I needed a Urologist because I'd been having retention and was struggling to go at night. This was my first visit to a Urologist ever and I was worried about seeing one. When I got to my appointment I was checked in by a nice receptionist. I was greeted by a young nurse. (male) then visited with a super friendly PA, Nick Allen and he spent a lot of time talking with me and explaining things. I felt really comfortable and relaxed quickly. I'd recommend this place to my friends and anyone who needs help. Hard to get thru on the phone but don't let that put you off. Believe me, the staff is worth a little effort. read more

I want to be careful. My experience was not like the other bad reviews. The Doctor was pleasant and seemed to know his stuff. But, I didn't see much of him. Most of my interactions have been with a PA. My procedure was not a success. Having the doctor talk to me about what happened and what to do next would be comforting. Having the PA talk to me doesn't make me confident. After review with AI, I understand that the procedure may not have failed, but that another treatable condition occurred. The PA didn't tell me that. I'm disappointed that I wasn't briefed by the doctor. I will say that I think they are too focused on the money. JMHO read more

this place is terrible. I've been there twice in the last 2 years and each time I've regretted it. this last visit they put me in a dirty room that had dirty scissors and another tool. the bed had been obviously used and had dirty bedding. after the tech did my vitals I was just staring looking disgusted and then she finally said I will get this cleaned up. with me in the room. no wiping of anything just getting new paper in the bed and the tools in the sink. I was appalled. my first experience the doctor and staff were very rude and I even started crying. it was terrible. I will never go back. find somewhere else if you want good quality care. read more

Saw Muncey because he claims to specialize in HRT. I don't mind arrogance if it's justified. I found him to be an arrogant prick who is lacking in knowledge on TRT. Save your money and see someone who truly knows the ins/outs of HRT. Also charged nearly $400 for a 10 min consultation. No exam, even though the clinic notes suggest otherwise. FRAUD?? They will lead you on to believe that a simple vasectomy will be covered by your insurance, set everything up and then call you the week of the procedure to let you know that it will actually be $700 out of pocket instead, and then charge you $250 for a 5 minute conversation after you cancel your appointment. I don't often write reviews, but felt compelled to share my experience since it seems to run contrary to so many others. I have always found the receptionists friendly, warm, and efficient. All of my appointments were on time, and none had been cancelled. Prescriptions were promptly sent and accurate. I have found blood-draws and labs to be efficient, and as pleasant as being poked with a needle can be. The lab tech was always friendly and kind. I found Dr. Wade Muncey to be compassionate, humorous, thorough, and trustworthy. It felt like we collaborated on a care plan. He proposed several options, gave me his thoughts, and asked how I felt about each. He took the time to explain the benefits and risks of each. He is quite adept at making you feel comfortable and I genuinely felt he cared about the outcomes. read more

Dr. Kuo and her team were absolutely amazing! I wished I would have done the Bulkamid sooner! My experience with issues leaking and at times actually peeing my pants prohibited my quality of life, feeling that people my catch a smell and avoiding any overnight events. Dr. Kuo listened as I told her about trying the Emsella chair and European eggs, literally spending over or more than a couple grand hoping for a solution! All I asked was I wanted to dance at my daughters wedding without wearing a diaper, that my 80 some yr old mother suggested! :( This was by far the best investment. For any women out there, don't waste your money and visit Dr. Kuo as her professionalism spoke so much to me due to being so self-conscience about my privates being exposed! #1 go visit her! The doctor I saw was great. However I had to pay a co-pay because when I made the appointment I was told they didn't take my secondary insurance. The doctor told me during the appointment that they do take it. I have been talking to someone in billing for 3 months now and am still trying to get them to give me the $50 refund that I was promised LAST YEAR. The amount of times I have been directly lied to in order for them to hold onto $50 is crazy. I can't NOT recommend this place enough. read more

Dr. Kuo was amazing. But the rest of the practice is garbage. In addition to the constant inexplicable delays when waiting for my cancer surgery, IUI consistently violates the information blocking rule of the 21st century CURES act -- they violate Federal law by refusing to release records when requested (I have seen someone else saying the same thing online). Entirely so people don't see their results and not come back to incur further expense -- and give them more money. Then when I complained to my PA, she cut me off rudely and wanted to argue with me. I will never go back,. This is why Americans don't trust health care any more. And spare me the "we'd love to talk about your experience" reply. You don't care. First time going to the Meridian office. Worst experience ever. The front office staff is the worst.

