There is also a game room, and a decent selection of free DVD's and books to borrow; as well as a couple of common areas with sofas, fireplace and big screen TV. The chef, Brittany was a big surprise for such a small city . Can't say enough about the food in Kersama Restaurant, so I'll just say everything we had over the course of the two night stay was excellent. Her husband Jesse worked well with her and served as the bartender and waiter, provided great service. Carol, one of the owners, was the perfect hostess. We had one slight glitch, and it was rectified immediately with no question. She was like a personal tour guide, suggesting where to go and what to do. Bear Lake is beautiful, and this is a wonderful place to stay if you are in the area.

Our glamping tent was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with some of the nicest beds we've slept in while traveling. The tent included both a heater and a fan, giving us options for any weather, although we didn't need either during our stay. The bedding was so comfortable and warm that we slept great throughout the night. The entire property was spotless, including the shower and bathroom facilities, which were always clean and well-maintained. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities in the bathhouses, including soap, shampoo, lotion, and hair dryers. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. The smash burger and Brussels sprouts were both outstanding and some of our favorite meals during our stay. We also loved the camp store, especially having fresh coffee available in the morning. One of the fun surprises was receiving a cute s'mores kit at check-in. It was a thoughtful touch and made our evening campfire even more enjoyable. What really made our stay special was the outstanding customer service. Steve went above and beyond--he came by to light our campfire, asked about our trip, and offered helpful recommendations for places to visit after leaving the ranch. We also noticed him providing the same friendly, personal service to other guests, which says a lot about the hospitality at Conestoga Ranch. There were plenty of activities to enjoy on-site, including free ping-pong tables and video games and air hockey available for a small fee. The ranch also offers a great selection of bicycles, and we enjoyed riding the scenic 5-mile trail to the marina and beach. One thing to note is that the campground is not directly on Bear Lake, but it's just a short distance away. We were treated to a gorgeous sunrise over Bear Lake from the ranch, which was the perfect way to start the day. Beautiful accommodations, excellent food, outstanding service, and a fun, relaxing atmosphere made this one of the highlights of our trip. We would definitely stay here again!

There are beds, dressers, fans, a heater, lighting, outlets. It seemed great. Until.... I noticed there were bugs in the bed. On the sheets, under the covers. So many little bugs. Unfortunately, I didn't see how many there really were until the morning. I took a zoomed in photo and discovered that they're a type of LICE! They were in all 3 beds in the tent, plus the carpets and floor. I fully recognize that this is nature, and I expected some bugs... spiders, flies, that kind of thing. But not lice in the beds. As if that weren't enough... When we arrived, we were told to text when we wanted to have the campfire lit (I assumed they wanted to have control over the fires, so that was fine) and that there was a bucket of water to put it out and for safety reasons. Someone did come to light the campfire, but I noticed the water bucket was empty. I told him about it, and he told me, "If you want to go to sleep, just leave the fire burning. It'll be fine." The fire pit was literally 3 feet from a mountainside of tall grass. The wildfires in Utah have been outrageous this summer. It's been terrible and devastating. If you live here, you know. I was not going to just leave a fire burning, throwing embers into the grass. My husband stayed up until midnight to make sure it burned out properly (fire extinguisher nearby just in case). Also... the shower in the bath house was cold, even turned up to completely "hot." I showered at 6:30am, before most of the campground was up, so no chance the hot water was depleted yet. And... We were told that breakfast and coffee would be available at 7:30am. It was not. The place wasn't even supposed to open until 5pm, so I'm not sure why they told us it was available in the morning. We left the campground for coffee and food. When we wanted to check out, we called for a golf cart as we were told to do. It was the hottest week in Utah history. It was seriously so hot. The office texted back that someone was on the way. We waited outside for 15 minutes before just carrying all our stuff through the campground and back to the car ourselves. We just wanted to leave. Passing the main building on the way to the car, 2 people were sitting on a golf cart just playing on their phones. Nobody ever went to the tent. Honestly, I could have accepted ALL of this (except the bed lice... that's a hard no) if one night wasn't $300-400 after fees. For a tent with a bed. Not worth it. I'd rather just camp for real.

Its management was very friendly and responsive and accommodating. Due to some miscoordination, we showed-up one day later than we had planned, but its managers readily refunded us and then recharged us. Its common areas, including both its mid-level kitchen and its upper-level den, were all lovely and wonderfully-comfortable and cozy with gas fireplaces---and we appreciated its decks with ample welcoming benches. Its rooms were well-maintained and beautiful and exceptionally clean with marvelous window views of the surrounding mountains. And its beds were very cozy. It had some nice big-screen television sets that we didn't use on this particular trip. Plus, it had large bathtubs that could accommodate couples. For all of this, its price was excellent. And it was easy to find. It was only several minutes from the Limber Pine hiking trail, and about 15 minutes from Garden City with its lakeside vistas and famous raspberries. Overall, it was a great experience for a great price, and we're both eager to return sometime.

