucase my grandparents live on that hole. 09/28/22 From out of State, visiting Gbabies regularly and have played this course multiple times. Great course. Not too hard of a track. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the views. Reasonably priced although it's increased since last year. Still a very nice and playable course. Not too much trouble but the greens were rolling exceptionably well today. read more

Paying 60 dollars to have to pee in a porta potty that smells like actual sewage. 60 dollars for this course is absolutely robbery. No water stations, no ice anywhere, no coolers, and you have to sit in the musty porta potty for the low price of 60 dollars. About five groups in front of us had kids and the pace of play was terrible. Greens were decent, tee boxes a bit worn. For 60 dollars at least give us a small bucket to hit. To clarify, having your toddlers on the course is fine, but don't let them run around on the green while you are on the next tee box. Also, a group in front of us couldn't advance the ball more than 10 yards and were all in t-shirts and jeans, once again, for 60 dollars come on. read more

Normally I would give them a strong 4-5 but they let us down last Thursday. Usually enjoy this course and don't mind driving 45 minutes to get there and the people are top notch. With most mornings having frost I can't believe they booked tee times starting at 8am with a 30 degree sunny forecast for last Thursday morning. With no prior communication they tell us when we get there that there is and 1 1/2 hour delay and no apology. We get there a half hour early so they expected us to wait around for two hours just to play golf. Again, this is after driving 45 mins to get there. Too much to ask and they did not handle the situation well at all. read more

Let's me say the coarse is mediocre at best. But that's to be expect for a coarse that has very new landscape. I went with a group of 3. We do not golf very much and we are not very good. So we were slower than most people out there. We gladly let every player play through. And we were told by the attendant that we speed up. I told him we are not experienced and learning as we go and he just said " well you guys need to hurry it up. " that was frustrating and ruined the whole rest of the game. Other than that everything was fine but I will not go back do to the treatment we received and the mediocre course. read more

Nice looking course. Well maintained with a very friendly staff. No trees to speak of, but a lot of great views. Grass is in good shape. The driving range is good as well. Hardly anyone on the course during the week from what I've seen. That's good too. This course is definitely worth a visit. I finally played eighteen here yesterday. It was so much fun. The course is a good length and the holes are a good mix of easy and challenging. Good mix of water and sand and good use of the terrain. The staff and everyone are very nice and friendly. This course is definitely worth playing. It's near my house, so I'll surely be back often. read more

Stopped by after work to hit a bucket of balls, I wasn't aware that the range closes at 5pm on Monday as that info is not posted any where on the website or the internet that I could find. Instead of being polite and letting me know the range was closed, the guy behind the counter must have thought that being a rude jerk was a better option. This is only my second time here and was excited to live so close to a course, but I will not be returning to Redhawk to use the range ever again and will never golf here. I am glad I've only spent $6.00 on a bucket of balls before I found out how they treat there customers. Centennial is further from my home than this place, but they will be getting all my business moving forward... including the purchase of a new set of clubs. read more

This golf course, formerly Hunter's Point, has been revamped, renamed and under new ownership. Those familiar with the changes say that all three are great improvements. I played it for the first time Thursday (3/5/15) and have to say that it was an, hmmmmm, interesting experience. First of all, it is rather difficult to find - gps does not quite understand where it is located, then the signage, the little signage that exists, still says Hunter's Point. Secondly, there is still quite a bit of construction going on, so when you do find the course, you are not sure where you are supposed to park or find the clubhouse. Being persistent does pay off, though. I was the first person on the course this particular day - maybe because it was 28 degrees outside and the greens and sand traps were still frozen. Holes 1 through 6 are located below the clubhouse in what the clubhouse guy called "the pit". After the pit, there is a rather steep climb out of "the pit" to the seventh tee box (very tiring if you are walking). 7 through 9 are very playable and enjoyable holes. But after 9 the walk to the 10th tee is a considerable, well maybe even more than considerable, hike! 10 and 11 play pretty much straight away and then you walk through an underpass to the other side of a street. Finding the 12th tee is not too easy, but if you stay on the cart path you can eventually find it. 12, 13 and fourteen play on that side of the street, then it is back under the street again to the 15th tee. Here you will experience a geographical oddity - an uphill par three @ 189 yds. followed by a 209 yd. par four. Then another hike to the 17th tee. 17 and 18 play back and forth and, after sinking your final putt, you discover you are probably at least a quarter of a mile from the clubhouse and that's taking a shortcut through a construction zone. I talked to another golfer today that said it is approximately 8 1/2 miles around the course. I believe him - I was one tired dude when I finished! Would I play the course again? Maybe when it is warmer and definitely with a cart. read more

Very disappointed in RedHawk for their handling of rain checks. About 3 weeks ago paid for 18 holes and a cart it started to rain along with thunder and lightning could not finish so asked for a rain check and we got one but went back to play back nine and was told we had to pay $38.00 dollars more when we had already paid for all of it. The young man behind the counter informed us they were losing money and that's why they had to charge us what we already had paid for. This way of business is more like losing customers. read more

Course is in great shape. Greens are running a bit firm, but rolling true. Was quite windy today but still a fair test, Nice views, building more homes in the area, but should not impact the enjoyment of the course. Long walk to and from 9th and 18th holes and the walk out of the front bowl is tough. All said definitely worth the drive from Boise to get there. The renewal of the course has made this course exceptional. Course is in great condition and they continue to make wonderful upgrades that will really make this a great public course and facilities when complete. The course itself is beautiful and the removal of bunkers has been strategic and really added to enjoyable playability for all skills. read more