Communication was non-existant. Getting a hold of a nurse or my doctor would take multiple phone calls. Then the nurse would tell me something completely different than the doctor. They routinely sent my prescriptions to the wrong pharmacy. On the day of my procedure we had to drive across town twice to pick up three different prescriptions due to them not sending them where I asked. My initial appointment was at 4:45pm, when they closed at 5pm. I did not ask for that specific time, it was stated as being available. When I arrived, I was treated like a person that walks in just as a restaurant closes and orders everything on the menu. It was also determined I needed to get an x-ray, but a nurse said "Everyone has left for the day. We close at 5" and yet it wasn't 5pm. If you don't want any patients that late in the day, don't offer it as an appointment. I was also treated horribly and lied to when I ran out of pain meds. Apparently kidney stones are not supposed to be painful after the doctor tells you the pain will go away. When I was told they would send a pain medication to my pharmacy, they would either forget until I called them the next day or send something else. The number of nights and suffering I went through because of this clinic makes me think I should have just let the kidney stone stay where it was. Also the pricing they tell me, which I pay day of the appointment, is not the actual price. They will later send a bill for more. I have had kidney stones and kidney stone surgery before, so I know what to expect. This clinic was one of the worse experience I have ever had.​ read more

This place is terrible. I keep giving them chances and they keep screwing up. They treat people like livestock, impersonal, rude. They screwed up several of my appoinments and acted like it was my fault. The nurses were rude, the PA was rude. I've never experienced anything like this at a medical facility. I will spare you the details, but I will say that everytime I have had an appointment or interacted with anyone at IUI (many times), I have gone away feeling crappy. They make you feel like you're anoying them. It's a definitely a cultural thing with IUI and it's probably from the top down. One 10 min after we ARRIVED to the appt, 2nd cancelled an hour before, 3rd was a telehealth at 4:10 pm. I called at 3:45 to confirm information and see how to set up teleheath. I called at 4:20 wondering what was going on/why we hadn't been called yet and again at 4:50 wondering why we still hadn't been called. The doctor had left and they had multiple excuses that didn't make any sense "oh he tried to call, oh the number didn't work, oh he was running late, oh you guys never called us". Front desk staff sent our confidential test results to the wrong email, told us the wrong price for a test, and overall treated us extremely poorly. this place is THE WORST! Don't be fooled by the warm kindness you hear when you call them, the receptionists are sweet. You might also even have an initially fine reasonable visit where they outline a plan to treat your problem. The malfunction seems to kick in right after that to the extent that the internal office is too dysfunctional to execute on the plan. They don't handle phone calls, prescriptions, testing, procedures, etc. Everything seems to fall through the cracks, nobody owns any specific task or function. Your requests will bounce from one wrong place to another while you die from bladder problems or old age. read more

I chose this facility since they were opened locally and have a surgical center all together...a plus with aging parents who don't want to go to the doctor! Facility was centrally located across the street from St Lukes in Meridian. Very nice and good parking close to the building. Even the "check in staff" vet friendly and took note of a closer seat for my struggling senior! Dr Fredriksson was very pleasant and made my almost 90 year old family member feel at ease. Talked to HER and assured her calmly and pleasantly. The only negative....when the nurse showed my mother the rest room for a urine sample, I was surprised to see garbage on the floor (wrappers etc) and even mentioned it, the nurse shrugged it off. It was the ONLY negative but surprised at the "that's below my job attitude". The rest of the care (which was what mattered) was GREAT! read more

So today I go in to get a refill on pain medications and I get told no. When you have gone to a doctor for Kidney stones or kidney pain only when you are having trouble and they treat you like a Drug addict it really shows the lack of care they have for the real patients. In my case I may go there once a year for kidney pain And prior to this visit I would have the doctor just go ahead and take them out due to working in Alaska in a remote area. I was totally just ignored when I went to them for a prevention exam. The provider I saw was nice but basically dismissed my issues. She had me get a scan done downstairs the next day. I was never told about the results only that she handed me off to a male provider in her office. Incredibly rude and insensitive treatment to a patient. After talking to the ceo and their policy on being in the room when waking up from anesthesia we will never go back. For years we have decisions on that and have decided we want to come to with spouses around. Not some strange face only. He has been there for all my sedition and wake ups. It also felt like a super rush job. If you dont mind being told no you cant be there you will do fine. But for those who know how they want treated and family included this is not your place. We either have a facility that respects our wishes or no procedures will be done at any facility or by any company period . Not being in the room is not a hipaa policy. We know our rights and you make it so i cant do my job and adviocate for said person. read more