There is a small skiing resort very close by if you wanted to go skiing or snowboarding. I may not have gone snowmobiling but I really enjoyed having time to enjoy the views and relax after a long work week. The staff is very nice and you feel right at home. I recommend this place :)

We're currently working to get a refund on the nights we didn't use (since we left early) and still haven't received a call back. Hoping this review gets some attention from the owners so we don't have to escalate further. I called the manager to explain this wasn't tobacco, we were unaware and would never allow smoking on their premises. I asked for a reduction in the fee to $100 which I would have our son pay for the lesson learned. No one in our family smokes tobacco and we took excellent care of the unit, even avoiding shoes inside. The manager refused, stated I was lying, insisting the unit reeked of smoke, and complaining that we got a great deal on the condo (prior to memorial day opening season at Bear Lake when we were the only visitors, so of course they gave us a deal!), and ultimately offered me $50 off, still resulting in an extra $286 loss to my family. I was happy to pay some portion of the fee for the 'clove cigarette,' but was terribly disappointed in this unfounded accusation and huge added expense for my family.

It had a funky smell upon walking in but went away quickly. Our room opens up to the pool and has a good small lake view. 113 was right by the north exit door so it was very convenient. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were a little rough and the air condition is in the main room so it was a little warm for me but not too bad. I was able to sleep great. Book odd rooms between 101 and 113 to have your room open up to the pool. We spoke to the owners of 205 and their room is upstairs with a pool facing patio. They were very nice and will have a great winter sale on VRBO. The only complaint I have is the check out instructions mentioned not taking the bedding off unless stained or soiled-they seemed clean but now I'm wondering?!?! I'd probably call to confirm next time. All together we were very happy! We'll be back.

I am not sure how the reservation got mixed up because we could never have gone in August due to job and school commitments. However, we also never looked closely at our confirmation email which clearly said it was booked for August. So.... The reason I am giving this such a high rating is that Natalie from BLL is the best! I cannot say enough good things about her, the hoops she went through to get us into a rental, and etc. The entire time we were driving from Denver to Bear Lake she was working some magic behind the scenes to find us a condo for our week's vacation. Not only did she find us a great place, she went over and above to make sure that our stay was fantastic! Our condo was AMAZING, the view was AMAZING! The rental was very clean and comfortable with free wifi, a full kitchen and a grill. We stayed at Harbor Village which is right across the street from one of the marinas and has tennis courts and a pool. For kids, this is a great place to stay. For us, this was a Godsend as our previous plans for the summer had been cancelled due to COVID. We will be back and we will definitely rent from Bear Lake Lodging again! Book with them - you will not be disappointed.

We liked the resort overall. Just like any place it is not perfect but a solid 4 stars. The good: the rooms were clean and pretty spacious, very friendly staff, bathrooms are top notch, access to a large pool that was heated perfectly, access to tennis (we did not use), nice location, and solid walls so you could not hear the neighbors TV or screaming kids The bad: check in time is only at 4pm (unless arranged for another time). I did not read the check in instructions so this was my fault, luckily the manager called and asked if we were still coming and was really nice despite my mistake. They do not stock the bathrooms with shampoo so bring your own, they do provide soap. Since the resort is circular it can be a maze to get to your room (I'm nit-picking here). We only were given one key so we had to coordinate a lot to ensure no one was locked out. The price was about what to expect when visiting bear lake in the summer over a very busy weekend so it was high but expect to pay that. Sure you can spend less down the road but you will not have access to a big heated pool. The kids and I loved the pool a lot. This was a highlight to our trip.

BAREBONES and DIRTY. We stayed here in July 2026 and it was terrible. There is no office, no…read moreclerk, no on-site manager. You get your key from the cashier at the pizza place in front. Upon stepping into the room, we found piles of dirt and dust that had blown in under the door (no weather stripping). When we pointed this out to a man who identified himself as the manager, he just looked and apologized and told me that the gardeners used a blower to clear the leaves, etc. from the walkway. He made no attempt to clean up the mess or to have the maid service clean it up the next day. It was like staying in a cave. No cups; no soap or shampoo; no bath matts; no coffee maker, etc.; no hangers; lamp on bedside table did not work (probably because there was no nearby electrical outlet); 1 of 2 lights above the bathroom mirror were out. This is an example of deferred maintenance to the max. The walkways were a minefield of cracks, elevation differences, etc. The walls had been painted recently, as evidence by paint platters on the upholstery of one of the chairs. Do NOT stay here. Sleep on the street or drive home.
